I don't know if it was too much for implantation? Can implantation bleeding occur after AF is due? I just have no clue. I have more tests at home...

ClaireSunflower · 06/06/2016 14:09

I'd do another test Loula. I remember highhopes had the same thing where she thought AF had arrived but must have been implantation because it stopped and she got her bfp. Fx for you x

BoBo90 · 06/06/2016 14:49

HighHopes did have something similar. I guess it depends how much the egg decides to nestle in! Brown blood doesn't really count either as that's old blood and could be there from last period (sounds icky but does happen) fx for you lovely Smile! Let us know how you get on xxx

Loulabelle1990 · 06/06/2016 15:27

Thanks ladies. I would love to think it's implantation but I literally haven't had any red blood. If it's not implantation, do you think it's worth a visit to the doctors?

Also my boobs have stopped hurting like they usually do before AF. Only thing that's different this month is I have loads of spots and I feel nauseous! xx

HighHopes16 · 06/06/2016 17:31

Definitely do a test in a couple of days Lou as that sounds like what I had and I got my BFP! Smile

Loulabelle1990 · 06/06/2016 17:49

Okay, I might wait till Wednesday and do a test then.

Did you still get AF type cramps high? I feel exactly like I usually do when AF is in the house!

Johno85 · 06/06/2016 18:16

Hey Lou. How long does your AF normally last? I love how people are quoting history from the Preggo lot!

Cd 27 today. My boobs are really sore which isn't normal for me. Going to poas Sunday if AF hasn't arrived by then. Although it's pretty tricky to know when to test when cycles vary so bloody much! Any one else due to poas?

HighHopes16 · 06/06/2016 18:29

Yes I felt bloated & crampy, my boobs hurt & I was feeling really moody (all my usual pre AF symptoms) Then what I thought was AF arrived a week late but it was much lighter than usual and disappeared after a few days which is what made me do a test ! Fingers crossed!! Lou

Loulabelle1990 · 06/06/2016 18:59

Ah thank you. My body is really confusing me. Just been to the toilet and there is more red now like normal AF Sad

Loulabelle1990 · 06/06/2016 19:00

Good luck to you johno! Sounds promising! My AF usually lasts 4 days or so but I've never had it like today and yesterday, I was so sure it was implantation and then bam! She shows up. Stupid witch! xx

Johno85 · 06/06/2016 19:59

Ah lou sending you hugs lovely. I have really bad cramps this evening now too, so either the witch is on her way to me or who knows?! Confused keep us posted X

marmitetoast1 · 07/06/2016 08:26

Hi all just catching a up after a (gloriously sunny!) long weekend away with DHs family. Was lovely spending time with SiLs little ones... Makes you want it even more though!

Still catching up on here but sorry for all those getting unwanted AF and fingers crossed for some BFPs soon!

CD 12 here so rapidly approaching the DILR week!! Well, I think.. Depending on cycle length this time! DH is full of the cold and/or hayfever though and feeling grim... Hmm

Jjspoon · 07/06/2016 12:44

Good luck lou, hope it's signs of a BFP, it seems like we're all having random symptoms so who knows what's going on but fingers crossed! I'm on cd7 today and was planning on dtd tonight as had a short cycle last time but now af is back after 3 days of nothing so not practical for baby making :( seems like I'm a bit all over the place

Jjspoon · 07/06/2016 12:48

Marmite toast DILR week 😂 haha! Haven't heard that one yet but guessed what it means!

marmitetoast1 · 07/06/2016 13:04

Jjspoon heheh I know! Saw someone else use it on here and thought it was good!Grin

Loulabelle1990 · 07/06/2016 15:13

I've just clocked on what DILR week haha. I love these shortened slang words!

Do any of you ladies get your partners to take any vitamins? I wasn't sure whether to get DH to start taking zinc vitamins or not to try and help. I heard it improved the sperm xx

marmitetoast1 · 07/06/2016 16:55

DH just called... He's now got conjunctivitis! Sad we didn't dtd last night as he was feeling rubbish so we were going to tonight instead but I guess that's off the cards now too... I know it's wrong of me to be annoyed...Hmm I'm starting to get lots of cm but not ewcm yet.

loulabelle I had been wondering about this too and had heard zinc in particular is good for sperm. DH isn't taking anything (and all I'm currently taking is folic acid) just trying to keep us both eating really healthy varied diet at the moment. What about anyone else?

