Any charting experts around this morning? I know I'm banging on about it, but my FF chart is doing my head in. It's STILL not showing me as having ovulated (it does on this one, but only because I have OPK as main detector. It makes me feel a bit better about myself to see the red line!) I had a really big temp dip the day before yesterday; which is rising again. The weirdest thing is that it's putting my chart mainly next to the pregnancy ones on the chart comparison page. Yet it's saying I haven't even ovulated? :/

Does anyone else temp vaginally? I might start trying that next month. I've read it gives more consistent results.

Going to Santorini, pesky. My best friend is getting married out there so it will be a lovely holiday! Agreed with the cocktails! Plus, even if I am out this month, some sun, sea, sand and lots of dtd can't hurt!

Good to see your temps are giving good indicators as to what your body may be doing. I temp vaginally and it's so much more accurate, I'd really recommend it.
It looks as though your body tried to ovulate where you've put the line, but didn't. You can get an LH surge a few times throughout your cycle but then not actually ovulate. FF would have put cross hairs on if you had had a rise in temps for 3 days or more the day or so after your LH surge. On the plus side though it looks like your body might be trying again with your dip and rise in the last few days.
Have you done an OPK today? Fingers crossed your temps will rise over the next few days. You are basically looking for a thermal shift higher than your last set of temperatures to confirm ovulation.

Hey pesky. Which cycle are you on again? My charts were crazy when I first started temping. I'm no expert but from your chart it defo looks like you ov on 13th. This fits with your cm too.

How do you change what ff uses as a main ovulation indicator? If it's your first month using ff you have access to loads of different extras. This stops after a month which is really annoying.

I use two other apps and the charts all look different. What's stressing you out about this chart? Is it because you're not sure if you ov? I would go by cm for now and just let the bbt be there as something to record rather than relying on it. If the witch comes this cycle I'm going to temp via the lady garden next month.

PurpleViola Thank you for your reply :) I will do an OPK early this afternoon after a long wee holding session. Perhaps I'm just not OVing? My cycles have been 28-30 days long since I came off pill in mid April.

Johno85 I'm on cycle 3 now, but this is my first month temping. I'm basically just stressing that I'm not OVing at all. I'm 37, so time is not on my side. I went to GP about it last week, but she wasn't that helpful. Having a baby is a "natural" process apparently (not if you're not ovulating it ain't!) and I should come back at end of September if I'm not upduffed by then. Seriously thinking of paying for a private scan to find out if I'm OVing. It's controlling my every thought right now. My CM isn't that great yet either. Not that much EWCM; although I do record what little I have.

To change settings you go to chart settings and then detector tuning. Then you can change it to whichever setting gives you less of a panic attack. ;)

Oh and it is a help Johno85 Thank you. I'm still going to google "private ovulation scans London" now though. Will this madness ever end?

No problem pesky, johno is right you could have ov on cd 13, but FF says you need at least a 3 day temp rise to confirm it.
I've read a lot of women who have problems with EWCM use preseed, you could maybe try that.
Try not to stress yourself out about it lovely, I came off in March and my cycles are only just settling down, my first was 75 days long. I can sympathise in your sense of urgency. Could you maybe go back and ask to see a diff doctor? Then maybe make out that you've actually come off the pill earlier than you said and want it looked into now? X

75 days?? Wow! I'm glad things are settling down for you now. I am trying not to stress, but it's so hard. If there's an issue I want to know now, not after I've wasted another 3 months.

Wouldn't a different GP have my notes from last appointment though? That's the only thing that's stopping me doing that tbh. My GP is normally lovely, but I wasn't too impressed on this occasion. She didn't do any standard health checks when I told her I was ttc (not sure if they usually do or not?) Plus she described temping as an "interesting" exercise (which I took as code word for "pointless exercise)
