Lol Bobo foo?! Hehe that made me giggle. Did you have any ov signs?

I did test this morning BFN but I know it's still early, maybe I'll do it again on Monday if I can hold out! I love it too it's so addictive isn't it. Xx

Cookie22 · 12/06/2016 01:36

Bobo you do make me laugh dollface! Or should I say foo fighter?! Hope you've ov'd and caught the eggy! Who is next to test and who is in the tww? CD9 and about a 12 day wait for any action yet for me (productive action that is 😄) - oh my too much prosecco this evening!! Grin xx

Johno85 · 12/06/2016 07:46

Hey cookie I know how you feel about the AF grumps: I'm right there now!

I use this on my iPhone app and figured out yesterday if I start typing a reply and then close it to go back and read the thread, when I click on reply again my unfinished message is still there! Hence the upcoming massive message! Sounds like you had a good night and are back on track for this cycle Smile

I think it's good that your GP is doing something, you're on cycle 8 right? I think I'm the next longest cycle rider after you. I have no clue at how the fertility testing/blood thing works. Where are you now on your cycle?

Glad you had a nice time away purple and got to relax. Sorry to hear about your bfn but it's still really early post ov so fx for you FlowersDid you turn down the prosecco as ttc? What are people's views on ttc and booze? I'm generally sipping along as normal which isn't lots but is a couple of times a week.

Jjspoon sounds like you're in a bit of limbo hey, but at least you dtd to cover your bases. Like Bobo asked, how long is your luteal phase normally? Odd about ewcm if you normally get it. Cheers for the fx

Hey Bobo you sound like me; at scream into a pillow stage! Where abouts are you in your cycle?

As far as I go: had spotting on Friday but very light pink and not much. Yesterday more pink stuff which unfortunately turned into bright pink/red and more consistent.

It sounds silly but yesterday I convinced myself that I was still Preggo. Been having headaches, dizziness after bending down and apologies in advance for tmi but my boobs are still hurting and they are looking really veiny- like the opening credits of Eastenders- I mean what the hell is that all about? Thought sod it and have altered my apps to full blown AF as of yesterday so now on CD2.

One massive positive, the first month of using Agnus Castus and the cycle just finished was only 31 days. The one before that was 42 days (my longest has been 47)! This is the shortest cycle I've had so far since October and luteal phase of 11 days. Also my ov dates are becoming more consistent which will help with opk's. This time round I stopped taking agnus after I'd ov, but still a bit uncertain whether I should just take it the whole of the cycle or start up again when AF comes. Any ideas anyone?

Sorry to ramble but the other weird thing (tmi disclaimer).... Normally my AF is like the red wedding (game of thrones) and this is just much brighter pink/red and so light- didn't even cover 1/2 the bomb (tampon). My bbt dipped yesterday to 36.3• (cover line) and has stayed there today- normally it goes much lower than cover line during AF.

Also I'm still feeling really nauseous and just weird. Did anyone of the resident preggos have anything like this? I May however, just be clutching at straws Hmm

Apologies for the rant but at least it's something to entertain people over their morning cuppa. Have a fab Sunday all X

Purple I have a new baby papercut to do. In essence I cut pretty pictures from A4 linen paper with a scalpel ☺ ☺ I've attached a pic of one I've done before.

Well, due on on Tuesday.. boobs were super sore last night - weirdly my nappies got hard when I took my bra off and it really hurt! (Actually previewed this and it changed it to "took my BRAIN off" 😂😂) Feeling a bit bloated and rubbish too. Hair has got super greasy quickly too (my hair prefers being washed every 3 days and I only washed it Friday night and needs doing again). Erring more to the side of PMT though as was proper stroppy on Friday and really tearful yesterday (watched Holby City and was sobbing!) which is normal for me. Hope you're all having a good weekend? Anyone testing?xx

BoBo90 · 12/06/2016 10:52

Purple hopefully it was just early and you are a slow hcg producer Smile
I've had a few signs, my opk line went to a sort of medium darkness on cd17 and I had pains all day cd18. It was staying at a medium line until this morning (cd21)! But it's now nearly as dark as control line so fx later today or tomorrow will be ov timeeeee Grin

Haha Cookie love you can never have too much prosecco Wink

Johno haha I love all your little terms Grin you are supposed to stop af after ov because it brings on cramps/period. Take it on Cd1 though and if you are like me it will make your period almost completely pain free which is a nice little bonus!
Keep monitoring the bleeding and if it doesn't get any heavier do a test! As long as there are no clots you could still be in with a chance!

