Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
  5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a Kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like 'something' = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into TTC obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing a Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

"I did want chocolate brownies but slightly put off by the intertwining of 'chocolate brownies' and 'rectal pessaries' on the Fred"
LOL! Indeed Grin

NameChange30 · 05/04/2016 21:45

Name change fail! I had been doing so well Blush

coribeth · 05/04/2016 21:52

Thanks for all my happy birthday messages! Had a lovely weekend went to a spa with my friends lots of food drink treatments and relaxation exhausted now! Was also very spoilt with lots of nice pressies and youngest dd says she's taking me to the cinema when she gets back from her dad's which means I'm paying and she's choosing the film which is exactly what she got me for mothers day too! Hmm

FuzzyOwl · 05/04/2016 22:02

I always miss them NameChange!

I hope her taste in films isn't too awful cori and glad you had a lovely weekend.

NameChange30 · 05/04/2016 22:05

Not this time Fuzzy! I've reported my post and waiting for MNHQ to change the name, but until they do it's there for all to see please hurry up MNHQ

FuzzyOwl · 05/04/2016 22:08

Oh yes! Grin I was being so dim, it didn't even occur to me that maybe it hadn't been changed yet.

justtheonethen · 05/04/2016 23:28

Oops name Grin

Night all Smile

Kwick709 · 06/04/2016 07:42

So so funny: intertwining remark!!! LOL!!!

Kwick709 · 06/04/2016 07:47

just I think I may have advised canters on the following regime:
Double cleanse every pm - that means use a balm or an oil cleanser and wash off with wrm flannel, then cleanse again - using something different
Salcyclic acid (apologies I cannot spell) is a good exfoiliant - can be found in Loreal Age Perfect cleanser which is inexpensive.
I can "prescribe" more if you give me more info on skin type and any challengettes. Grin

Canters15 · 06/04/2016 08:31

just - what kwick said! I tried using a glycolic acid/salicylic acid night treatment from nip and fab too which seemed to work well.

WaitrosePigeon · 06/04/2016 09:09

Morning come buckets.

No bodily functions to report. Cut my own fringe last night, look like a twat. Not going out today.

How are you all?

justtheonethen · 06/04/2016 11:07

Thanks kwick & canters Smilehave super dry, spotty round period and icing and prone to eczema skin so any recommendations welcome!

Morning waitrose, kirby grip it up? That's what I do when I've been too ambitious with the scissors on mine!

Had back injections this morning on gas and air, managed to embarrass myself in theatre by declaring I "was hammered" Blush

NameChange30 · 06/04/2016 11:32

Waitrose If my mother taught me anything, it's NEVER CUT A FRINGE WITHOUT PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS. Especially not your daughter's fringe. I have many a traumatic memory of wonky fringes.

WaitrosePigeon · 06/04/2016 11:37

Oh I already fucked my daughters hair a few months ago. And I clearly didn't learn my lesson.

I've managed to get it to look slightly ok.

Didn't think of kirby grips - thanks. I will get some today.

Oh my god back injections - can I ask what for? Sorry I am new - apologies if its sensitive x

LondonGirl83 · 06/04/2016 11:37

Haha! Hammered on gas & air just

Catching up on Fred-- please let's not post EWCM pics.

NFMEWCM: Still have loads of it. I think mine might continue even after I ice but I have no idea this month as I'm not monitoring.

Will shag DH tonight and then hopefully Sat morning. We have guests all weekend and plans Friday night and in his old age DH doesn't like shagging when other people are in the house.

When we were in our twenties we would shag at festivals in our tent just inches away from our friends... How times have changed!

Fred pole: who can shag with guests in the house?

WaitrosePigeon · 06/04/2016 11:39

Deffo shag! You will have to be quiet and it will make it more exciting!

justtheonethen · 06/04/2016 11:45

I have a problem with my back (facet joints) after a car accident, not sensitive so don't worry!

We too used to shag everywhere but dp rarely finishes if he's trying to be quiet so for ttc purposes it's pointless!

CountryGal4 · 06/04/2016 12:06

Ha. Me and dh lived with his parents for a year. You get over other people being in the house if that's your only option!

justtheonethen · 06/04/2016 12:07

Ha ha country too true!

fruitlovingmonkey · 06/04/2016 12:32

Stealth shag for sure. I got upduffed while one of my friends was staying, must've been the silent atmosphere allowing the sperm to focus on swimming Grin

Catscatsandmorecats · 06/04/2016 12:48

London deffo shag regardless of who is there!

Just - Kwick and Canters are right anything with salycilc acid is your friend. My skin is like yours, dry but with outbreaks and sometimes exczema prone. I use a garnier 3in1 face wash/scrub/mask and an Avon correcting lotion that helps moisturize the dry bits as well as preventing spots.

GundogFrankie · 06/04/2016 12:53

Yes to stealth shagging over here.

I also like to make a fort do it on the floor rather than our creaky bed, it seems more exciting and I like the risk of getting a carpet burn Grin

LondonGirl83 · 06/04/2016 13:29

It's amazing how breaking routine can spice things up. Shag earlier this week was in the lounge (won't do that with guests round) and it was terrific!

Change of location and room are definitely an aphrodisiac :)

NameChange30 · 06/04/2016 14:07

I'm a shy sort and like being loud so I don't like shagging when we have guests or when we're staying at other people's houses. But if we were staying with family or friends for a long time I'm sure I could adjust Grin

SockQueen · 06/04/2016 14:41

Don't really mind when we have guests over, as our guest bedroom doesn't share a wall with our room so there's a degree of sound insulation! A bit shyer at my parents, but we do occasionally sneak in a stealthy one.
