Hey Lou

Cheers for the info. With the SS i can't get over the size difference between them and the pregnecare conception ones! I've been irregular since coming off the pill in October (ttc since Jan) so I have no idea what's my body and what's the pills?!

Well apart from the toxic looking yellow wee with pregnecare!

Loulabelle1990 · 24/04/2016 09:35

I see, what have your cycles been like? I know the Pregnacare ones are huge aren't they! And they taste so horrible!

My advice would be maybe to stop taking them and see if your cycles become more regular? What pill were you on? xx

Johno85 · 24/04/2016 09:39

They smell like wheatbix! So cycles so far have been 32, 42, 37, 47. Currently on cd 27. I was on Yasmin for around 11 years and a couple of other pills and depo for a short period before that.

Was thinking maybe just buying vitamin d and folic acid supplements separately to make sure I'm getting enough especially as already low in vit D.

Loulabelle1990 · 24/04/2016 10:13

Yeah your cycles are all over the place!

Yeah if I were you that might be best and then see what happens - I am taking folic acid separately, got them from Holland & Barrett. I'm not sure if the SS pills mess with cycles but from experience it messed with mine. My cycles have been 72 days then 42 days. Currently on CD 27, same as you xx

cnchapmanxx · 24/04/2016 11:12

Hi Johno

Thankyou for the re assurance I've been like a woman possessed since last Saturday when I found out! Constantly knicker checking!

I never took pregnecare and I started taken seven seas after my last period and i conceived straight away now I don't know whether it's because of them or it was the 'right time' but the seven seas were fine like little pill tablets and had the days on etc never forgot to take one although I took 2 at once the week before I found out I was pregnant and I had constipation for 4 days cause the iron was like 30mg Blush I would defo recommend them though!

Lou - how are you babe? Thanks for the re assurance yday oh is fantastic But also glad I've got you lot aswell! Xxx

May07 · 24/04/2016 11:55

Hi johno I know all about the mocking CB flashing smilies. First month had 13 so stopped using. Did then feel ovulation so tried another and that confirmed peak. 2nd month of using used a whole packet and everyday was flashing. Clearly don't work for me given you are supposed to have around 4 days high then peak! Ahh well.

I have been taking SS and hadn't thought they could be affecting. Might finish the packet I have then switch to folic acid. So annoying how many things could influence it.

Hope you feeling a bit better today chapman? Nice OH is supportive but agree it's lovely to be able to talk on here. If my OH knew just how much I thought and worried about TTC sure he would think I had lost the plot!

I'm at the boring part of cycle! AF on its way out but will be a while before i ovulate. Going away next weekend so going shopping for some new clothes as a treat! And because i appear to have piled weight on since wedding!! Blush

Hope everyone else having a lovely weekend.

ClaireSunflower · 24/04/2016 13:21

I've been taking pregnacare conception as I've seen a lot of good reviews for them. Other than the huge size of them I have no complaints so far. Started ovulating again after 3 weeks of taking them (although no idea if the vitamins helped or not) they seem to have a lot of the important vitamins in so planning on taking them until I get my bfp. They are quite big though so have to have them with a big glass of water!
Hope everyone's having a good weekend. I'm on 7dpo now and still feeling very impatient!

Johno85 · 24/04/2016 13:53

Hey Lou I may do what you're doing and just take the vit separately.

Chapman so you like to od on the ss Winklooks like it worked for you! Maybe I'll go back to the SS, perhaps size isn't everything Grin

My oh is a chef so I've tried explaining about the "fertile window" but he's so chilled out I think it falls on deaf ears lol.

Have made a conscious decision to finish the mocking smileys for the rest of the test sticks I have left and go from there. Its been a beautiful morning here in Somerset so enjoying some cider while I can!

Where is everyone else from? I've posted a bit on the glow community but nothing like a bit of Brit hospitality X

Johno85 · 24/04/2016 13:53

Oh and May that last comment was directed your way just couldn't keep track of all the replies! X

Loulabelle1990 · 24/04/2016 14:06

I'm ok thanks chapman. In limbo land at the moment. I'm either preg or due to come on next week or my body is playing tricks with me Confused

Cookie22 · 24/04/2016 14:52

Afternoon ladies, hope your Sunday is going well! Chapman, so glad to hear that all is well with you & the bleeding has stopped. Its totally understandable to worry about these things! Every little twinge, cramp & niggle must be strange at times but it'll just be your mini me settling in & getting comfy!

Wow it's so so busy in here now! I haven't had a minute to read all the messages but just checked in to say I've finally got a positive OPK! Woop! You know it's positive when the test line shows up quicker than the control!! Have dtd Friday, last night, this morning & will try again tonight. Really want to catch the egg and join the resident preggo list!! Feeling optimistic that my surge is so strong this month & hoping ov will actually happen! Xx

thisisbloodyridiculous · 24/04/2016 16:35

Hooray Cookie that's great Grin I am on CD22 but don't think I have ov'd yet so still DTD EOD...

