i am late .. i am never late

Hi ladies
I am on cd 29 today cycle is 27 or 28 days long . I tested yesterday with clearblue plus and it was negative so the logical side of me says i am not pregnant but i cant help but hope :(
My question is "is it really that common to be late and not get a positive test ?"
I tested in the afternoon and did not test again .
Can stress affect tour period ? I ve been stressing cause we are in the process of buying our first house so i am thinking maybe is that

It's horrible being in limbo like that. Stress can delay ovulation which will obviously delay your period. It's also not unusual for women to have the occasional anovulatory cycle. Give it a few days and if AF still hasn't arrived, test again.

Sorry you're in limbo! The only time I have ever been more than a day late is if I've been poorly or stressed so that could be it!

Stress is a bugger for delaying AF but those CB ones didn't show up as positive for me until 2 or 3 days late as they tend not to be as sensitive as others so it may just be a bit early for the CB's. Can you get a First Response and test again in a couple of days?

Turns out it was just stressed just started spotting now at work trying to keep it together .
I've only been trc for 3 months and this dissapointment every month is just so frustrating i dont know how can people keep trying for so long

Any possibility it could be implantation bleeding? If not then cd1 and you're back on the May bus with the rest of us my dear! I'm 8 days into cycle 4 so you're a few days behind me. Try not to stress, I know easier said than done

Also, make sure you have either (or all!) and/or available this evening. My usual routine at the beginning of a new cycle

Ooo snap nicky, I'm TTC #no 1 too so know exactly what you mean! It is frustrating, very frustrating but we will get there!

I will be all fine and positive tomorrow i am always a grampy bitch on cd1 :p god help dh tonight !

Spotting isn't an out :) Hang in there for a few more days and test again. I ovulated late and didn't get a BFP until 7 days after my missed period.

Bertie i feel quite strong cramps at the moment so i think i am about to get a full flow in a while ;p lost any kind of hope anw oh well next month again ..

Ah okay, sorry! Fingers crossed next month is the one.
