Sucha- my name isn't on that list either Hmm

Russkispy · 13/05/2016 13:25

Stopped pills 2-3 years ago.
As for potential tummy bug- we were in Zurich at that time and ate same dinner, I got up and straight away diarrhoea and vommited. Both runny (sorry tmi!) and we had spaghetti bolognese! By lunch I was fetting better! That's all strange to me! My tummy is usually cast iron! I've worked in Iraq for 4 years and never had tummy issues! Or food poisoning! Was walking earlier and felt light headed which is also unusual for me!
Footprints - cd42 and still nothing?!
Hope I'll know soon!

Tee4me · 13/05/2016 14:24

Jodders sounds like you've got bases well and truly covered! Think I remember you saying DH is around more from the weekend, perfect timing!
Jem I'm not on the list either! Envy
The 2ww is draaaaaging! I won't be excited either unless something really distinctive happens.
Welcome Russ, hope you find answers soon, it certainly does sound like pg, maybe you're one of those that don't get BFP until further along... FX

Footprints - it says women getting pregnant in 2017 so think this must mean we're on the list for this year Smile

Tee4me · 13/05/2016 14:27

Footprints I hope today has been brighter for you. Can't imagine how you're feeling with things dragging out so much. Really hope you get an answer soon, must be at the end of your tether... it'll all be worth it in the end Flowers xx

Well 14 dpo here and I had a bit of spotting this am, but nothing since. Huge temp drop to 36.10 (see I am cold-blooded, as soon as it gets cold again and bam!).

So onwards and upwards!

raddersmrs · 13/05/2016 17:56

CD21 - 7dpo

Hello everybody!
Not much to report today. Still have creamy CM - it's gone more thick and creamy now rather than crumbly looking.

Still have dull AF type cramps

Just want to be at a stage to test now. Humph.

Russ sounds like got to keep waiting it out and see. Some people don't show BfP for a while.

Russkispy · 13/05/2016 18:16

Thanks Radders. Waiting for a miracle happen. Fingers and toes are crossed!
Safe to do poas at least a week after supposed AF. Somehow feeling a bit sick just now. The last 2 weeks have been like a rocket science, experiencing all sorts of symptoms I've never had before when knowing AF arriving every month. But since last month, and our first TTC, everything has changed. Woman's body is truly a minefield 😄

Nimisha · 13/05/2016 18:28

CD 13 Star positive opk on CD 16 last cycle. Dtd CD 7, 9, 11 and plan to tonight and over the weekend. Some Ewcm today but it was yellowish?? (TMI). I am taking vitamin c though.

That's great timing Jod with Dh being home.

Physics it's funny but my temp never drops until a couple of days into AF do I never get any warning. Hope you're not feeling too downhearted.

Jem I'm not in the list but I'm expecting number 3. I was 29 when I had my first though.

Head anyone picked out baby names? One of my friends used my baby girl name. Well I can't blame her. I said she could, we hadn't properly decided to go for number three so I couldn't exactly say, if I have another baby and if it's a girl I want this name so you can't have it!

How go people do OPKs?my internet cheapy ones say to leave 20 mins for the sample to get to room temperature before dipping. Does everyone do that?

raddersmrs · 13/05/2016 19:52

Never heard of that nim about 20 minutes ... Mine are in a drawer so at room temperature anyway?

Yea we've spoken about names
Harvey for a boy and at the moment Scarlett for a girl. But the girl name always changes a bit.

Symptom now - bloating!
Reason - too many carbs today ... Went out for a cheeky pub lunch.

Physics still chance for you ... No AF yet!

Footprints1 · 13/05/2016 20:24

I like Rosie for a girl, and Thomas for a boy.

Scarlett is also on my list of names!

Strange q, but has anyone else had strange smelling urine! It's almost like an asparagus smell. I thought was a one off yesterday but today every time I go I can smell it. Would it be all the vitamins?

Jodders · 13/05/2016 20:32

I had strange smelling urine last month footprints. I think I posted about it too. Alas it wasn't a symptom of PG for me but I read it can be.

