Coggy's Catch Up........

It seems FOREVER ago that I was properly on MN and obssessively ttc!
Only 2 1/2 months ago but alot has happened in that time I expect (no.....sadly no bfp from me yet!!!)
I guess that Debbsy has had her Bibsy and maybe Peachy too......BooBoo next month.....lots of other BFPs??????
Natty, MrsMc and Trace have kept me with some of the news on here.

Here's a quick catch-up with me and what is happening.....
I am CD25 of a usual 26/27 day cycle with all the classic AF signs.....cramps, tiredness, wind etc. etc. (It's nice to be back!! )
I am starting IUI this next cycle so I am only a couple of days away from that and VERY excited and VERY nervous about jabbing myself too!
I figured as well as catching up with my old ttc buddies I could also moan and groan merrily away about it all on this thread and (hopefully) get a little bit of (much needed) sympathy at the same time!!!

I am SUCH a wimp really!!!!
Roll on CD1......

coggy!!! I'm sorry to keep bombarding you with alternative remedies but I really think this is worth looking into - Tui na massage. My friend who is a nurse told me about it. She know's a practitioner who works at a fertility clinic and he has had many successes with people ttc and women with gynaecological disorders.
Tui na massage is Chinese and they have been using it for donkeys years to sort out fertility etc.
My friend's colleague works in Newcastle and York but he may know other practitioners around the country.

I have decided to go to a (very good) local reiki practitioner...let's see if he can unblock me!!!!!

I was going to say let's see if he can get me pg.....but like dear old SOH...I don't think my dh would be very understanding either!!!!

I'm in full flow this evening I'm afraid.....got a nice large glass of red wine going....my treadmill arriving on Thursday....my dh worried that I am never going to use it!!!!....and a reiki massage - energy channel unblocker-type-massage thingy to book up tomorrow.

Plenty to cheer me up and occupy my mind this month eh?!

Oh Coggy, what a pita. My af returned today since K was born, and I feel awful.

Enjoy the wine, and will check in again soon.

Very impressed at running machine btw - my exercise consists of walking to the fridge....

On second thoughts - can I come over for a go on the machine?! lol!

I am going to have to SERIOUSLY use it EVERY day.....I think I have ordered a MASSIVE one too...it was on special so probably going to take up the whole house!!!!!

At least it'll give me something else to focus on...and work off that wine and mahoosive bar of chocolate of course!!!!!!

SOL.....it's SO nice not having AF for all that time isn't it??!

Thanks Peachy....deciding today that it is NEVER going to happen and that maybe DS was our only child....rather a depressing thought and I dearly hope that it isn't true....but need to consider it more and more each month as yet another AF rears her ugly head!

Only one more IUI attempt.....boo hoo...........things are running out........

Cogs ? remember I had that weird/fab Reiki session in November ? it really felt like something changed (she said she felt a blockage). Best of luck with it. You could have had my cross trainer Cogs, it makes me feel guilty everyday and I?ve only used it a handful of times ? will use it one day, promise!! I am so sorry this month wasn?t your lucky one, so hope that next cycle is xx

Coggy - nothing's running out. Even if you have all the IUI's etc. I really believe there is a child waiting in the wings for you and all you need is to "let it in" which is where the Reiki etc will help. I truly believe in more than just this physical existence and all the conventional medical/scientific bollocks that goes with it. We are all spirit before we are matter and any obstacle can be overcome.
Fill a nice hot bath, light some candles, make it special and ask the intelligence of the universe that made you to open you up and erase all the blockages and invite your child in.
Guilt is a big blocker. Have a really good honest look in yourself and if you've got any guilty, negative feelings around motherhood let them all go.
Also feeling you dont deserve it etc let them go too.
I don't even know you but you seem like such a lovely person and when you are pregnant again I'll be cracking open a bottle of champagne. Lots and lots of love to you. xxx

So very sorry Coggy......(((hugs)) from me.
I can empathise with you so much over this, I am seeing it all unfolding first hand with my sister. I know you will both hold your babies one day...i feel so for you both. If you do need further treatment, are you going for ivf next time?
My sister had some tests done in America, only to find she has "raised natural killer cells" which means more drugs next ivf (if there will be a next). She too like yourself is starting to lose hope.
Coggy I sincerely wish you all the best with whatever happens, and will be watching out on mn for your news.

Coggy, I am so sorry to read about how down you are feeling, and the fact you feel that things may never happen for you.

Gosh...I haven't been on here for AGES!!!
Nothing much is happening....CD15...waiting for this cycle to come and go so I can start my next (and last) cycle of IUI.

The rekei session was very interesting!
He said a lot of things that could have been perfectly true but I am rather a sceptic and wished that I hadn't said anything about my past to see if he would still have said the same things!

I'm going back for another session soon though.....so we will see.