I'm feeling a bit nervous today. I'm self employed - run my own business and employ 3 other people. I love my job but it takes up almost every hour of the day including weekends - have been working since 8 today and just finished. Feeling a bit anxious about how I could make it work if little person comes along Confused

thisisbloodyridiculous · 24/04/2016 16:35

Oh and I'm taking SS have been since Jan. .. maybe that's why I'm having long cycles?!

Johno85 · 24/04/2016 16:44

Cookie that is a heel yeah of an opk!

Cookie22 · 24/04/2016 16:45

Thanks ridiculous! CD23 for me and usually have a 34/35 day cycle. Hoping my luteal phase stretches out long enough this month! Ooh that does sound like a stressful job! Could parents/family help out with childcare? It's one of those things where somehow things just fall into place and everything works out fine. I really admire self employed ladies who can juggle children and work!

Ooh Sunny I wanted to say a thank you for the advise on taking Agnus mid cycle. Found some old tablets (thought id finished them all) and started taking them on Thursday. I think it's potentially kick started my surge as nothing at all was happening beforehand! Thanks mrs xx

Johno85 · 24/04/2016 16:46

Ridiculous you'll make it work lovely. Husband is a chef and hoping to run his own business in the near future. After all the effort ttc we can achieve anything!

Cookie22 · 24/04/2016 16:48

Woohoo I know Johnno, i love a hell yea of a postive opk! Just read your message about the CB opks! I gave up with them this month as they were doing my head in! I had a static last month and it clearly wasn't even my peak. It really confused me! Cheapy OPKs all the way for me!! Hope ov comes soon for you xx

Sunnydays321 · 24/04/2016 18:47

Woohoo cookie, super duper opk!! Get on it! Glad the Angus seemed to do something.. I think I almost benefitted from stopping it and starting again, like it gave my body a kick start again. Xx

thisisbloodyridiculous · 24/04/2016 20:42

Thanks cookie & johno - I have an amazing DF who is retired and MIL will also be happy to help but tbh I want to go part time so I can play an active role in children's lives! It's just hard to make a decision to do that when self employed because everything rests on my shoulders.

Struggling to motivate DH to DTD tonight... but we didn't do it Friday or Saturday! A little worried we might miss this month if we don't. Is anyone else this paranoid about it?! Blush

ClaireSunflower · 24/04/2016 21:06

Definitely paranoid about missing it too Ridiculous. We dtd 2 days before ovulation and the day off. Ideally would have done it 1 day before but couldn't as we were staying at his parents house. Hopefully the other 2 days will have been enough but have to wait and see.

cnchapmanxx · 24/04/2016 21:33

Johno - haha yes it was like when I used to take my pill I used to take 3 at a time (during the early days of pill taking) it's a wonder I didn't end up pregnant sooner haha! I would recommend them but I'm just bias haha!

May - thankyou lovely he is super but yes your right if he knew the stuff I post on here he would be like really?!? He's a very private person haha! Just after AF has been is the boring part Hun but ov will soon be here for you! Grin

Cookie - I know I was silly but your right babe I literally thought being pregnant was gonna be less stressful than ttc but what do I know Grin super happy for you that you've got a good pos opk! Get pouncing on oh! Got my fingers and toe crossed for you my lovely xxx

Bee - I have this constant battle every day babe I work full time so does oh but I do so much overtime and both our parents live about 200 miles away so it'l be hard but you find ways to cope! Also to you & Claire - in my fertile week I only dtd twice. Thursday and then on the Sunday. Had my positive opk on Saturday and then on Sunday so think I popped on Monday! It only takes one little jizzy to make it Wink

Lou - when are you testing Hun? Got my fx for you so u and every one else can join the resident preggos haha

Ive had a nice weekend after I managed to relax on Saturday- seeing the midwife Friday this week is gonna drag! Can't wait think il be 6 weeks then and I can kind of relax .. XXXX

Loulabelle1990 · 25/04/2016 07:37

I don't know when to test chapman! According to apps AF isn't due until 10th May and I supposedly ovulated a week today so currently 7DPO. Only thing that's confusing me is I've have sore/achy boobs since last Thursday and u usually get this a couple of days before AF so I don't know what's going on! I'm not sure when I should test (if AF doesn't show up this week). What do u think?! xxx

Sunnydays321 · 25/04/2016 08:09

Loulabelle, some people like to wait until their AF is late to avoid the disappointment of negative tests. But I'm too impatient. I got a positive at 10dpo with an early response test. Either the SuperDrug early test (not the normal SuperDrug one as they are a bit pants) or a first response early response are good. Be warned tho it makes the first few weeks of pregnancy feel loooooonnnngggg if you get a positive that early! Haha. Good luck. X

shankate182 · 25/04/2016 10:16
