pop you normally get bloods done on day 21 to see if you have ovulated or 7 days after ovulation. If you ovulate later than day 14 then day 21s won't be accurate

Hi everyone. Nothing to report here really, on day 10 today, finished my clomid on day 6. Clearblue digital ovulation test read low yesterday, but high today, so hopefully i'll get my peak reading in a few days.

I'm on a 3 day detox Hmm started it today. I have a stone and 3lbs to lose and i'm hoping this will kick start the loss, then i'll follow weightwatchers. I get 3 juices a day and a soup for evening meal. Help me!!!!

I'm so sorry to hear that most of you are feeling fed up and frustrated. Big hug to all of our posters on here. Xx

Poptart21 · 24/05/2016 12:38

Shellbell0403 thank you for all of your advice Smile The nurse told me today to just come in for a scan when I'm back, so I'll see how that goes :) feeling hopeful as two follicles have grown quite a bit since my scan last week Smile

VillageFete loving these positive vibes of yours. Are you using the advanced OPK of ClearBlue? I have the "smile"/"no face" one. I also bought some simple card strips from Amazon that just show a control line and another pink line if you are ovulating. Is it necessary to use the fancey ones or are these basic ones okay too?
Xx

Shellbell0403 · 24/05/2016 12:47

village hope you have started dtd haha! Do you find the opks are true with you? I use the amazon ones sometimes but haven't done any recently. Might do some over next few days

Hi pop are you on clomid too?

I'm using the cleablue advanced digital monitor. I hate it!! There's been a couple of times it's never picked up on a peak, even though a blood test has confirmed that I have, leaving me stressed & worried. I'll keep using it because it's there, but the hospital recommend the clearblue one that either gives a plain circle or a smiley face. Bought that too and had the plain circle today.

VillageFete · 24/05/2016 13:04

Shell Hi! How was your lining? Hopefully the clomid hasn't thinned it at all? No, they aren't always accurate. Sometimes they don't pick up on me ov'ing, yet blood tests say I do. I'm hoping because I ov'd last month on clomid, that means i'll ov this month too? I won't know you see as not getting any more scans.

Shellbell0403 · 24/05/2016 15:11

village clomid helps to encourage ovulation so I'm guessing you will have! I'm on Letrozole which doesn't seem to have an effect on lining, mine was above 7 xx

Day 3 of clomid omg my mood is awful. I feel pure venom towards everyone I encounter surely this isn't normal ?

Shellbell0403 · 24/05/2016 18:48

Fluffyseagull · 24/05/2016 19:16

In the evening god im being a psycho! Tell me I'm not the only one !

Shellbell0403 · 24/05/2016 19:45

fluffy ehm I don't have any problems with mine. I take mine just before I go to bed. Not sure if anyone else has any issues. Welcome aboard the group

OP posts:
IsItIorAreTheOthersCrazy · 24/05/2016 20:51

Shell I hope you're dtd!! So glad ov has happened for you - fingers crossed Smile

Fluffy don't worry, I had it too. Was strangley worse on 100mg than it was on 150mg Hmm If it helps, I had a day on it when my team annoyed me so much in work (by asking questions, just as they're supposed to) that I just walked off for 20 mins and had a rant to a friend. Then had a huge blow up at DH (because he hadn't made the bed IIRC) which resulted in me shouting about him being disrespectful and me feeling like a maid Blush And then calmly turning around 20 minutes later and telling him we needed to dtd! Honesty, it had mad effects on me. Best thing I did was explain it all to DH and come to an agreement where he basically gave me lots of leeway and support and I went for walks when it felt too much. You have my sympathy though because it's bloody awful.

For me, I have nothing to report. Left DH in charge of tea as I worked late and he ordered in pizza. Oh and I have thrush which is so uncomfortable. Im wearing granny pants under my pjs. I'm telling you, I am so attractive over here! Grin

Shellbell0403 · 24/05/2016 21:05

isit where are you on your cycle?!!!!
Ohhh pizza!! Haha...
DH is out tonight 😠 but dtd yesterday and sat, Iv read if do on the day it doesn't make much difference, oh well be better move his assistant home!!!

