Period very late but testing negative

Currently trying to conceive our first child. I had my coil removed a few months ago and my periods settled into a 25 day cycle. Currently on day 36 of this cycle and no sign of AF (I've felt kinda pre-crampy and have been delightfully spotty for pretty much the whole time). However I'm still testing negative (three different tests). Do I give up and assume my period is on the way? The testing is incredibly frustrating and I'm just at a loss at this point.

Period arrived. Typical.

I'm going to sob into a very large glass of wine.

I'm so sorry. Hope you enjoyed your wine. I had a faint positive on Thursday morning. 1am Friday morning I started AF. Think it was a chemical pg. I was on day 35 when the witch arrived. My longest cycle ever. I was gutted.

Hope you feel better soon. Flowers

Thank you. Husband keeps pointing out we can try again next month, but I'm surrounded by babies and pregnant women (2 newborns and four announcements this month) and I'd convinced myself I must be pregnant at eleven days late. I need to take a man-up pill and pull myself together. No one died.
