Ttc while breastfeeding 17month and had a chemical pregnancy last month??

Hi, I am a newbie but I am really hoping someone out there will have some advice for me or has something similar??

I am ttc number 3, I am still breastfeeding my 17 month old. He feeds going to sleep, if he wakes just for a couple of seconds and then usually when he wakes. Last month I got a faint line on a few pregnancy tests and fell pregnant for a few days, my period was late. But then it arrived 4 days later so from what I have read it was an early miscarriage or a chemical pregnancy.

I am hoping it will happen this month instead, anyone have any advice??

I got my BFP in February whilst still breast feeding my 21 month old who had a feed when he woke in the morning and a feed when he woke from his afternoon nap.

I miscarried two weeks after my initial BFP and one of the many questions I asked myself was, "Did it happen because I'm still breast feeding?"

But then I remind myself of the 1'000s of women who have successful pregnancies whilst breast feeding and accept that I was just unlucky.

The best of luck this month. Me and DH are also going to start TTC again this month.

Thank you for your reply writer, I am so sorry to hear you have been through a miscarriage too . It's just heart breaking. I have read that it is because our progesterone levels might not be as high, I have been taking supplements to try and combat this. Hopefully this month will be our month

Please anyone else out there that can even give me positive stories about conceiving while breastfeeding???