Jjspoon · 07/06/2016 17:09

Mines not taking anything at the moment but heard the same for zinc. Might suggest it after a few more cycles but personally I'm trying to not worry about it too much at the moment. So many people i know have got pregnant without even trying so I don't want to worry too much about things like that unless we think something might be wrong after a while of trying. I've heard taking extra vitamins is pointless unless you are deficient your body just won't digest it and it's a waste of money? I'm just taking folic acid and have vitamin d ready for as soon as we get the BFP although maybe it's worth taking that already too? Just got boots own brand and was 3 for 2!

ClaireSunflower · 07/06/2016 18:32

Haha I like the term dilr week marmite I will be using this term too. I am currently cd11 so at a similar point to you.

loula I've got DH taking some vitamins I got from boots. It is boots own brand complete men's vitamins. They were about a fiver and on 3 for 2 so not too expensive and have zinc and selenium in which are supposed to be good for ttc. Can't hurt taking them anyway.

Poin86 · 07/06/2016 19:15

Wowzers I've missed LOADS!!

I haven't read all the previous pages on here but saw BoBo did some lists (I love me a list!) Is there a latest update? Ours would be #1 BTW. I've been AWOL since Mid April so know we've had a couple of BFP since then so congrats ladies 💗💗 xx

I think I'm 7dpo, potentially in the 2ww after an oops the day he got home from Canada. Sore boobs, more painful back than normal, left thigh and hip pain and cramping. Also got a very nice spot appeared on my cheek and I never get them there. Am going to wait until my period is due to test as probably unlikely to have happened as didn't do my OPKS this month so a real chance we missed it. Still technically "on hold" for TTC. Feeling uber loved up since his return so kinda want to enjoy that without him freaking out having the discussion (if this month doesn't happen) not getting my hopes up, could just have injured my hip (super clumsy lately) which is causing the back pain too and could be normal PMS with everything else.xx

Loulabelle1990 · 08/06/2016 07:39

Great thanks for your responses ladies Smile.

I think I will buy DH some zinc tablets. He doesn't have the best diet in the world and the only veggies he will eat are peas and carrots. He's such a fussy bugger! Claire I think I'll go and have a look in boots at the ones you got too - surely it can't hurt?? Especially if my DH isn't getting what he needs through his food! Are they actual conception vitamins or just normal ones?

Hope you were able to DTD last night marmite! And also hope his conjunctivitis clears up!

Nice to have you back poin! Fingers crossed this month is your month! It's hard to distinguish symptoms when your in the tww as everything you never noticed before gets you thinking!

marmitetoast1 · 08/06/2016 08:20

Ooh nice to have a cycle buddy Claire! Are your cycles fairly regular? I'm still figuring mine out post-pill. Have had 37 and 36 days so far! So hoping they might start to shorten!

Didn't get to dtd last night. Poor DH in a fairly miserable way. Took him to pharmacist last night who said it was a particularly bad case, in both eyes too! And he's still full of the cold. Hoping for a miraculous recovery by tonight??! Feel like Ovia is judging me for lack of dtd!

ClaireSunflower · 08/06/2016 13:23

Hi poin welcome back and good luck with the 2ww!

loula the vitamins I got for him are just general ones not specific for conception although it does say on the back that it contains vitamins that help the reproductive system. It's these ones:

m.boots.com/h5/cat_hub?unCountry=uk&path=%2Fen%2FBoots-Complete-Man-30-tablets_1435051%2F

My DH has a fairly varied diet but I thought these couldn't hurt if there is something he is deficient in.

Aw your poor DH marmite hope he is feeling better soon!

BoBo90 · 08/06/2016 13:54

Hi ladies Smile I've updated the list!

Opks have just started getting darker so looks like I'm in my fertile week :) weirdly I haven't had any pain like I normally would so I'm hoping that's a good sign rather than bad Smile I've also bought some pre-seed to try this time so fx it gives me a nice bfp Grin

Thanks Claire, I will take a look at those in my local boots tomorrow Grin. Better to have a multi vitamin rather than just the one I guess!

Thanks for the updated list BoBo! Would you be able to change mine to ttc #1 and I am cycle 5 now Smile.

Fx with your fertile week. I really do hope the preseed will work for u! let the DILR week commence! xx