Poin lol at nappies instead of nipple!! Good typo Smile Those are the annoying could be preggers/could be af signs Hmm but I have my fx for you!! Are you going to test before Tuesday or being a good girl and waiting??

Poin86 · 12/06/2016 11:55

Hahahahaha totally missed that one!! Spotted the other two autocorrects!
I'm just going to wait it out and see if I come on as normal, I know it's really negative of me but I can't see that I am, I just think I'm 1. Reading too much into it and 2. By doing that, making my PMT symptoms more obvious so I think they're worse than normal.xx

Jjspoon · 12/06/2016 12:21

bobo and johno last month was my first month off the pill so I have no idea if I even did ovulation or how long luteal phase was and I haven't done any ov tests yet as wanted to give it a few cycles first. I had ewcm for around a week though and my libido went sky high days 10 to 13 Blush so I thought that might be mither nature's way of telling me it was the right time to dtd! I'm going to start opkt next month though if bfn this month as will be cycle 3 and hopefully I'll have more of an idea about my cycle if this one is around the same length.

johno I've been wondering about the drinking too. I don't drink much but have a few times the last few weeks to make the most of it! I don't think I will again now for a few weeks until after is due and am sure I'm not though.

Good luck bobo!

Have any of you told anyone you know that you're ttc or keeping it to yourselves? I'm finding it so hard at times to keep quiet but I also don't want the pressure of people knowing. I had a few drinks with a close friend the other day and was close to letting it slip when baby talk came up but managed to keep quiet!

Purpleviola14 · 12/06/2016 12:31

Thanks Johno, yeah I did turn down because ttc but that's only because I'm paranoid lol. I think everyone is diff and it's OK to have some once in a while and go easy on yourself. Everyone has a diff metabolic rate and I get drunk from sniffing booze so I have to be careful haha!
With the Angus castus I had a fertility chat with my doctor and she really twisted her face when I told her I'd been taking it. But I did stop a few days before ovulation and I feel it helped me. My view was I should stop as it could be dangerous if I fell pregnant then suddenly stopped taking it causing a drop in hormones and my body wouldn't be able to start producing them naturally quick enough. I could be wrong though Smile

Poin that's so lovely! Very artistic, I'm a crafty type too. I really wish I had seen that when my niece was born.
I think I am same as you, reading too much into things! My bbs heart so much when I take my bra off (not brain haha!) and shooting pains in nipples (not nappies hehe!) even hurt when I fold my arms.and I'm spotty, never usually get any. So I was convinced I might be pg. but then today my temp has dipped below cover line, we will see what tomorrow brings but I'm not sure if implantation is possible at 10dpo? Anyone else heard of this?

Bobo get on it girl!!
Xx

ClaireSunflower · 12/06/2016 12:50

poin that papercut is amazing, you are very talented!

johno I've cut down a bit on drinking whilst ttc. I've never been a huge drinker anyway but would have the odd glass of wine after dinner which I have now cut out. I still have one or two on a weekend though because I don't think it will do much harm while ttc and if I am going to give up completely for 9 months I don't want to deprive myself in the God knows how many months it will take to conceive!

jjpspoon I am mainly keeping the fact that I am ttc to myself. I told my best friend and my husband has told a couple of close friends but that's it. I haven't told my family or DH's family. My mother in law is desperate for a grandchild and talks about it non stop so I really wouldn't want to tell her as she would probably explode with excitement.

