Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here because you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2531973-Christmas-is-here-but-its-not-the-turkey-thats-getting-basted-with-symptoms-to-spot-and-festive-cheer-Prty-and-the-gang-are-getting-BFPS-this-year?pg=39&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.
  4. This thread is intended for support - both giving and receiving. If someone helps you then please be kind and return that to another TTCer.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all of my lovelies xx

Lucy have been known to do the white knicker thing too Grin

So one of the clinics got back to me, I could get an appointment there within the week if I wanted. Now I am so tempted to go for it, but we agreed to wait a month and I don't want to annoy DH by changing that (I insisted we make a decision together so I should really stick to it).

My family are great, they are always really supportive of everything I do, I would be lost without them.

Lucy1308 · 20/05/2016 11:08

Well white pants are still white!! Bloody AF isn't even tempted I can tell!! No more cramping today though which is odd!!

I'm glad it's not just me that does things like that snowy- sit there and insist on something and then decide that I'm too impatient and I could be doing something else. Own worst enemy haha!! Can you tell I can't sit still? Good job I don't have an office job haha!!

snowy1982 · 20/05/2016 11:21

I think its time to POAS again Lucy

Lucy1308 · 20/05/2016 14:14

I might just pee on a fiver instead- probably be the same result haha!! May do another in the morning to see what it reckons, not holding out any hope til I can actually photograph the line!! Maybe I'll try a digi then I can't misinterpret it!!

MrsKittenPie · 20/05/2016 20:17

snowy - glad your family are so supportive and this month will fly by, who knows you could get your BFP before you even have your appointment! Grin

Lucy1308 · 20/05/2016 20:21

So I did POAS and got BFN. No idea what's going on with me but just had a lovely cuddle with my friend's 4 month old boy who is just absolutely adorable so that helped. Considering how weepy I've been this week I thought it would make it worse but actually he was so adorable he just made me giggle like a little girl haha. Anyway I'm going to wait for AF to arrive- from some research it seems pretty common for it to be like 7+ weeks after coil removal to be "normal" which would make a change so I'm going to chill out and stop crying all the time (I hope).

Have a nice weekend ladies- hope to see lots of BFPs come Monday!!

MrsKittenPie · 20/05/2016 20:26

lucy - sorry for the bfn but yes I think it can take several weeks for af after the coil. Glad you had cuddles though.

Pirsy1 · 20/05/2016 20:50

Just catching up!

Sorry about the BFN Lucy. Yes maybe just taking a little while for things to settle post coil removal. Dont worry.

Snowy I think you are right to go for a private appointment. Sometimes you just cant wait any longer.

Kitten have you been reunited with your DH today?

I think AF is due next week. Ive got no expectations of a BFP this month. We're going on holiday in June so looking forward to that.

MrsKittenPie · 20/05/2016 23:08

Hi pirsy - yes reunited and dtd done Grin, did an opk today too, even though I promised myself I was going to be relaxed. The line was quite dark but not a positive so I've either missed the surge or it's not yet happened. We will see - I have no doubt af will arrive as normal either way. Can you believe dh said he felt pressured as he knew I was pouncing on him because it was that time??!!! I didn't mention ovulation or anything - honestly he is so infuriating at times! It's not much to ask from him - dtd- surely?! I don't share any of my ttc obsession with him at all as I know it would put him right off

MrsKittenPie · 20/05/2016 23:09

Keeping fingers crossed for you next week pirsy - it's good you've got a holiday to look forward to as well

snowy1982 · 21/05/2016 08:18

Kitten fingers crossed that will happen. One of the clinics came back to me, they would be able to see us within a week if we want so that's good. Men and their 'feeling pressure', as if they can even comprehend the pressure we all feel.

Lucy sorry about BFN, hate how complicated having been on BC can make things.

Pirsy I am keeping my fingers crossed for you this week. You going anywhere nice in June? I can't wait for my holiday in July Smile

Pirsy1 · 21/05/2016 08:32

Kitten I totally sympathise. These DHs are hard to manage. Im still not sure what the best approach is. This month my DH said 'cant we just wait for IVF now' ... I was so shocked and was like 'if you think Im crazy now, wait til we're doing IVF'. Seriously all they need to do is DTD its not too much to ask!!

