So AF got me this afternoon!! Trying not to get down in the dumps (although I just watched 'one born every minute' on catch-up and sobbed!)
Dusting myself off and hoping for better luck in April! A few stats:
Age-33
TTC-5th cycle
DC-1 DS (3.5 years old)
Anyone else at the start of their cycle and trying something new in the hope of a more successful month?!

CD30 I don't know what to do. If I don't get AF soon I likely will. No sign of the witch yet. A part of me is hoping that maybe it was just too early to test.
I still have a lot of symptoms. And I still have that spotting which reminded me of implantation in my mind

I feel a lot less broody now that we are officially TTC... last two cycles I didn't OV until at least CD20... so I've got a bit of a wait until much interesting happens.

Sucha, I just googled 'dreams progesterone' and apparently vivid dreams during LP can be common!

radders, I too am dubious about my thermometer. Last 3 days for me: 36.21, 36.47, 35.99, and I do it at the same time! I've heard it's more accurate if you temp vaginally, and while it's tempting to get better data, I'm not sure I could bring myself to do that! Plus you are meant to temp before moving and how on earth could one manage vaginal temping without moving!!!??

radders I'd try and hold out if you can? If you get a negative you'll not be any wiser as could be false at this point. I'm so with you being over the TWW though

CD 10 hi ladies!

Footprints I'm right behind you waiting for ovulation. When do you normally ovulate? I'm usually CD 15 to CD22. I've bought some cheapy OPKS to give me some idea.

Going to start the dtd but DH keeps making comments about having to hide from me. It's definitely my choice to go for number three, as he says he doesn't 'not' want to enough to say no. I don't think he's going to make it easy though! Going to try the SMEP plan so will need loads of energy, how do people get into the mood for so much dtd?

nimisha I find when I'm ovulating in really frisky!! So DTD isn't a problem! finding time between work and two young kids though can be challenging. We are Secret Shaggers!!

Nimisha, last month I Ov day 23! But was first month off the pill so I have no idea about this month. Not seen anything promising yet. Been using the cheap Opk sticks & temping.

My temps been all over the place - looks like a rollercoaster!!

Jod, i sympathise as was in that place last month although I didn't get any BFP's. The waiting makes u feel like u are going crazy.

Radders, I think u should wait as even though the fr pick up BFP early I still think u better wait til at least 14dpo onwards. Or after when AF due. I know u must b eager to know

Oh and working on the DH is tricky! He is tired

Just worked out I might be ovulating over the Bank Hokiday weekend and I'm not working for once so plenty of DTD!!

I literally Dtd asleep one night haha was so tired and not up for it at all but thought if we don't do it then I will regret it. OH is quite good and sort of says common we need to make a little baby..!

My friend said last night that when she starts trying she will be really cool about it and no opks or sex on this day that day. I thought to myself yea that's exactly what I said!! It's different when you actually start trying.

I will be waiting out but will prob do one on my birthday on Saturday :)

Then wait after that and see if AF comes due Tuesday if have 26 day cycle like last month.

Racja that's good about ovulating over the weekend ... Yay ... Makes it a lot easier!

Physicskate I know I don't fancy doing it vaginally! I think you have to wait longer to? I don't know if I'm putting in my mouth right either .. One side of my tongue gets a different temp to the other!
I'm taking it with a pinch of salt but doing it out of interest in case it does mean something. I didn't test in time to see my temps hike up after ovulation .. Just seeing if they dip down now

raddersmrs it's about babies being born at the Portland Hospital, they pay £20k to have a baby in what is basically a five star hotel! Looking forward to the bank hol, better shave my legs ha ha

Jem- my relaxed approach lasted two days! Now I feel like I could work into a fertility clinic.

Racja- start planning your weekend , I find, without planning anything and get that lovin saucy intention in early that night we get a bit tired and the excitement diminishes.
Radders- hilarious, u dtd when asleep! I felt a bit like that last night. Was so tired and really not in the mood but just kept thinking I could be super fertile tomorrow morning. Don't think the DH would appreciate it if he knew. I just told him I wanted it quick! Lol

Nimisha- My DH feels the same, if it happens it happens. He doesn't like planning for things otherwise he will stress about bigger house bigger car etc.. Sleepless nights etc.. He would like another if I do. So I have to hide my temp charts, opks & Internet research all the day!

Feeling a bit better today. Went to check on my opks earlier to reassure myself that I actually got a positive.

Keep feeling paranoid we missed eggo but we DTD on days 12,14,16,17+18 and I got my positive on day 15.

I'm not sure what length my cycle is now TBH. I just got the mirena out on the 23rd March. I'm only guessing day 31 as I'm convinced I ovulated on 28th.
I still have symptoms yes but I guess they could be symptoms of AF or Even side effects of getting the coil removed.
Continuing to DTD as often as we can just in case! Hubby isn't complaining anyway!
I can never remember what everyone else says when I'm typing on the app. Hold on best go back and see.....

Wow Jem that's impressive, I think you've given yourself the best chance there.

DH doesn't like being put under pressure "having to dtd just because the thermometer says so". I don't know whether I did the right thing telling him that I didn't think I was fertile, I just wanted to get going and dtd as much as possible. I let slip I'd done a negative OPK as well I don't think I'd told him I planned to. Think I might have to play it cool for a bit, though I will be completely lying with my legs in the air after dtd like you Jod, so won't look so cool then.

CD 25 here.
Don't think we DTD enough this month, I have had two back to back trips away with work, all during my fertile phase according to the app. We managed a few times but I am not convinced it was enough.
Guess I will know this time next week (AF due next Thursday).

I do feel bloated, but have put this down to way too much yummy food.

Funny one night I tried that when he went to toilet. I could hear him coming back and quickly flung my legs over to the side but rolled off the bed. He walked in to see my bum in the air and on the floor. Killed the passion

Yes Jod- ovulation near. I got a dark opk line just now, tingly boobs and slight tummy ache so I think it's possible this is the day! So glad I convinced hubby half asleep to dtd. I didn't have legs in the air though this time. Glad it's now and not like last month on CD23. Hoping my cycle will be shorter than last month.

Go Footprints enjoy your night of romance. I can definately play it cool as I've started spotting again and the doctor said no dtd until it stops due to the risk of infection after the camera.I thought it had stopped but apparently not.

Are you doing any OPKs physics ? I bought some internet cheapies so it will be interesting to see whether they pick up an LH surge. I'm only doing them once per day after work so I might miss it.

Fingers crossed newhair for that BFP. It only takes once!
