Hey cookie I'm right there with you as a long-standing member. Cycle 7 or 8. I forget! To be honest though I'm only now just having a clue what my body is doing, so how much those first few months ttc were even realistic I'm not sure?!

Cd15 now. Ov on cd 20 last month with 31 day cycle. No signs of ewcm or a positive opk so far. Interestingly I feel much more chilled out this cycle and I have had NO signs of ov. No cramps, boob ache, nowt. Wonder if it's because I'm not really symptom spotting for a change. I'd quite like to keep my new 11 day LP.

Fx for all those testing soon. X

tinyemmy · 25/06/2016 14:22

Hello ladies, I'm also an on and off-er. AF arrived today so that means last cycle was only 23 days. I'm not sure if that's good or bad. As I seem to now be having cycles albeit unpredictable I'm thinking of buying the clearblue advanced fertility monitor. Does anyone have one. Would you recommend it?

So far I've had 28 days until first post-pill bleed and then 113 days and then 27 and now 23. I only had a 2 day period the last cycle (and I think it was brown only?) and the one that lasted 113 days where as the others have been 3.

Happy weekend to everyone x

Jjspoon · 26/06/2016 00:16

Good luck testing bobo! Exciting! Have you had any symptoms? And enjoy your hols marmite!

Cd25/10dpo for me and no symptoms at all yet. Pretty sure this cycle has to be longer than the last one as not even any pmt signs yet!

BoBo90 · 26/06/2016 08:05

Bfn girls, I'm convincing myself I can the faintest of non-existent faint lines but pretty sure I'm out the cycle! I'll test again Tuesday if af hasn't arrived

Good luck marmite, Jj and Claire!!! Fx for all of you!!

Hello all, first post here.

Age: 30
TCC #1
CD 34

This is my first month off the pill, before it I was regular cycles so I am a bit stressed being even a week late. I am praying that AF comes soon as I was hoping to jump straight into TTC (as everyone I suppose). I have been quite crampy and moody so maybe she is close? I have done two tests, both BFN.

How long did it take for you to get your first AF after the pill?

MishyBakes · 26/06/2016 08:32

Hi AnnaKate!

I was on the Progesterone only pill, when I came off I had a withdrawal bleed after 11 days, then a proper period followed 31 days later. I was properly emotional and achey beforehand as well. How long were you on the pill before you came off it?

In other news, I got a high fertility reading this morning! Not going to get overexcited as I had about 10 high readings last cycle, so can't be sure I'll ovulate this cycle either. Fx for everyone!

AnnaKateNZ · 26/06/2016 08:40

Hi Mishy,

I was on Ginet for around 10 years, this is my first break from it. I had a withdrawal bleed as normal when I first stopped and today it is four weeks since that finished. Hopefully it comes along soon!

Were you regular from then on after your first period?

Great news about the high reading, hopefully peak isn't far away! I bought some opk's from the pharmacy in prep for next cycle but the digital ones look a lot easier to read, might have to try them next.

peskyfeelings · 26/06/2016 09:02

Hi Annakate,

I came off mini pill in April. I had no periods while on it (4 years)

I had a 3 day bleed 3 weeks later, then what I'm assuming was a real period 30 days after. That was only 2 days long though. Just waiting for AF to turn up again now.

Hope your cycles come back quickly😊

MishyBakes · 26/06/2016 09:07

Hi Anna! I just typed out a long reply, then managed to delete it, bah! Will try and remember what I wrote...

This is my second cycle after coming off the pill, so can't be sure if I'm properly regular yet. But I'm glad my body has kind of remembered how to do this, as I've been on various hormonal contraceptives for the last 10 years. I haven't heard of Ginet, is it a combined or progesterone only pill? I'm just curious, I don't know if that makes any difference really.

As for the OPKs, I'm doing a little experiment at the mo! I'm using the CB digital ones in the morning (as per manufacturers instructions), then using the internet cheapies in the afternoon. There's some research published that says there's a circadian rhythm with production of LH. I want to see if the two types of OPKs give the same result! Good luck and fx for you Smile

AnnaKateNZ · 26/06/2016 09:18

Hi Mishy,

Ginet is a combined pill, I was on a different pill for about five years (I can't remember the name of that one), then my doctor suggested Ginet to help with my hormonal acne. I have been worried about that coming back too (it hasn't yet) as I have to say at 30 I am not keen on the idea of spots.

I am encouraged by the number of positive tests on this thread! Nice to see!

Good luck to you too!

AnnaKateNZ · 26/06/2016 09:46

Hi pesky,

Thanks for that, so do I! :) I'm really hoping it will come in the next few days.