Jjspoon · 12/06/2016 12:58

claire at least you know she will be happy when you do get the BFP! I'm not sure my oh's mum will even take it that well it's the one person I'll be most nervous of telling :(. I don't think she even likes me much and I'm sure she's convinced I'm trying to take her DS away from her! I can't really talk to my oh about it as he dotes on her and gets very defensive if I utter anything slightly negative rolls eyes fingers crossed I'm wrong and she'll be over the moon when it does eventually happen. I've told my mum and kind of wish I hadn't... yesterday we went for lunch together and she asked if I should be eating coleslaw because of the mayo! She's told me I wasn't planned so I'm pretty sure she must have done things you shouldn't when pregnant (without knowing) and I turned out ok lol

marmitetoast1 · 12/06/2016 13:07

Hi all! CD 17 here and just coming to the end of fw here (well, I think! Based mainly on cm and Ovia! Still a bit clueless!) so shortly entering 2ww. This will be my first proper 2ww really as last cycle we had just randomly had unprotected sex a few times with no idea of timings! Managed to dtd quite a bit in the end this time in what I think is fw so we'll see... cue the craziness! Will be interested to see length of cycle this time... hoping it might have shortened a bit. I'm guessing it probably should have if i'm right on ov/fw timing.

That papercut is gorgeous poin! Also lol-ed at hard nappies! Grin

Glad you had a lovely time in Prague Purple, it is a great city!

I'm similar to you jjspoon, decided not to opk yet, but think I probably will next month for cycle 3. I also had some ewcm and a suddenly much higher libido for days 14-16!

I know what you mean about being tempted to tell a few close friends. The only person I've told is one of my good friends who has been ttc for a while. It is nice having someone in 'real life' to talk about it to

Jjspoon · 12/06/2016 13:37

marmite that's nice for you to have someone. I would probably tell a close friend but none of my friends have kids yet or are ttc so I don't think I'd get much out of telling them except the pressure of having them knowing. Fx for you this month!

Poin86 · 12/06/2016 14:25

Ah thanks guys! Had two wedding ones go out recently and OH took one to Canada in his suitcase and it survived the flight luckily.

My mum was about 5 months pregnant when she realised with my sister as they didn't really do ultrasounds or anything back then so she probably did stuff you probably shouldn't do or should only do in moderation until she found out! One of my best friends smoked until she found out at 5 weeks with her first and little miss is perfectly OK.

Haha I think that I'm going to remember "hard nappies" forever now! 😂😂😂 xx

Pyjamas81 · 12/06/2016 17:37

Waving hello to everyone!

Age - 35
TTC 1
Cycle - who knows, still waiting for first cycle!
CD - as above!

I came off the pill over a month ago (a version of microgynon), had withdrawal bleed which I started tracking as CD1 so I could keep note of how long it takes for real AF to kick in - still waiting 31 days later!

I'm a total novice at all this, so have been playing around with OPK sticks just to see how they work really (knowing they'll be negative)

The faint line in the pic below was at CD26 (but obviously not real CD26) and the one next to it was taken today. Who knows what's going on!

Going to just test everyday as I have no idea where I am!

Ttc after stopping the pill thread 3. Join us for: Super long cycles, living in limbo, obscene amounts of poas and trying anything and everything to get that bun in the oven!
Poin86 · 12/06/2016 18:23

Hi pyjamas! Is the one that is lighter today's one? Means you may have had a surge before estimated "CD26" as needs to be the same darkness or darker for a + OPK. Hopefully AF makes an appearance for you soon so you can get tracking or you get that BFP if you've already started trying.xx

Cramping has kicked in 😔😔 bit earlier than normal as normally only get within 12 hours of AF hitting and my CM seems to have dried up a lot more (still a tiny bit there but dried in my underwear) over the course of the day so taking that that I'm out!xx

Pyjamas81 · 12/06/2016 18:51

Hi Poin!

The darker one (against the white background ) was today's! Who the hell knows what's going on lol

Boo to your cramping - hope AF stays away for you!

