It seems FOREVER ago that I was properly on MN and obssessively ttc!
Only 2 1/2 months ago but alot has happened in that time I expect (no.....sadly no bfp from me yet!!!)
I guess that Debbsy has had her Bibsy and maybe Peachy too......BooBoo next month.....lots of other BFPs??????
Natty, MrsMc and Trace have kept me with some of the news on here.

Here's a quick catch-up with me and what is happening.....
I am CD25 of a usual 26/27 day cycle with all the classic AF signs.....cramps, tiredness, wind etc. etc. (It's nice to be back!! )
I am starting IUI this next cycle so I am only a couple of days away from that and VERY excited and VERY nervous about jabbing myself too!
I figured as well as catching up with my old ttc buddies I could also moan and groan merrily away about it all on this thread and (hopefully) get a little bit of (much needed) sympathy at the same time!!!

I am SUCH a wimp really!!!!
Roll on CD1......

Oh Coggy, I'm really sorry to hear this news

I understand your feelings about IVF - when we were told it was our only chance to have our own child it felt very "serious" and kind of "end of the road".

I just hope that your IVF is successful like ours.

Between now and then, take some time for yourself. Pamper yourself a bit, treat yourself.

I'll be looking out for your IVF updates.

Oh Coggy I am so sorry that the IUI hasn't been the triumph I hoped it would be for you.
My fingers are crossed for you with your IVF. It's natural to want to wish the time away to be having another crack at the whip (so to speak) - I hope that you can relax and have a wonderful time in anticipation of the IVF.
All the very best. You deserve all the luck in the world.

Oh Cogs m'lovely. Can I email you? I have your email addy but haven't emailed before now as the original questions I had seemed selfish in light of everything you have been going through. Just want to stay in touch with you while you're awol- won't ask endless questions about the police force I promise.

I can't tell you how much I feel for you. You're such a lovely lady and if conception had anything to do with loveliness then you'd be pregnant ten times over.

Starting IVF in December so I'm excited and scared as after this treatment that's it and I will have to face facts which I am rather scared about having to do.

Hopefully everything will go swimmingly and I won't need to...but I am a realist so need to start (at least trying) to prepare myself.

Hope all my other MN chums are good in their various states of parenthood/ ttc/ nappy changing/ pg etc. etc.

How are you both doing??

My Christmas was lovely thanks.
Enjoyed myself, drank loads and now back at Weight Watchers to shift some post-Christmas bulge!!!!

I have had my IVF letter today - SCARY....but good.
Planning appointment next Thursday and then the big procedure stuff will be at the beginning of Feb.

Ooooh.....it's all getting really real now isn't it??!!!

Very excited about your IVF. It doesn't get more hands-on, roll-yer-sleeves-up than that!

Jonny is 9 and a half months now, and a total angel. .

I seemed to be so far ahead of you SOL, and there's hardly any difference now!

Will be keeping a close, ourky eye on this thread...

If this doesn't work then the decision will be made for us I guess.

We were booked in for an adoption meeting at the beginning of Feb but now it looks like the IVF will clash. Hope that's a good omen!!
(Not that I believe in them...but y'know!! )

I will let you all know what is happening as I don't want to tell too many people in RL in case it doesn't work and I'll have to go round telling everyone it hasn't worked IYSWIM.

On here I only have to say it once (or maybe three times as I seem to be on three different threads at the moment!!! ) so that's not so bad.

Here's hoping it will be fabulous news and I can post it a MIILION ZILLION times if I want to!!!!!

It must be a good omen. I had an appt booked for further tests when we were trying to conceive (had not had any treatment it was just taking a long time) and I fell pregnant a few weeks before the appt was due. Really hope it happens for you, I cannot imagine the amount of faces we will get on here if it does.

My friend and her dh had picked up the leaflets etc re IVF as they had been ttc for 5 years. Lo and behold she fell pg naturally!

God I want this more than anything for you Coggy. xx

Thanks Boo.....feel decidedly normal...no bloating or anything like I was expecting?

Tomorrow will tell though....I have a scan to see how many of the little blighters I have managed to grow!!!

LOL! I'm here.
A bit disappointed really as I only had 6 follicles (the average is between 10 and 20)but I guess quality is far more important then quantity so let's hope that they are good ones eh?!

Had a re-scan today and my six are still a bit on the small side....so another scan on Weds and then hopefully all systems go on Friday.

There....that saved you from hunting me down didn't it??!!