Snowy we are going to Provence for a week. Im counting down now! XX

snowy1982 · 21/05/2016 08:47

Oh lovely Pirsy, we are going to Paris, then down to Toulous for a wedding, then hiring a car and driving along the south coast down to Nice, so excited.

Ha, just waiting for IVF, does he not realise that with all the drugs etc IVF is even crazier than TTC unaided. Poor DH's, they really are clueless

MrsKittenPie · 21/05/2016 09:49

snowy - that's good about the clinic being that quick. If we had the opportunity moneywise and dh was on board with tests etc then I'd do ivf too like a shot.
pirsy - I know, they've got no idea about pressure!
Both your holidays sound amazing - I'm jealous!

Pirsy1 · 21/05/2016 10:02

Snowy that sounds brill! Yes I explained it to him, all the hormones etc and how much harder it will be than just DTD a few times over FW. I guess they just have to provide a sample though!

snowy1982 · 21/05/2016 15:30

So AF is really determined to mess with my head this month. 4 days late and instead of my normal 5 days of light to medium flow, I had 1 day of really heavy and painful, 1 day of light and then today just a tiny bit of spotting Angry

MrsKittenPie · 21/05/2016 18:21

snowy - how rubbish, af does mess with us sometimes - I went through a time last year of about 3 months where af was really light instead of my usual heavy and each time I thought it was implantation- stupid af and stupid bodies

snowy1982 · 21/05/2016 19:05

Am just so used to my cycles being a certain way, don't like it when the change as it makes me worry there is something more sinister going on (I'm am a none for being a worrier)

Pirsy1 · 22/05/2016 09:31

Snowy I think sometimes they are just a bit different - my AF was heavier than usual for me last month and lasted longer too.

Sometimes I get a bit of spotting a couple of months before AF. The first few times it happened I comvinced myself it was implantation Kitten, now I know better!

I spent my whole day yesterday stripping wallpaper. A whole day to do one room. Im going back for round 2 today Angry

snowy1982 · 22/05/2016 09:43

I know Pirsy, have just got so used to mine being a certain way all the time, it makes me rethink what I thought I knew about my cycles.

Lucy1308 · 22/05/2016 21:19

pirsy I bloody hate stripping wallpaper- makes me properly mad that it won't all just come off nicely!!

snowy I'm annoyed for you that AF is messing you about- it's one thing for her to turn up and quite another that she decides things aren't good enough for her so needs to bigger about!! CakeFlowers

In other news I have stopped feeling like hell and have decided to do OPKs. Find attached today's offerings- top pair are this morning and bottom pair this evening. I do have some dull right sided pain but that could just be too much Sunday dinner and a glass or two of wine talking!! Is it even possible to have a second LH surge without a period between the two? Maybe the first one didn't manage ovulation?! Anyway please feel free to muse...

A gentle caress or a deep wipe? A real symptom or a load of old tripe? Join Prty's gang to rejoice or gripe!
snowy1982 · 23/05/2016 06:56

Can't help much with this Lucy, I don't know if it's possible or not, definitely looks like there is from you picks? Have you had any bleeding at all since the last surge?

karryk · 23/05/2016 07:19

Hello everyone :) just dropping in. Due to test tomorrow..it's a bit earlier than I'd like but due to the steroid programme I'm on I have to do it 10dpo or thereabouts! No real symptoms so I'm not getting my hopes up but I'll report back :)

I distracted myself by cleaning windows yesterday. If nothing else I'll have a very clean house!

Lucy1308 · 23/05/2016 07:33

No bleeding at all since the last surge. Very strange!! We shall see what happens!!

karryk you can come do mine next if you like? Fingers crossed for your BFP!!

glitterpoppy · 23/05/2016 07:56

Not sure lucy but looks like it on the pics, our bodies are so confusing!!

No news for me at the moment. DH did his SA on Thursday so just waiting for our appointment Friday now to discuss all.

Got a spa day today with my sister, so looking forward to a massage and chill. May talk to her about everything as at the minute nobody really knows apart from a couple of ladies at work (who I needed to tell as I was having lots of doctors appointments) and one friend. The friend isn't really there for me though so feel if I talk to my sister it may help get it all off my mind. As good as my DH is, he doesn't understand sometimes!
