Hey Lou. I have two apps- ovia and glow. Glow says AF is due Saturday and ovia says Tuesday! Like you both say different ovulation dates so I have no idea when to test! I think I'm going to go with my longest cycle so far (47 days) and test 14 days before that cycle would be due. If the witch doesn't arrive by then!

Saying that had ewcm again today and feel like I may be ov but felt like that on cd14!!!

Hi all, just checking back in after a few days away and it looks like there's been lots going on, will try and catch up!

Was hoping the break may have encouraged things along, but haven't felt any differently, no other signs and symptoms apart from an absent af! So good to get away though, different focus :)

AC has arrived at my parents so I am going to bob round and collect it, bit nervous about taking it, but it can't do any harm can it? Blood tests a few weeks ago all came back in the normal range, so this can only help?! xx

I've been using ovia which I have found helpful for recording things. The ovulation date was way off for me as I didn't until cd23 first month off the pill but confirmed it with opks. Hopefully will be easier to predict once it settles back into a pattern. I am taking Angus castus this month so hopefully will ovulate earlier and not have such a ridiculously short luteal period!

Hey johno, it's just so frustrating isn't it. I have ovia, my days and kindara. Ovia is telling me I am late and I need to test but the others say I'm not due till this weekend or until 10th may. As long as you test 14 days after you ovd surely a test should come back with pregnant/not pregnant right? So I should, in theory, test next Tuesday?

My BB's are hurting even more now and feel bruised and uncomfortable! Don't know what to think anymore lol xx

I have Ovia and Fertility Friend & both are telling me different fertile periods etc too. I've tried to temp this month but I only remembered to start about a week ago and forget to do it as soon as I wake up so not sure how reliable the readings will be.

God only knows if I've ov'd yet or when AF is due. I've stopped caring this month as I'm knackered from work so not DTD anymore

Hope all is well! Sorry I've not been on a lot recently I've been so busy at work and also I'm bloody shattered!

Nothing new with me I still poas every other day to check I'm still pregnant haha I also did a opk stick last night and the test line was almost black with darkness! I'm so looking forward to seeing the midwife Friday then I'm on holiday in 2 weeks since finding out this has been the longest 2 weeks of my life and the most worrying!

Cookie how many dpo are you now babe? Bet it's so long to wait! When are you testing?

On a positive note after me ringing clear blue and complaining about a faulty opk digital reader they apparently sent me a new one and some sticks. It didn't arrive so rang them and they sent one recorded with ten sticks. Low and behold, guess what turned up today- the original parcel. But says "airmail" on it- pretty sure they're based in Bedfordshire?!?! Result either way I can flashy smiley myself all the way to AF and beyond! Think I'm on about day 16 of flashing bloody smiley. Doing just for the principal.

As for temping. I have been religious with it every morning. The only time I've been able to make sense of it was when I was ill with flu and it spiked over 38. Other than that it makes no bloody sense to me whatsoever?! I'll attach a pic to see if any of you clever beans have an idea

Hi jonho. Good score with the opks!! I would say download fertility friend, it's free, and transfer your temps across to there... I found ovia rubbish for temping. Fertility friend records it more to the decimal point and draws a cover line so that it pinpoints when you have ovulated. You need to put your cm record in it too. It looks like you might have ovulated day 17 based in temp rise but difficult to tell from the chart.

Chapman, glad to hear it's all going well. I'm 8 weeks today. Ran out of ics a week ago so finally stopped the pregnancy tests.. They were starting to get lighter due to the hook effect, unless I diluted the urine then they were super dark again.. So it's quite nice not torturing myself with them now. Iv been sick about 4 times this week. Only once a day and usually out of nowhere. I don't feel sick all day which is a relief.

Loulabelle, ridiculous and jonho the apps all work on formulas based on regular 28 day cycles initially. Once you have put in a few cycles data they adapt to give you predictions based on average cycle, or last cycle ( they are all different hence different ov date etc) the predictions only work if you have regular cycles. The best think you can do if you have irregular cycles is opks and temping to confirm ov. It's the only way I was able to pinpoint ov, and my cycles were crazy, from 29-98 days... And I could always pinpoint ov that way so I knew when to test/expect AF... Stopped me going crazy (a little bit). X

Hey sunny. Which opk's did you use? Your crazy cycle lengths make mine look normal, can't imagine how many Preggo tests you did on that mammoth 90+ cycle!

Clearly the CB digital one is mocking me. I tried the Internet cheapies before (with the green bit on them) but never got a positive opk. Don't know if that was due to my body still sorting itself out after the pill. Have decided I'm definitely spending money on the digital ones next month.

Cd 31 so have almost hit my shorted cycle length to date.

I just used the cheaply Internet ones, green handle (had some pink handle ones that were rubbish) I didn't get a positive for ages by they did work eventually. I just couldn't afford to do the expensive ones every day for 2 months. The expensive ones are good if you have regular cycles and only need to do a few xx

I think I'll definitely do OPK's next cycle. I did buy them and started using them then I stopped but I'll have to start again once I have my next period. Whenever that may be.

