Spotting or period?!

Hi there,

I normally have really heavy periods from the start till the end. I'm not due to start until 26th March.

I started with brown spotting on Sunday 20th, and still having it, sometimes pink stringy mucus. It's not getting any heavier.
I have cramps and sore breasts. This is unusual for me as if I do spot it's at the end after all the heavy bleeding is out the way.

Does this sound like implantation or my period taking its time? Getting nervous! I've done hpt but they were negative.

Forgot to add that it's not a constant bleed, it's off and on when I wipe xx

There's just no way of knowing. I find reading stuff on here what applies to one person doesn't often to another. I've never had a cycle longer than 33 days or shorter than 29. But last month I started to brown spot for a whole week before Af came. 39 day cycle. Our bodies play tricks on us. Your not out til aunt Flo shows her ugly mug, try to relax and not test all the time