Good luck to you for this month :)

ClaireSunflower · 26/06/2016 11:42

Hi everyone, I'm on 8dpo here so still too early to test. Think I am going to on Tuesday if AF stays away. I am going to Stockholm on Friday for my 30th birthday and could really do without AF as a present! Lol.

Jjspoon · 26/06/2016 15:58

Aw sorry about the bfn bobo but hopefully just too early! I'm 11dpo now and cd26 and last month had a 26 day cycle so in theory af due tomorrow but can't see that happening. I have no symptoms at all of either af or BFP! Just feel normal... whatever that is post pill lol. Going to give it a few days more before POAS.

Welcome anna I was on combined pill for 12 years before stopping end of April. Had withdrawal bleed 3 days later as usual and then the first proper af 26 days later but it was very light compared to usual (not complaining!). I was on lucette for my acne and it has returned a bit with a few odd spots but no where near as bad as it used to be and I'm aware my hormones are all over the place so hopefully it'll settle down. Fx for you it doesn't return.

mishy I'm interested to see your little experiment results as I was thinking of starting opks next cycle but can't be dealing with holding my wee so long and testing at work lol so be interesting to see what results you get from clearblue and if both similar.

BoBo90 · 27/06/2016 06:47

Thanks Jj 🙂

Anyone have experience with evap lines on frers?? Have you had any? Are they common?

I've tested again today and a line has come up after the time limit but I'm a bit worried it's an evap. All my other tests have never had a hint of a line but still there isn't much colour to it and obviously I took it out the case 😣 Ahhhhh the stress!!

Not sure you can see anything in the pic but top one is yesterday bottom is today! Need to buy more tests for tomorrow now!

Actually I think it's definitely an evap so will see f it's faded we. I get back from work and wait for af to turn up!

Purpleviola14 · 27/06/2016 09:32

Hi Bobo,
Don't mean to get your hopes up but I've seen bfps still come from this sort of this after what people thought was an evap line, fx for you and let us know how it goes, how exciting!

*mishy glad your temps are making more sense, how have they been over last couple of days?
marmite and claire hope you ladies has a fantastic time on your jollys.
Hope everyone else is ok too.

Welcome all the newbies
Xx

Purpleviola14 · 27/06/2016 09:34

I honestly promise I type too fast and that in fact I am not drunk judging by my typos Hmm

Cookie22 · 27/06/2016 10:04

Ahh Bobo I can defnintely see something on the 2nd FRER! It has colour!! Test again when you get home! Exciting!! Eeeek!!

Positive OPK last night and this morning for me. The dreaded tww (or should I say one week wait going by my luteal phase?!) begins! Xx

peskyfeelings · 27/06/2016 10:44

Feeling such period confusion today. Period Confusion would be an excellent name for a band though!

Came off mini pill on 12th April. I'd had no periods while on (three years)

Had a three day bleed on 2nd of May, then a two day bleed on 30th of May. I had another bleed yesterday, but it looks like it's going already, so that's only one day.

I'm really worried that there is something wrong. Should I go to my GP? I'm even thinking of going for a private fertility MOT . I'm 37 and never been pregnant. Time is not on my side. :(

peskyfeelings · 27/06/2016 10:44

Oh and good luck Bobo. Really hope you get your BFP soon!

peskyfeelings · 27/06/2016 11:04

Here's hoping both our cycles sort themselves out soon Anna! :)

BoBo90 · 27/06/2016 12:52

Thanks for the support girls! The line from this morning is now barely visible and I've just done a boots test and its negative. 90% sure it was an evap line which is a bummer! But for one lovely moment this morning I thought I was preggers and that was quite nice while it lasted 😄

Pesky gp might just tell you it's the after effects of the pill but if it would put your mind at ease then book an appointment 🙂 Also if you can afford a fertility mot then go for it!! I've been tempted before 😄

Haha don't worry Purple! If I forget to proof read my posts they always end up with typos!! 😆

OP posts:
peskyfeelings · 27/06/2016 13:27

Sorry to hear that BoBo. Next time though eh? positive thought vibes

That's what I suspect GP will say as well. It's really worrying me though. I can't afford the MOT at all really...I might become a highwayman to scrape it together! :)

BoBo90 · 27/06/2016 13:47

Haha good plan!!
I would go to gp then and really exaggerate how worried you are about it all and about your age and as you are over 35 they might run some tests for you 🙂

OP posts:
peskyfeelings · 27/06/2016 13:58

That's a good plan BoBo. You are a bit evil...I like it! :)

My GP is a really nice woman actually, so that must be worth a shot. Do you think it would also be really sneaky to say I've been ttc for 6 months? I wouldn't if I was younger, but the age thing is worrying me to death!
