Coggy's Catch Up........

coggy · 12/01/2007 19:38

It seems FOREVER ago that I was properly on MN and obssessively ttc!
Only 2 1/2 months ago but alot has happened in that time I expect (no.....sadly no bfp from me yet!!!)
I guess that Debbsy has had her Bibsy and maybe Peachy too......BooBoo next month.....lots of other BFPs??????
Natty, MrsMc and Trace have kept me with some of the news on here.

Here's a quick catch-up with me and what is happening.....
I am CD25 of a usual 26/27 day cycle with all the classic AF signs.....cramps, tiredness, wind etc. etc. (It's nice to be back!! )
I am starting IUI this next cycle so I am only a couple of days away from that and VERY excited and VERY nervous about jabbing myself too!
I figured as well as catching up with my old ttc buddies I could also moan and groan merrily away about it all on this thread and (hopefully) get a little bit of (much needed) sympathy at the same time!!!

I am SUCH a wimp really!!!!
Roll on CD1......

am on cd35 tomorrow by the way, and STILL NO AF!!!!!!!!
wannabe and Coggs.......sounds SO good for you two just now, it really does!!!!
(((((((great big massive hugs to all my old buddies)))))))))))))))

wannaBeWhateverIWannaBe · 20/01/2007 07:42

morning all

suspense over here - af arrived this morning. Hey ho not that unexpected really as have been here so many times before. So, which one of you two is going to test to put me out of my misery? .

Am so hoping you both get your bfp's this month it all sounds so hopeful.

only thing that will be a bit sad is,

if you both get bfp's then I'll be the only one left :-(

coggy · 20/01/2007 10:29

......shame about AF again wannaBe.

I really don't feel pg at all and I am seriously not expecting a bfp so I don't think I'll be leaving you. It's just a strange old month and in my heart of hearts I am sure that it is just a funny AF and I will have wasted yet another month of ttc and not doing my jabs.
((((hugs to you))))

Booboobedoo · 20/01/2007 15:26

Sorry Wannabe .

.

Booboobedoo · 20/01/2007 15:26

Hi Natty!

trace2 · 20/01/2007 17:38

for you wanabe ((hugs))

Natty1806 · 20/01/2007 18:51

Hello Boo

Glad to hear your doing so well after all that terrible m/s in the early stages.

Can't wait for you to post a picture of your buddle of joy in a few months. Are you excited/scared?

Booboobedoo · 20/01/2007 18:54

Both really!

Can't wait though.

It runs in the family to deliver 2 weeks late, so hopefully LO will be here by March 17th.

DH is stripping the wallpaper in the 'nursery' as we speak. It must be close to drive him to DIY!

How are you feeling about the ovarian drilling? It's in March, isn't it?

pussycatmomma · 20/01/2007 20:02

Hiya ....
Just wanted to say Sorry Wannabe, af rearing her ugly head once again. ((((hugs and commiserations hun))))))
I feel exactly same as Coggy....really dont feel as if it is possible I could be pregnant. I was awake at 4.00 this morning with it all going round in my head. Why should this month be any different? Am cd36 tomorrow.
Will keep you all posted.
Natty, ovarian drilling is fine, You will be fine sweetie. If i can survive anyone can! Be prepared to lie with the poorly blanket for a good few days after though. Despite what some folks may tell you, its still invasive surgery and the general anasthetic is a bit grim. (((hugs)))

coggy · 20/01/2007 21:16

PCM...do you also not want to test because you don't really want to know (mostly I suppose cos I just expect it to be negative like every other one......except one of course....my ds).

I especially didn't want to test earlier in case it was a bfp and then the bleeding was an early m/c.

I suppose both of those things put me off testing whereas normally I'd be pretty keen.

pussycatmomma · 20/01/2007 21:51

Coggy, yes absolutely, agree on both your points. I feel as if this has been all i have thought about for past couple of weeks, just cant get it out of my head! But, for some strange reason, instead of tesing as soon as poss, i am really really really reluctant. I just dont want to burst my little bubble of hope. Its like, if af comes, then thats it, game over. But if she doenst come, even if im not prg , i can still think that i MIGHT be......does that make sense..?
Tbh.........dont want this little bit of hope to be over, and still no af, cause then i would really feel like i was going stir crazy!
let you into a secret though - i actually bought a 2 pack clearblue today Stuffed them at back of drawer in bathroom and trying to pretend they arent there!

coggy · 20/01/2007 21:54

LOL at you PCM......I have just done my Tesco order online and ordered two tests myself!!!!!

They are on special offer you know!!!!!

coggy · 20/01/2007 21:59

Why do we do it eh??

They are so hard to resist when you know they are there!!!

Make a pact shall we??

Hi Coggy, you may remember me from the Clomid thread where I did 4 cycles and then did ONE Menopur cycle and timed intercourse and got pregnant with triplets! Had reduction at 12 weeks and cvs for other two who are okay and am now 21 weeks. I wish you loads of luck with this cycle. Believe me injecting yourself is easier than you think. The needle is very small and thin so nothing like say a blood test of which I am sure you have had many during your ttcing. I think I did 3 or 4 injections and on the last one I just thought 'I really want a baby' then stuck it in.

Artoo, best of luck with IVF. Really hope it works for you. Will be watching.

Hugs to you both.

coggy · 20/01/2007 22:12

SKBF....That is amazing that you are 21 weeks already.
How are you feeling?
I am rather hoping that I won't have to have the jabs as I've had a really weird AF this month....but it's probably just wishful thinking.
X

Hey BooBoo.......I have seen your bump!!!
I've just spent ages trying to work out how these profile pages work and I found your dog and your boy.

coggy · 20/01/2007 22:21

Right...three posts in a row really should tell me that I am talking to myself and I need, therefore, to go to bed!!!

A quick summary then of today....
CD........5 or 33
Knicker Patrol.......nothing

OP posts:
ShouldKnowByFriday · 20/01/2007 22:31

Coggy, how many clomid cycles did you do recently? It's good that you have been changed over to injectibles as I was told that if clomid is going to work it works quickly. If not then its on to injectibles which is a stronger preparation. SO please don't dread them, see them as a god send.
Good luck.

BabyMadwithBump · 21/01/2007 02:23

coggy what are you like, you dont do things by half's do you lol...........anyway still very much thinking of you, I read up on you everyday and your Knicker Patrol, so LOL, fingers crossed for you!
MUST GO BED been saying it for the last half hour, thinking of you Babymadxx

pussycatmomma · 21/01/2007 08:33

hiya.......
Just thought i would let you all know that i tested this morning and got a BFN...
Its ridiculous, never have I felt more hopeful or more pregnant and now im obviously not
cd 36 today. No sign of af. But if I was prg it would deffo show up by now, so I guess thats it. Feel so, so disappointed. Also so cross with myself for believing it might be possible when it obviously isn't.
Oh well....................
come on Pusscat, onwards and upwards and all that. Bloody clearblue.
So sorry to have to type this and disapoint you lot as well.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

coggy · 21/01/2007 09:16

LOL at your post PCM.........you must have been weeing on that stick at the same time as I was weeing on mine!

I am not even going to type what I came on here to say because you have just said it all!!!!!!!!!!!!

for us both.

OP posts:
coggy · 21/01/2007 09:18

SKBF...I had 3 cycles of clomid and conceived my ds the month after.
I have recently just had another 4.
I was really positive about the jabs and IUI....all ready to go for it and kindof looking forward to it...until this blinkin' weird AF and then it threw me off kilter again.

I'll be fine again by next month though and probably desperate to have them!!!

I guess I'm CD6 now then???
