Antibiotics and TTC

Hi,
I've just had a selective salpiography (trying to unblock my tubes) and the Dr gave me antibiotics (Augmentin and Doxycycline). Reading the info. leaflets I can't TTC whilst taking them, but does anybody know how long after the 7 day course these stay in the body? Thanks

I think it's 2 weeks because today I had to go to doc and was just on antibiotics and he needed to give me a shot and asked how long I have been off the antibiotics and I told him 13 days so he said it was out of my system and ok to give me the vaccination. I was on Keflex as basically an experiment to try and control any type of infection that may be causing me not to get pregnant, they worked years ago. I tried for 7 months with my 3rd and then he put me on antibiotics and the next month I fell pregnant! Hopefully it works this time. Good luck, but I would say two weeks.
