Out for another month. Tips for keeping yourself positive...

So, AF has reared her supremely ugly head again. I feel incredibly lucky to have a really lovely dd (2) as I know lots of people may never even have the chance for one child. However, I would desperately love another child to give her a sibling but it's taking longer than I hoped. So my question is this- how do you keep yourself going each time you realise that the game is up again for another month? I went into TTC dc #2 feeling much more chilled than last time and I don't want it to take over my world or take away from enjoying time with my lovely little girl. Hopefully this thread can help others too xxx

I'm not full of foolproof answers but I allow myself 24hrs after my period starts to mope, feel upset, etc and then I tell myself to snap out of it and look forward to the next month of trying.
Easier said than done but it seems to help keep me positive!

I wish wine helped!! I just went and sat and watched my little girl sleeping for a bit last night. She looked so beautiful - it was medicine for my soul. Chocolate helped too :o)

I just want this so badly. I didn't think I would feel so strongly second time around- but I really do.

Throwing myself into making an award winning easter bonnet this week instead!!!! Xx

I'm in the same boat as you, OP.

DS is two and we are trying again.

Had a miscarriage at Christmas, God it was rubbish.

Eating well, taking prenatal vitamins, tracking cycle on Ovia. Got ovulation tabs.

We might skip a month this month as have a lot going on (I'm away and want to have a drink, etc)

I don't want it to take over my world : but I'm 34 now and I feel the clock ticking!

We have been trying for that long but I do try and take a 'whatever will be, will be' which can be hard.

I just concentrate on trying to make myself as healthy as possible (not always easy!)
