Going to a baby shower

Im going to a baby shower today. Its been 6 months with 1 period and bfn galore. This is going to be painful and littered with questions

I find "actually We're struggling to conceive, it's very a difficult time for us" is a great response to the persistent questioner. Shuts them up and makes them think twice about asking others. But I'm happy to say such things. (Currently I'm getting "so when are you having another" ds is 10 weeks old, when I say we won't be and they say "it's mean to have an only child" or something similar I respond with "I have significant complications from his birth which makes having another a bad idea" they look very embarrassed after that).

I just find it really rude when people ask, they have no consideration that things may not be easy for them.

So someone thought i was pregnant when she last saw me as i wasnt drinking. She went on and on. Felt like gobbing her silly cow
