Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here because you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2531973-Christmas-is-here-but-its-not-the-turkey-thats-getting-basted-with-symptoms-to-spot-and-festive-cheer-Prty-and-the-gang-are-getting-BFPS-this-year?pg=39&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.
  4. This thread is intended for support - both giving and receiving. If someone helps you then please be kind and return that to another TTCer.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all of my lovelies xx

Yes that's true, feel nervous but got to try stay positive. I'm a real worrier so that may be difficult.. Think I could do with spa days every month!!

snowy1982 · 27/05/2016 18:13

Am a worrier too so I def recommend spa days

Lucy1308 · 27/05/2016 19:07

I highly recommend finding yourself a lovely scented candle- I have the NEOM Real Luxury and Tranquillity ones which are spendy but really nice!! And finding a good meditation/relaxation playlist on Spotify. I did this the other week and it really chilled me out and I felt a lot better afterwards. Hot bath, dark room with candle and music- bliss!! Not quite as good as a proper spa day but lots less expensive!!!

glitterpoppy · 27/05/2016 20:18

Good idea Lucy, might do that. Also mentioned spa days to DH and he said we shouldn't be spending that type of money every month.. Guess he's right I suppose!

Pirsy1 · 27/05/2016 22:35

Sorry, very long day at work and only just home. Poppy, Im sorry the second SA confirmed a problem. Your poor DH, hope he is ok and hope you're ok too. However as Snowy said you have a clear onward plan and I think you are right to stay positive. You never know, we might be doing IVF / ICSI together. Xx

glitterpoppy · 28/05/2016 07:57

I actually thought about you pirsy and at least we will hopefully have each other if we are going through it similar times. In the doctors words we didn't have a cat in hells chance getting pregnant without the ICSI / IVF Shock

karryk · 28/05/2016 08:17

Morning all Flowers

Wishing everyone a lovely weekend.

Still waiting for af to arrive properly...hate this spotting Angry

Couldn't sleep so started looking at ivf stuff online - although I was never under any illusions about my age and decreasing fertility, I'd never really paid any attention to how things like ivf work. God I've been naive Blush I didn't even know the cut-off was 39 in most places. Now I'm glad we decided not to do an extension to the new house after all!! Might need those pennies in the bank!

I'm just doing that early morning panic-googling....lol...time to put the phone down and concentrate on tiles and kitchen units Grin

X

MummyBex1985 · 28/05/2016 12:03

So I'm on CD29 or CD1, not sure yet. AF cramps and due today but nothing yet. Another BFN this morn and I'm out of ICs now. Not buying any more either, after 13 months I'm fed up with it all now.

Don't qualify for NHS IVF and don't want to get fertility tests in case there's a problem and that's the end of it all.

This sucks. Sad

TMI26 · 28/05/2016 16:10

Question for everyone, does anyone use ovulation test strips and NOTget a positive result stall? I have resorted to using OpKs now that we have hit the one year mark in ttc, I started early as I have an unregulated cycle but I am due in a week and a half and I have had nothing for two weeks? Always a negative result!

MummyBex1985 · 28/05/2016 20:48

And OFC AF is now here.

FFS. Sad

Pirsy1 · 30/05/2016 08:57

AF here in full flow this morning for me too. I was starting to let my imagination run away with me but deep down I knew it would show up. Anyway the good things about it are that I can eat and drink whatever I want at my brother's birthday next weekend, ditto for my holiday, and next FW should fall over our holiday.

snowy1982 · 30/05/2016 09:25

Morning ladies, sorry for the absence this weekend, I was having a relaxing, switched off weekend. Had a lovely BBQ with my BF (the one I'm doing BM for) and her fiancé, and she bought a voucher for a local spa as she knows how down I've been lately over the TTC business, so nice of her!

