Coggy's Catch Up........

coggy · 12/01/2007 19:38

It seems FOREVER ago that I was properly on MN and obssessively ttc!
Only 2 1/2 months ago but alot has happened in that time I expect (no.....sadly no bfp from me yet!!!)
I guess that Debbsy has had her Bibsy and maybe Peachy too......BooBoo next month.....lots of other BFPs??????
Natty, MrsMc and Trace have kept me with some of the news on here.

Here's a quick catch-up with me and what is happening.....
I am CD25 of a usual 26/27 day cycle with all the classic AF signs.....cramps, tiredness, wind etc. etc. (It's nice to be back!! )
I am starting IUI this next cycle so I am only a couple of days away from that and VERY excited and VERY nervous about jabbing myself too!
I figured as well as catching up with my old ttc buddies I could also moan and groan merrily away about it all on this thread and (hopefully) get a little bit of (much needed) sympathy at the same time!!!

I am SUCH a wimp really!!!!
Roll on CD1......

Don't really know if I have proper SPD - just achy pains in the old nether regions. Sort of wildly hoping it will stay mild and not get worse.

SOH - are you really having a 4D scan? Very

Coggy - thanks for your thoughts. My sister did really well at Christmas. It's a really long process, but I think having her daughter helps, as she has to make an effort to get back to "normal" for her.

Sooo cool that you're back.

BabyMadwithBump · 15/01/2007 19:33

Thanks coggy, I don't feel my weeks have flown by, but I'm sure in a few weeks when Im on top of this thyroid thing I will. Due to my thyroid I'm now under consultant rather than MW and the Mw's said at my scan today I'll more than likely have to see the consultant every few weeks and have a scan every few weeks too I'm sure i'll cope with the scan thing ! LOL, DH wants a 4D scan when I'm 24-25 weeks, this baby is going to need I photo album before he/she is even born!

What the blooming heck is happening to me??????????????????????

AF started then went....too much blood for implatation (I'm sure) and too little for AF but probably enough for someone who has a very light AF IYSWIM......

I WANT TO START MY JABS AND I DON'T KNOW WHEN CD1 IS.

I don't want to miss out on this month cos I can't do it next month because of going away and everything is just...AAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

coggy, when I was pg with ds I had quite a heavy bleed at about the time af should have been due, to the extent I thought it was af - it lasted for about 36 hours. It could be possible that it could be an implantation bleed, and if it is, then a pg test could take up to 5 days to show bfp. but don't want to get your hopes up though

pussycatmomma · 16/01/2007 22:28

Hiya Coggy 000waves frantically!0000
sorry not posted on your special thread yet, but here i am, better late than never! was lovely to chat briefly the other night, sorry had to go! Only just skipped briefly through, but i gather you havent started jabbing yet.......how damn frustratingon your behalf.
Let us know what is happening as and when things progress.
Its so lovely to see names on here i havent done for a while.
If anyone reading this remembers me, i have kind of hijacked a thread from someone called becky (sorry becky!) regarding waiting for af, i think we should all have a group prayer/positive vibes session - think we could all do with it at the moment!
will be thinking of you coggs, and wishing you the very best of luck x x xx

coggy · 17/01/2007 10:54

I am witing for the clinic to phone to advise me!
wannaBe....I had implantation bleeding with my ds but it was only a tiny amount.
Intersting to hear that yours was a fair bit.

I know I am probably not pg (freaky chance if I was) but I keep thinking which would be the worse situation......not having my jabs for another month.....or having them and then finding out I could have been pg.
I know which I'll end up choosing but I had phsyced myself up ready to take them....and I'll be cross with myself when I get my usual bfn!!!!!!!!!

Why this month?
Why oh why oh why?????!!!!!!!!

So I have GOT to speak to her!!!!!!
I guess I now have no excuse not to do the housework eh?!

wannaBe.....I have sent you a TMI email....I hope you dh doesn't open it first...sorry!!!!

hi coggy , Nice to see you back >

How frustrating for you to be in this situation, just when you think things are on the move , well good luck for today!

Hi to everyone else aswell!

I am well and got my BFP on the 16th Dec ( im 8+3) Really scared because of previous m/c but had a scan on Tuesday and picked up heartbeat and all as it should so fingers cross this one will stick!

Hopefully your jabs will be tonight! Fingers crossed for you xx

Booboobedoo · 17/01/2007 20:19

Hi coggy! Was spookily thinking about you, then saw your name on Loubie's birth story. Hooray!

Very frustrated on your behalf, and hope you either get a BFP or AF gets a bleedin' move on.

Am excited for you too, though.

DH had 5 injections a week for 18 months, and barely noticed them after a while! Hope you don't find it too bad.

Lovely to 'see' everyone else too!

I'm 33+3 now, and getting excited.

MrsMcJnr · 17/01/2007 21:55

Coggy - thinking about you lots hon!

Great pic Babymad where'd I get me one of them!????!!

bubbly1973 · 17/01/2007 23:32

coggy have you heard anything from the clinic, what did they say?

something similar happened to me when i was about to start my iui, i had bleeding like you describe, and i rang the clinic to arrange to have jabs the next day, but after ringing, my af dissapeared!!

i was all confused and didnt know which was cd1, but as it happened an hour before my appt the next morning af appeared full force and clinic classed that morning as cd1

hope all is cleared up for you and you know where you stand, nothing worse than not knowing whats going on at a time when you are all up for starting the treatment

good luck

coggy · 18/01/2007 11:05

Bubbly.....I know....I was all ready for those jabs as well!!

Only very light spotting yesterday and nothing today yet.
The nurse said that it may be a cyst (?) and that I shouldn't take my jabs as AF may well appear properly in a few days.
DH asked if I was disappointed and I surprisingly wasn't......I guess because she had said no to the jabs then it had taken any decision out of my hands......so there we are......no further forward and, now I guess wait for either AF proper in a few days or until CD1 next month!!!!
Hmmmph! [still need that frustrated emoticon!!]

BooBoo...... so near...........very exciting!!!

Pinky...... fantastic news....glad your scan was exactly as it should be.
X
