Grrrrr, at you for not having any, I've had 2 and ds2 is 20wks, didn't have cs though. see you on the aug thread

i think you can conceive before you have a period, when breastfeeding..! not an expert on this, but as you are not sure when your periods are going to come back , you could ovulate and get pregnant, before having a period...

mummytosteven · 02/01/2007 22:02

my friend didn't have her first period until her baby was over a year, once she stopped the night feeds her periods started back. Agree with Lulu, it is possible to get PG before your periods return, as you may ovulate before your first period.

Gingeme · 02/01/2007 22:04

Yes yes you can. Please stop now. I had my 2nd ds because of exactly the same thing. I remember my mw wagging her finger at me saying'breast feeding is not a form of contraception'. ds2 is the proof. Stop now!!!!

It is anybodies guess when your periods will return, but yes you can conceive before then.

Noone can predict when they will come back - when the frequency of feeds naturlaly cuts down perhaps, when you introduce solids and/or formula or any time before or afterwards ! As you ovulate a couple of weeks beforehand you won't know until after the event and they may not even be regular anyway.
