Coggy's Catch Up........

It seems FOREVER ago that I was properly on MN and obssessively ttc!
Only 2 1/2 months ago but alot has happened in that time I expect (no.....sadly no bfp from me yet!!!)
I guess that Debbsy has had her Bibsy and maybe Peachy too......BooBoo next month.....lots of other BFPs??????
Natty, MrsMc and Trace have kept me with some of the news on here.

Here's a quick catch-up with me and what is happening.....
I am CD25 of a usual 26/27 day cycle with all the classic AF signs.....cramps, tiredness, wind etc. etc. (It's nice to be back!! )
I am starting IUI this next cycle so I am only a couple of days away from that and VERY excited and VERY nervous about jabbing myself too!
I figured as well as catching up with my old ttc buddies I could also moan and groan merrily away about it all on this thread and (hopefully) get a little bit of (much needed) sympathy at the same time!!!

I am SUCH a wimp really!!!!
Roll on CD1......

Boo cogs.

Maybe buy some blue cheese, pate and loads of red wine. Treat each cycle like it's your last!

Thanks coggy and everyone for the kind thoughts. The ICSI went very well - I have 2 embies inside at the moment, and another 6 in the freezer, so I'm currently quite relaxed and know that if these 2 embies don't make it we have a couple more tries before I have to go through all the injections again.

The 2ww seems to be going quite quickly at the moment, will be testing on Thursday

Soooo weird how we both had funny ones this month isn't it?
Mine never came properly but still a neg test a week later so I guess that was it.
VERY mean to go squewbald just the month I needed to be sure!!!

Waiting now for NEXT AF so that I can start the wretched jabs!!!
This month could also be a hiccup though as we are booked to go away for a long weekend and, at the moment, the dates clash with when I should have my scan!!! AAArrrrggh!

We booked this weekend away because February was supposed to be my resting month inbetween IUI treatments!!!!

Oh well......maybe have to wait til March then!!
Or lots of hard praying that my AF is a day or two late and we can still go ahead!

Right.......that month went fast!
AF is trying to start today....so...as long as it doesn't come in full flow until after 3pm (and as long as it isn't a stupiud weird one like last months ) I'll be starting on my jabs and IUI this month.....HURRAH!!!!!

Only a month later than expected but I very nearly missed out this month as well beacause we are going on holiday at what could have been the crucial time.
If AF doesn't come properly until later today or tomorrow I'll be back the day before I need to be...phew!

I NEVER do things the easy way!!!!

I am just praying that this AF is not a farting around one like last month.....it is worryingly starting the same!!!

I thought that it would be really heavy and painful as there was hardly anything last month.........Fancy wishing to have a heavy and painful Af.......ttc makes you weird doesn't it??!!

Hmm, yes it's the ttc that makes us weird...

I hope that it isn't buggering about for you too. It's typical isn't it, gear yourself up for something, accept that you're going down a certain fertility route and your body decides to do its own thing entirely?

I'm fine, the jig has about done for me though. I need to lie down and drink earl grey tea. Maybe eat a gingerbread man. Mathilda (the small person doing backflips in my uterus) is 97% gingerbread by my reckoning. In fact last time the midwife felt my abdomen she exclaimed 'ooh she is a big strong girl isn't she'. Yup. Mathilda means 'mighty in battle' dontcha know which is a subtle euphemism for 'tank'. A tank which in approximately 13 weeks I will have to manoeuvre through my area. Oh the carnage and bloodshed...

Sorry took the battle analogy a bit far there didn't I?

Keep us updated on things. For the second time in as many months I'm hoping that af has turned up properly. Roll on the baby making process. Keeping everything crossed for you.xxxxx

I was convinced that my ds would be hyper-active because of all the gallons of fizzy pop I just HAD to have!!!!

....things AF-wise are very reminiscent (sp?) of last month.
It has disappeared again and is beginning to make me rather peeved!
I am trying not to get annoyed.............it may flood in the night!!!!

We'll see!

My sister has been having more ivf recently, and she is now on her 2ww, should be testing towards 23 -24 feb i think. Lets hope this is a wonderful month for both of you. Will be keeping everything crossed and sending lots of good karma and positive vibes your way.
My appt for hospital has been moved forwards after a gp's letter, to 15th March - Hurray! Hellloooooooo soh!!! lovely to hear from you and Mathilda . I love that name...

The EXACT smae thing happened yesterday as last month which is weird cos it's never come and gone before....I was just beginning to lose hope as nothing had happened this morning either but AF has decided to grace me with a slightly heavier appearance this afternoon.....so I am going for it!!!!
