haven't posted for a while so sorry for not responding sooner. have explained why on bubbly 1973 thread. Had some disappointing news from a so called fertility expert. I've not paid any attention to it but still found it upsetting that someone can be so blase about my fertility...basically that I should give up trying as no chance of me conceiving ever again!

still trying but naturally, think its best way for us as fertility treatment too stressful and had only one clinic to choose from and not very supportive/sensitive.

forgot to mention though, from what you said about your own cycle it sounds like your ovulation is quite irregular.

I have read everywhere that the luteal phase always remains constant so if ovulate on day 11/12 on a 26 day cycle lp is 13/14. Wouldn't that mean that if ovulated on day 9 cycle would end on day 22/24 i.e irregular ovulation should cause irregular cycles if what they write in the books is correct.

am going to start using opks again to double check if and when I ovulate. Do you manage on one packet? reply on the other thread if you like to avoid confusion
