I'm not sure if I'm going mad or not. Took an Internet cheap yesterday and got what I thought was an evap one, just taken this one and I can't work it out!
Any help? Tia

I see a faint line. Did it come up in the time? I fit did then it's no evap.

CuppaBiccieBliss · 28/03/2016 17:30

It came up after 3 minutes. Oh god oh god oh god!

Definitely a faint line there. Was that the wrong answer, by the way?

m33r · 28/03/2016 19:44

Definitely a line. Good luck x

Flossiesmummy · 28/03/2016 20:02

I'd say positive.

Beansprout30 · 28/03/2016 20:02

Looks positive

CuppaBiccieBliss · 28/03/2016 20:03

It couldn't really be at a worse time tbh. We already have 2 dds, in a 2 bed house, I have mental health problems and I'm not sure h9w id cope. But then I feel hugely guilty as there are so many people struggling to conceive Sad
I wish I had another test in the house. Only have some old ovulation sticks from dd2.

How late are you OP? That's v faint and if you are already late I'd question whether this actually a positive.

Threesoundslikealot · 28/03/2016 20:12

Ovulation sticks will work as pregnancy tests, although they are not as sensitive I think. Sorry to say that does look like a line to me but as the PP says very faint for overdue.

CuppaBiccieBliss · 28/03/2016 20:12

I was due on Saturday 26th. It would be so much easier if it was negative

OP posts:
CuppaBiccieBliss · 28/03/2016 20:14

Oh so I can try an ovulation test? I'm definitely not ovulating so a positive would be a positive pregnancy test? Christ I sound thick don't I?!

OP posts:
HungryHorace · 28/03/2016 20:16

Yes, use an OPK and see what it says.

Threesoundslikealot · 28/03/2016 20:16

No, just stressed! Yes, it's the same hormone for ovulation and pregnancy so you'll be positive. But as I said, they may be less sensitive than IC pregnancy tests, so a negative is not necessarily a negative for certain, IYSWIM.

HungryHorace · 28/03/2016 20:18

Here's an explanation how it works:

Sorry, love. That looks positive to me.

HungryHorace · 28/03/2016 20:43

To me too.

If you buy a test tomorrow make sure it's a pink dye one. Superdrug early tests are good.

I hope that things can work out for you. Flowers

ScandiManny · 28/03/2016 20:46

That ovulation test is negative. Besides you get a rise in LH just before your period starts so it could also mean you're about to come on. Also a hpt would show a positive before an opk.

Another hpt, preferably with first wee of the day, is the only way you'll know for sure.

Threesoundslikealot · 28/03/2016 20:49

The ovulation tests don't need a strong line to be positive for pregnancy; they work differently in this context.

CuppaBiccieBliss · 28/03/2016 20:50

Will definitely get another test tomorrow.

This is such a mess. For goodness sakes I'm 28, I feel like a foolish teenager!

Regardless of that, Three LH rises before your period anyway so unless it's a blazing positive you can't possibly call it one way or the other until it's confirmed by either a positive hpt or the arrival of your period. That opk could mean either hcg is present or LH has risen due to impending period so it gives no clues at all really.