Not had dinner, starving! Lol

I'm on cd44 shell and I have no idea what's happening. I'm just running out of metformin again but am going to have to stop as I'm on holiday next week and can't take them with me I don't think.
My plan is to go all guns blazing with met, supplements, diet etc when I get back and just accept that my cycles are going to be long and crap for a while.
No clomid until I've lost more weight

I think you need to eat without your DH if he still isn't home - I'd be starving to death by now greedy

Shellbell0403 · 24/05/2016 22:05

Have you done a test isit that's sometimes a symptom.. aww holibags! Lucky you, wish it was me! Where you off to?xx

VillageFete · 25/05/2016 08:57

fluffy You are not alone!! I'm psycho bitch from hell during the 5 days of clomid taking. I'm horrible.

Shell Did you get a positive opk? Keep dtd!!

I'm on day 11 but we haven't dtd yet, will start tonight. I was far too sick last night. This 3 day detox & cleanse is making me feel awful. Really must dtd tonight & then I was thinking every other day for the foreseeable? We done it almost every day for 10 days in the last cycle and for 1; it didn't work and 2; we were shattered.

Shellbell0403 · 25/05/2016 10:11

village i had a negative opks but EWCM, I don't trust opks because they don't really work for us amazing ladies. Got hospital for scan today so will see what they say.
They say to dtd every two/three days up until ovulation, if do every day it doesn't give fresh and up for it sperm supposedly lol

OP posts:
IsItIorAreTheOthersCrazy · 25/05/2016 11:31

Shell I'm going to test in the next few days as I want to start taking evening primrose oil and that's apparently bad after ov and if you're pregnant. I don't think I am though, I don't feel any real symptoms of anything at the minute.
For my holiday, we are off to Canada for 2 weeks! It's on the bucket list and we both need something to look forward to, and we have the perfect excuse in a family wedding to attend there Smile

Village I really feel for you on your detox. I have been cutting certain things out a bit at a time and it's miserable (fizzy drinks was the worst). Hopefully if you ride it out your body will kickstart losing weight.
Definately dtd - my specialist said every other day was more beneficial than everyday because DH had chance to make more / better sperm and it was more likely that we could maintain that rather than dtd everyday, get tired and miss a day or so then miss ov. Fingers crossed for you!!

IsItIorAreTheOthersCrazy · 25/05/2016 11:32

Oh and I don't trust OPKs either. I've never had a positive one, despite bloods confirming ov on several occasions on clomid Hmm

Shellbell0403 · 25/05/2016 16:01

Well lining was 7.6 today (woohoo!) and follicle was 2.7, nurse said she thinks I defo ovulated yesterday so bloods next week! She said Iv got a cyst on my right side though also...

OP posts:
Fluffyseagull · 25/05/2016 20:35

Shell that seems mainly postive! Is the cyst not pcos?
On clomid has anyone else had intermittent shooting pains to ovaries ? Not painful as such just a sensation. I'm thinking this is good?

Poptart21 · 26/05/2016 08:27

IsItIorAreTheOthersCrazy Enjoy your trip! I'm from Canada and sure hope that you enjoy it. Where a outs are you going? Of course, I am biased but it is such a relaxing place!

Shell defo sounds positive! Is the cyst on the same side as the follicle that you are talking about? It may not have any impact at all.

Fluffy I haven't had those sensations while taking Clomid but I have had them near/during ovulation.

I'm going in for a scan today (cd13) to see if my follicles have grown. I had one that was 13 and another that was 11 on cd11. Fingers crossed!

IsItIorAreTheOthersCrazy · 26/05/2016 14:40

Poptart how did the scan go? I hope you had good news!
Which part of Canada are you from? We're going to Nova Scotia then over to Toronto (a week in each). I'm very excited about it!

Shellbell0403 · 26/05/2016 15:51

pop where are you at the moment? You seem to be the only one like me getting scanned every two days
