So AF got me this afternoon!! Trying not to get down in the dumps (although I just watched 'one born every minute' on catch-up and sobbed!)
Dusting myself off and hoping for better luck in April! A few stats:
Age-33
TTC-5th cycle
DC-1 DS (3.5 years old)
Anyone else at the start of their cycle and trying something new in the hope of a more successful month?!

footprints I stay put and lie down for 5-10 mins but then go for a wee. Every time they ejaculate squillions of the stuff gets up there - hopefully right up by your cervix - so the ones that comes out when you wee were never gonna be part of the party.

Had a cry at work today - emotional!

I feel like I've got period pains - slighting cramping over the Lower abdomen but I'm not due until Tuesday. Really hope it's not an early AF

Jod- are yourboobs usually so sore before AF? I got to CD43!! However I did ovulate late too but was still 23dpo, I had AF cramps that last week before AF. No sore boobs or CM and I was a BFN. I'm positive for u! As really think u are going to be a BFP. When are u testing???

Sucha- yes I was tempted to get on the prosecco tonight. Every time we dtd just as soon as the swimmers are released I do suddenly say in my head.. "go on you swimmers.. Swim for your life" lol!! Feel bad that it takes over my thoughts. Maybe the prosecco will help concentrate on the moment rather than the possible outcome.

Radders- yes I was worried about Cystis, as I do suffer a bit from that.

Here I am! What a week 😫 Been totally wiped out with what turned out to be flu. It's been horrific. I don't know if I ovulated before this all kicked off (Sunday), or if those pains on Monday were my ovaries trying to release an egg but couldn't. I've barely eaten a thing all week, although I have forced down the odd brazil nut, dried apricot, and chunk of pineapple! Really wanted to DTD after expected OD but was way to sick by then. Haven't been taking my supplements either because I haven't been eating dinner.
Radders/Sucha, amazing how much BDing you managed!! You've definitely given yourself the best chance.
Jod can't believe you're still waiting for an answer!!

I still have mild period like cramps so anxious to see if AF comes tomorrow. I still have CM though so doesn't really make sense

I'm going to test tomorrow and if its negative will wait until Tuesday/Wednesday. Tuesday officially AF due

radders! Why were you crying at work? I hope you're okay. Cramping is normal for PMS and BFP so nothing to hang your hat on sadly.

I seem to have swung 360 from convinced AF coming to being mentally pregnant now. Dangerous as could be in for a big fall next week 😕

Sometimes having that 'feeling' is the best sign Sucha! What CD are you on? When will you test??

Anyone able to give me a short lesson in CM, what to look out for at what stage?? Only thing I know is that it should turn EW before/during ovulation, then creamy shortly after. But what do you all look out for in the 2ww??

Tee- from the other post I was on before a few ladies got their BFP's and they all seemed to have either creamy CM or clear CM and quite a bit of it. I suppose each body is different though.

So today was a little bit confusing as I I took a opk test and the line was dark but not really as dark as the control line so I was unsure if I was near to ovulation or not. Luckily I had one spare clearblue digital opk left from last month so I used it and I got that big flashy smiley face!!
Was so excited! So thank goodness we dtd the last few days ! Will try tonight too to make sure.. And then tomorrow (hopefully)

Anyone got a really dark line darker than the control line on the cheapy tests on Amazon?

tee I'm on day 23 AF is due Thursday. I'll wait until then to test. I hate testing! Staring at that single line and feeling your heart sink

On the other hand love a positive OPK footprints sounds like you've times things perfectly.

After ovulation it goes creamy/sticky and then when get closer to AF it becomes dry. If it stays thick and creamy that is a sign of pregnancy.

Mine hasn't dried up yet but it's not thick and creamy.

Footprints so happy you got a BFP! According to smep when get positive opk should Dtd that day 2 days more and have a break for one day and then do it again. That's what we tried to do hence why so much Dtd.

Still no AF but interesting to read your CM comments as I was about to ask about it. Mine is creamy / clear and quite a bit of it? I thought if AF was on route it would have dried up.

My boobs don't usually hurt in lead up to AF. (I think someone asked me that)

I calmed down this afternoon and spent the day with my oldest having quality time.

Well so disappointed that I fell asleep last night before dtd. Typical timing. So 5am this morning I woke poor DH up!
He wasn't best pleased dtd regardless . So I'm hoping I covered the chances. Cd15, cd13,cd12,cd11 cd9. Maybe again tonight! My temp took a dip cd13, then up cd14, same temp cd15. So don't think it's over yet.