Only symptoms I have at the mo is really really sore boobs for over a week. They've gradually got worse . I usually have sore breasts before AF is due but never for this long and never this painful so I don't know what to think anymore haha xx

Morning all, I've been MIA for the past week with the AF from hell!
So glad that's over with so I can start using my OPK's to work out if/when I'm ovulating! Ovia app predicts I will ovulate on Monday so I thought I could do OPK's on Mon/Wed/Fri next week- Do you think that will be enough to catch it?

Sunny, how is Vom Watch going? Hope you aren't too sick lovely! I just can't stand feeling nauseous. I can put up with anything- sore head, sore stomach etc but I feel sick I just turn into a wimp!! Chapman, how far along are you now lovely? You'll be looking forward to tomorrow!! I bet it's been a hell of a long week for you! Hoping everything goes well (which it totally will!). I'm 4dpo Mrs, so still at the start of my wait, argh!! Probably will cave in and test at 10dpo with a FRER to be honest, not gonna lie and say I'll wait haha!

Loula, I think your symptoms sound promising. You should totally test! Do you have any ICs about??

Johno, I used the digital OPKs for months and have now binned them. They were giving me a static smiley on multiple days of my cycle. Stick with the cheapy ones. The perseverance will pay off and it also won't cost as much!

Well 4dpo and zero zilch nada symptoms! I know it would be far too early but I do enjoy imaginary symptom spotting lol. I have felt very hungry today tho and windy since ov! No CM to report or anything. I hate this wait, waah!! Xx

Fx for you cookie . It's so bad how we symptom spot isn't it! Another thing I noticed is the small like spots on my boobs seem to be yellow and bigger! Not sure if I am imagining it but apparently this is also common!

I have an FRER at home but I'm staying at my mums tonight and I don't want to test too easy and get a BFN. AF supposedly isn't due until 10th May but do you think I can test 14 days after ov occurred? Which will be Tuesday coming! xxx

Yea definitely test 14 days after ov Mrs! 10th May sounds quite a while to wait if ov happened nearly 2 weeks ago! Fx for you huni, hopefully we both get our Bfps next week! I'm going to test on Thurs I think. On my last post I said I was 4dpo but I stupidly didnt count right and I'm actually only 3dpo- bah! Another extra day to wait! Xx

High Hopes - if you are due to ov on Monday I would test sat, sun and then at least twice on mon/tues. it's good to see the line build in strength and then you definitely need to test a few times a day to catch that positive (it can last just a few hours). I find it handy to test after as well until the line fades just to confirm. If you stop once you get a positive you might not realise it stays positive for a few days and you ov later than you thought you can't do to many opks!

Sunny you were right. This fertility friend chart makes much more sense. And who said they thought I ov on cd21 (17th April) ?! Fertility friend agrees.

My ovia app told me to do a Preggo test. I did. It was negative. I never do what I'm told, why do I when an app tells me?!

If fertility friend is right only 11dpo so probably too early. Or that's what I'm hoping.

Good chart johno! I love fertility friend.. It gets more accurate if you put your cm and opks in too (you might have done that anyway). It did get it wrong number for me once, but I had long cycles and pcos so sometimes I would get a false just about opk and a mild temp rise... But then later in the month I would get a proper positive opk, and a much bigger temp rise.

High hopes, if you get the cheapy green handled opks from Amazon you can get about 5 for £3-4. I found these more than good enough. My surges always lasted 2-3 days but I know someone people's only lasted a few hours. I still tested twice a day when they were surging as it was helpful to see it go from just positive, to crazy super dark, and then back to just positive before going negative again, but I tended to only do one a day of they were negative.

Congratulations on your scan first! Good to know the predictions were right even with the crazy cycles. Mine were to, to the day based on my early scan... Despite ovulating on about cd40.

I'm feeling miserable today, got a bad cold (thanks DH who had it mildly and then passed it on to me who gets it full blown!! Grrr). I had a bit of a cry to DH this morning. Along the lines of "what if the baby has died in there and I don't know about it"... I know it's morbid to think like that all the time, and that the statistics are in our favour after seeing heartbeat at 7weeks. But I was sick once a day Sunday Monday Tuesday and then nothing since. No real nausea, a bit gaggy occasionally but it's only really when I cough. Quite a lot of pelvic pulling sharp type pains but no bleeding. I don't think I can wait till the 12 week scan (which could be as late as 14 weeks!) but I know if I have a scan now I will feel the same in a week and don't want to get into a vicious cycle! Not sure what to do. X

Still the same with me it must of being ov pains cus it was mostly all right sided so I dhd Thursday and will tomorrow aswel :) FX I caught it ;) last ov once again? Head is being fried about this messed up cycle remind me not to go near the pill again!! I don't mind if I have 30 kids 😂😂