Tee4me · 13/05/2016 20:50

Snap! Rosie is my girls name Footprints!!! Both me & DH agreed on that when I was pregnant with DC#1. This time round would be Jesse for a boy (if DH agrees!)
Never heard of leaving the wee for 20mins before testing... I couldn't leave it hanging about in the bathroom for that long. I spose you'd have to hide it in a cupboard and come back to it? I actually can't wait to be pregnant so I can finally stop worrying about all these TTC rules to follow! Was a bit of a novelty at first, but cycle 6 in and I'm sick of the sight of opks and thermometers Hmm x

Quick advice ladies...
AF heads away on Monday next week, but I'm away for work till Friday which means no Dtd till then! Will this affect me for the month? What are your thoughts? I know you don't have a crystal ball but was wondering??

Footprints1 · 13/05/2016 21:32

Ha ha.. Tee Great we like the same name. I've always liked it.

Jodders- did it smell the whole month last time or just after ov? It's weird as I didn't notice until recently. Haven't eaten anything to make it smell I don't think?

Symptom spotting still...no AF yet??? AF cramps disappeared today - none at all! Cm slightly creamy/sticky not much of it. Smelly urine! & Backache.
DH poured me a glass of prosecco tonight, don't know if it's because I felt uncomfortable drinking it (as still don't know what is going on until AF shows) or if I genuinely felt a bit queasy! Had to leave it. Still not myself. Decreased appetite still - only had bowl of yoghurt with berries for breakfast, pineapple kiwi and Brazil nuts for lunch and a salad for dinner. Not hungry at all.

Anyone else lost their appetite? physics?

Nim- no I just Poas straight into toilet - I don't leave it for 20 mins. Occasionally I pee in a jar for FMU if I get up early.

Question for u all- did u all get positive opk the day u ovulated / day of temp spike or before ? And does your temp dip down before ov? Trying to work out if a possibility I ovulated few days after I thought?

Tee4me · 13/05/2016 21:33

Do you know what CD you usually ovulate Summer? You're CD3 today I think, so it'll still only be CD10 when you return. If you can DTD before you leave for your trip I think that would be a good idea (so his swimmers aren't too stale by the time you return). Either that or encourage him to, ahem, relieve himself in your absence. Then get on the case from next weekend? Reckon you'd get a few days of DTD before egg makes an appearance? I don't usually ovulate until CD13/14.

OP posts:
raddersmrs · 13/05/2016 21:34

Summer I wouldn't say so no .... Just do it when you get back to freshen up the swimmers

Omg how embarrassing ... I didn't realise you meant the wee Blushleaving the wee to room temperature. I wondered how the sticks wouldn't be at room temperature! I don't leave my wee either

Footprints1 · 13/05/2016 21:34

summer - dependswhen do U usually ovulate? And how many cd will u be when you are back ?

raddersmrs · 13/05/2016 21:37

Footprints I got my positive opk on Thursday and had a temp drop on Friday evening and was elevated on Saturday morning so I ovulated the day after in the evening I think.
I got my positive opk about 2pm Thursday

I've not noticed any smelly pee but I will take more note next time!

Footprints1 · 13/05/2016 21:40

I'm getting back on the case too incase I didn't ovulate at all and body will try again and all his swimmers will be swimming the wrong way Wink

Tee4me · 13/05/2016 21:40

Footprints this cycle went a bit pear shaped with temps, think because I was away, but previous cycles have been quite predictable... Positive opk CD12, ovulate CD13, temp spike CD14 (or everything 1 day later than that) x

OP posts:
Summerblush1982 · 13/05/2016 21:55

Thanks lovely ladies. Yes cd3 today :-) I think usually ovulate around cd14. I used the opks first time last month so will be using them again!! Think may try to get a sesh in Monday morning if I have the energy!! #sigh
Cd10 when I get back.

physicskate · 13/05/2016 22:20

No more spotting and expecting AF to show in the morning. Not a lot happening here... Just tired. Oh so tired. But it's the end of an exciting week. I'm ok with everything, just keen for cycle 2!! Thanks for checking up on miserable me though nimisha.

Debating whether to use some EPO next cycle (already have some as was recommended to help my previously outrageous AF).

Footprints try to keep your strength up! That doesn't sound like enough calories. I heard that AF generally burns at least 500 calories (which explains why a lot of women get very hungry before and during). Also a change of eating habits could affect AF... only in the extreme of course.

Jodders · 13/05/2016 22:32

Girls I didn't get time to do my OPK today!! Eeekkkkk that's bad right?!

Footprints it went smelly and I had backache too and then I started to spot a bit (I thought it was implantation but looking back it was a really light AF)
