Hi,
This is the first time I have had to take a pregnancy test, how long should I wait after sex before I can do the test, it says start of next period on the box but that's like another 2 weeks and it's already been a week and I just need to know... Is it too early still? Please help!

How many days into your cycle are you? Or simply, how many days has it been since your last period started?

When did you last have sex?

It's been roughly 2 maybe 2 1/2 weeks since the last one started!
Last had sex Monday

You would need to wait two weeks after you last had sex on s standard cycle. Another week to go! The earliest you might see something usually would be 10 days so maybe Thursday?

Welcome to the world of the two week wait.

You should really try and wait until AF is due. Some tests work up to 4 days before hand but they can be quite unreliable and you may get a positive which turns into a chemical PG.

Do you actually want to be PG?

Definitely wait until the day your period is meant to arrive.

It's a long hard wait but there's a massive hence you could get a false negative testing too early x