On a not so good note, my body has decided to mess up on this cycle again. FW was supposed to start yesterday going by counting the days. Have been doing CB OPS's (the ones that are supposed to identify 4 days for DTD). So have been doing the OPK's since Friday and were all negative. We had planned to start DTD EOD from yesterday, but we were both feeling a bit delicate yesterday so decided to wait until today. Got up this morning and OPK was saying today was peak fertility, so I am either ovulating today or tomorrow which would be 2-3 days early, which has just thrown all my plans out of sync

Lucy1308 · 30/05/2016 21:02

Sounds like you've had a lovely weekend Snowy despite the annoying ovulation kit/silly body situation. Although maybe you'll be in luck- you see so many people on here saying that the month they fell pregnant they thought they were out as they were sure they mistimed DTD. So huge fingers crossed!!!

I am still firmly crossing my legs and failing to spot even a single symptom that I can't say is definitely not normal for me. I actually wouldn't be hugely disheartened to see AF turn up this time as I'm sort of sick of not really knowing what's going on. At least if she turns up I can start again and have a good reason to cry and eat cake

snowy1982 · 31/05/2016 14:33

Yes Lucy I did, and the weather has been just fantastic so that made it even better.

I tell myself this every cycle and also ignore myself when I do but symptom spotting is bad, from what I can gather, the early symptoms of PG are so similar to AF and also very difficult to detect, so I don't think a lack of noticeable symptoms necessarily means that much.

So.... i'm officially into my last TWW before (potentially) biting the bullet and going private, so understandably I am already anxious and know this is going to be a tough one (especially with the early OV as am not 100% when I should be expecting AF now). Had more reflexology last night and she said she thought I was ovulating on my right side as it felt more 'folicular' so told DH to aim right but not sure if he pulled it off Smile. Going to try and squeeze in another DTD tomorrow just incase OPK, my OV pains and reflexologist were all wrong, but am pretty sure they weren't. Really hope the unexpected early OV doesn't through a spanner in the works.

Lucy1308 · 31/05/2016 19:15

Weather was super!! Less so now mind... But we can't have it all!! I'm failing to spot any symptom at all- not even my usual rattiness that I get when I roughly should be due on! Haven't bought any tests yet so sitting on my hands.

Huge fingers crossed for you this time snowy, hopefully you catch lucky before going private!!!

karryk · 31/05/2016 21:32

Fingers crossed snowy Smile x

On day 3 of af here....waiting impatiently for it to be gone.

snowy1982 · 31/05/2016 21:43

Weather is still great where I am Lucy and thankfully seems to be set to stay like it for the rest of the week. It would be pretty good to get BFP now that we've decided to go private, but am not getting my hopes up for it

Lucy1308 · 01/06/2016 10:09

Very jealous snowy the weather here is bloody freezing, blowing a gale and trying to rain!! It's grim up north so they say Wink. I totally have my fingers crossed for you- would be really lovely to have it happen before!!

snowy1982 · 01/06/2016 14:02

I'm up north too, but north in Ireland Smile

Fingers are always crossed

Lucy1308 · 01/06/2016 15:39

Well apparently further north than us is glorious!! I'm off to Scotland since apparently their weather is nicer lol. What you mean it's not raining in Ireland?! Clearly Yorkshire is not the place to be at the moment!!

Just been to see my best friend who is 18 weeks pregnant. Absolutely delighted for her but mildly annoyed that I can't even test yet!! Boo!! This this miserable weather is making me miserable!! for a change

snowy1982 · 01/06/2016 15:52

Nope, there isn't a cloud in the sky here for a change

MrsKittenPie · 02/06/2016 19:59

Hi everyone - how are you?
10 or 11 dpo here and bfns, sigh, back to the drawing board again. At least I can drink this weekend. Another baby bomb- I think I just work with super fertile women who only need to look at their partners to get pregnant, apart from me of course. 2 years next week of ttc

TMI26 · 02/06/2016 20:23

Hey snowy, my sister recommended reflexology, it has worked wonders for her (her problems are not pregnancy related) I'm a little sceptical....what are your thoughts / experience?

snowy1982 · 02/06/2016 20:46

TMI well I find it really relaxing, but apart from that so far I can't say much else about it. I am only going for TTC issues and obviously so far it hasn't worked, but then this is my first full cycle doing it so I imagine if it was going to work it would take longer than 1 cycle

snowy1982 · 02/06/2016 20:47

Kitten having a BFN at 10 or 11 DPO doesn't mean your out yet, could still be too early
