Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here because you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2531973-Christmas-is-here-but-its-not-the-turkey-thats-getting-basted-with-symptoms-to-spot-and-festive-cheer-Prty-and-the-gang-are-getting-BFPS-this-year?pg=39&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.
  4. This thread is intended for support - both giving and receiving. If someone helps you then please be kind and return that to another TTCer.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all of my lovelies xx

Glitter no, they just don't quite get it unfortunately. My DH is quite a private person and hates the idea of me discussing these things with people (although he was quick to text his brother about his great SA results) but I couldn't do without my mum and BF to talk to about this, and you lovely ladies as well. It's better for him that I talk to someone else anyone, if I didn't he'd have all my crazy and then we'd both be stressing constantly

Lucy1308 · 23/05/2016 09:15

I'm so confused it's ridiculous. But I'm just going to keep doing OPKs and see what they reckon, hopefully this one was the real deal and last time was just a practice haha!!

Spa day sounds lovely glitter, I love a good chance to chill out and feel all relaxed and floppy! I have myself a mini spa evening the other night when I was feeling crap and think it really helped to calm me down and feel better.

My OH also hates the idea of me discussing this with anyone- don't think he realises that the pressure to perform doesn't come from them, it's all in my head!! Good job I've got you lot to moan at otherwise poor OH would seriously get it in the neck!!

karryk · 24/05/2016 07:20

Reporting in with a bfn (meh)

Going to throw myself into plans for our new house - buying a kitchen and bathroom this weekend so that will keep me distracted :)

Spa day sounds fab! I haven't been to one in ages.

Wish you all a lovely week x

MrsKittenPie · 24/05/2016 07:31

glitter - hope the spa day was good, I love spa days Smile
karry - sorry for the BFN but that sounds like a good distraction- have fun x

glitterpoppy · 24/05/2016 07:42

Sorry for the BFN karry

Thanks ladies, loved it. It was so relaxing and just had the best day. Spoke to my sister about everything and just felt better having someone (other than my DH) to talk to.

Pirsy1 · 24/05/2016 08:11

Karry sorry about the BFN. Kitchen and bathroom shopping sounds fun though! We are also renovating our new house. Expecting the builders to start end of June.

Poppy pleased you had a good spa day and that talking to your sister was helpful! Good luck for your appointment this week.

I am waiting for AF to show. Should be this week. If no AF and not pregnant then Im out as we would have missed when I ovulated!

snowy1982 · 24/05/2016 10:47

Sorry about the BFN Karry, house plans sound like a great distraction.

Got to love a good spa day Glitter, I had more reflexology last night, it was so relaxing (although apparently I have a build up of fluid on my ankles and a dehydrated urinary tract) but then I went home and undid all the relaxation by watching Game of Thrones, I was distraught by the time I went to bed.

Anyone heard from Prty lately?

Pirsy1 · 25/05/2016 08:39

AF is def coming. Headaches and feel knackered.

karryk · 25/05/2016 11:44

Joining you with the headaches Pirsy x

No af yet...just light spotting.

Someone's just walked into the office with their new baby...don't feel like getting up to coo. I'm a right little raincloud of gloom today...lol x

MrsKittenPie · 25/05/2016 13:05

pirsy - sorry to hear that lovely but you're not out yet.
karry - I don't blame you at all, I wouldn't either. I've just crossed the street to avoid the mum of a friend who is pregnant as all she would talk about is the pregnancy and I really cannot deal with that

karryk · 25/05/2016 16:43

Indeed....Sometimes I'm absolutely fine and love being around babies but just wasn't feeling it today.

Thankfully I'm done with work for the day and off home for some relaxation :)

Wishing all a lovely evening x

Pirsy1 · 25/05/2016 17:44

Karry Ill join you as a raincloud of doom! Kitten I dont blame you for crossing the road. I am sick of babybombs ... another one on facebook and someone else my brother knows. Why can't it be me for once?!

Pirsy1 · 26/05/2016 08:45

Still tired and headachy. I am expecting cramps today then AF tomorrow. I will be deep wiping a lot over the next couple of days!