Poin86 · 12/06/2016 19:10

To me then, it looks like you probably have ovulate but have missed it this month. I returned to ovulating straight away after stopping the pill in October - we aren't technically trying at the moment as my OH had a freak out about it all! Periods went back to being regular as clockwork and short to boot. So hopefully, if you did OV then you should get AF roughly 14 days after and the luteal phase should be roughly that long 😊😊 xx

Pyjamas81 · 12/06/2016 19:22

Thanks Poin! This is all so new to me, didn't even know what an OPK was before lol

Sorry to hear about the OH freak out! It all gets very real as soon as TTC starts ShockI had a minor freak out myself!

Poin86 · 12/06/2016 19:53

No worries, we've had to try and understand OPKS and they are still a bit alien to me at times! Haha I know what you mean, anxious about it already but have had to take the step back from the discussions as he was going through the stage of not even wanting to talk about it to have to ease it back in gently. We had a bit of an oops after he'd been away for 11 days but in all honesty I've not discussed the potential with him as no need to freak him out again if it's not happening lol.xx

marmitetoast1 · 12/06/2016 20:35

Hi Pyjamas! Welcome! I came off a pill similar to Microgynon too (Rigevidon - GP told me it was the same when they changed my prescription..) in early March and it took 37 days for my first AF to arrive after withdrawal bleed! Cycle 2 was 36 days. Felt like a reeally long time at the time, but on reflection it wasn't actually that long really compared to what some others have post-pill! Currently on 3rd cycle since stopping the pill and hoping it has shorted to more of a 'normal' length! I'm sure yours is just around the corner!

I felt a bit freaked out the first time we had unprotected sex - you spend so long actively avoiding it - by taking the pill every morning! - that it's bound to feel a little bizarre at first I think!

Pyjamas81 · 12/06/2016 21:49

Hi marmite! Good to see a fellow ex-microgynoner Grin You're right, it does feel reeeally long - but your experience has given me a bit of hope! I was only in Microgynon for a couple of months, had Nexplanon implant for 3 years before that, and bar a year's break, on Microgynon before that from about the age of 15! So, maybe the Nexplanon is playing a few cheeky tricks as well.

Know what you mean about first time unprotected sex - was so strange and had a minor wtf am I doing moment ha ha

marmitetoast1 · 13/06/2016 07:51

I was on pill for 14 years straight! Seems crazy to think about it now! Only wish I'd come off sooner before starting TTC to give cycles a chance to settle down and get some idea of them.

Hope everyone has an alright Monday!

Jjspoon · 13/06/2016 19:55

Cd13 and still no ewcm although I had lots last month.... starting to stress about it:(

Has anyone else thought about timings of due dates? I really didn't want to have a summer baby mostly because of them being the youngest in the school year and also because of the thought of being heavily pregnant during summer time! Should have started earlier really as if it's a BFN this month it'll be getting closer to a summer baby!

Pyjamas81 · 13/06/2016 20:27

Hi jj - I had thought about the Summer issue as well, but have now decided what will be will be!

Still no AF for me - losing patience, just want to be able to start frigging tracking properly!

Jikkipug · 13/06/2016 21:50

For all you worrying ladies I promised I'd write on one of these when my time came! It's a long one but hopefully it will help someone!
I went off birth control in the middle of March this year, since then I have not had a glimpse of a period! That would put me on cycle day 84 today.. Since stopping birth control I have had constant horrible cramps. I went to the doctors a month ago and had a blood test done and wee tests both to come back negative. The dr told me I most likely have a cyst or could even be pcos and put me on the waiting list for an ultrasound (which is 6 weeks!) all I wanted was to feel normal and have a period! The cramps have continued to this day, I love going out drinking with friends so did not stop as I have been told I'm not pregnant. 2 days ago nothing in the world seemed worse to me then alcohol, the smell the taste I felt so sick being around it so went home early. Out of curiosity today I had 1 cheapo test left so thought why not and took it.. INSTANT DARK LINE BEFORE TEST LINE! My fiancé went and bought a clear blue which shows pregnant 3+ weeks! (Apparently this mean you are at least 5) I am calling the dr in the morning to discuss what's next but cannot believe it! Even when you think your out keep hoping! No period went from a nightmare to the best thing for me :)