Lucy1308 · 26/05/2016 09:26

How are we all doing today? My OPKs have tapered back down to what I would consider the normal for any point in my cycle that's not ovulation, so fingers crossed the dull pain and positive OPK the other day was the real deal. This should probably teach me to temp in future haha!! Two TWWs without a period in between, aren't I the lucky one?! Confused

Sorry you're feeling rubbish pirsy, hope you feel better soon CakeFlowers

MrsKittenPie · 26/05/2016 12:44

pirsy - sorry you're feeling rubbish, really good af stays well away for you and instead there's a bfp. I am totally sick of babybombs they are everywhere. I'm sick of worrying about talking to people just waiting for the 'happy news' - I agree, why can't it be us for a change?
I've already decided how I'm going to cope with af arriving next weekend - I've got 2 parties so can enjoy both Friday night and Saturday having a few drinks rather than being miserable like I always am when it arrives

MrsKittenPie · 26/05/2016 12:45

lucy - so how many days past ovulation are you now? I'm 4dpo

Lucy1308 · 26/05/2016 12:59

kitten I'm 3dpo I think. Could be 4, could be 2 but I'll work on the middle and go with 3. Kind of wish I'd temped now so I knew what was going on but that'll teach me haha!! I've got a busy few weeks so I'm coping better this time round than last, or maybe I've given up putting so much pressure on myself?!?! Either way I'm not as irate!! (Yet!!)

Let the symptom spotting begin.....!!

karryk · 26/05/2016 15:24

Fingers crossed for you Lucy and MrsKittenPie :)

I've booked a bikini wax in readiness for the next fw. The glamour Grin lol

snowy1982 · 26/05/2016 19:35

Hi ladies, just checking in on everyone, been ridiculously busy in work the last couple days so haven't been able to post much. My next FW starts on Sunday (well i think so, but based on last months mess I can't be 100%) so getting myself geared up for that. Trying to not stress out over it all and having a wee party with some friends and family on Saturday so that should help me relax. Hope everyone is keeping well

Pirsy1 · 27/05/2016 08:31

So no AF yet. Im not too excited about this. I def feel like someone who's about to get a period and dont feel at all pregnant. I suspect I ovulated later than I was expecting and AF will be along in a few days to ruin everything! I have an exciting event next weekend too Kitten - my brother's 30th, so at least Ill be able to eat and drink whatever I want.

Good luck for the 2wws kitten and lucy! Snowy and karry good luck for your FWs ... good idea on the bikini wax karry - keep it exciting.

snowy1982 · 27/05/2016 08:55

Pirsy I am still keeping my FX'd for you Smile

So, about to go into a little TMI here but, I noticed some EWCM last night and more today. I am due to start FW Sat/Sun and don't normally notice EWCM this early, its generally only the day or 2 before ovulation. I did a OPK this morning and no surge detected. Don't know what to think of this, is it a sign I am going to ovulate early, is it a positive sign that I am just producing more EWCM which could only be a good thing, or am I just reading too much into things as I normally tend to do Smile

I am always concerned about EWCM as I think when we started TTC I wasn't producing enough of it ( I barely noticed it some cycles) so I started taking EPO and this made an obvious difference, so I also obsess over the stuff

Pirsy1 · 27/05/2016 12:32

Hmmmmm think Im out. Tiny smidge of brown when wiping. Probably full flow later today or tomorrow I guess. Nevermind.

Snowy I am no good on EWCM. It does seem to be very variable month to month for me too. If in doubt DTD.

snowy1982 · 27/05/2016 14:43

DTD is not an option today unfortunately as I am away for work, but I will be OPKing every morning now so hopefully I won't miss the surge

glitterpoppy · 27/05/2016 15:56

Hi all, had our appointment this afternoon at the fertility clinic. DH 2nd SA came back and is still low, it's come to light that this may have been caused by him having mumps when he was younger. Anyway, now they are looking at referring us for ICSI. DH has to go and keep banking his sperm and then they will see if it's good enough quality otherwise they may have to operate on him and extract the sperm from him Confused they are thinking they should be able to use the banked soerm though. If all that makes sense Confused

snowy1982 · 27/05/2016 16:19

Yip, that makes sense Glitter - I'm sure it's not what you wanted to hear, but on the plus side now you have answers and a game plan in place, which means your BFP is one step closer
