I thought I may as well start up the April bus since af rudely kicked me off the February bus, and my dh isn't here for March!

Been ttc #4 since September last year. Tricky as dh works abroad so much! I think I'm due to ov on the 3rd of April and dh is home on the 1st, so fx we catch it! I'll be testing round about 17th April.

Anyone else ready to hop on board to keep me company? I have a large bag of mini eggs to share Grin

How's everyone doing? Fairly sure I'll o today (+ve opk yesterday on usual day 14 for me, just waiting for temp rise tomorrow) but because I somehow misread the calender have already bd 4 of last 5 days...need to get enthusiasm up for tonight I guess. Anyone else starting 2ww now?

Sparrowlegs248 · 29/03/2016 08:48

Blimey chocolate 4 out of 5?!?! That's good going! Fwiw the month I got my bfp we dtd twice. Days 8 and 10(short cycles)

Blondie87 · 29/03/2016 09:10

I think I'm in the tww with #2.... Not been charting and only had 4 cycles since having DS 11 months so not sure exactly when I ovulated. Always had irregular cycles before having baby, but the past four have been relatively regular. Had ewcm Saturday-Monday and dtd Sunday so I suppose there's a chance I ovulated and timed intercourse correctly. I'm trying not to obsess too much like last time we were ttc as it took 10 months and I don't want to go down that route of looking out gif every twinge but it's hard!
Searching I'll join you!

GiraffesCantDoMentalArithmetic · 29/03/2016 11:10

I'll join you in the 2WW. Just waiting for FF to confirm but got a temp rise this morning. They've been a bit erratic with travelling and getting up in the night with DD but I think that's it.

GiraffesCantDoMentalArithmetic · 29/03/2016 11:12

What do you think??? And I am seriously chuffed with that line of XXXXX!

nataliefruit · 29/03/2016 11:35

I haven't even ovulated yet this month and I'm already completely obsessed! Counting down the date until ovulation probably isn't going to help make a baby but I can't seem to help myself this month!

Good luck to everyone in the 2ww

underrugsswept · 29/03/2016 13:02

Nice Giraffe! I took my temp really early today (5am) and FF started questioning whether I'd ovulated so I've discarded it. Fingers crossed it's back up again tomorrow. Confused

Saria · 29/03/2016 13:36

I definitely ovulated this month (at least ClearBlue seemed to think so), DTD at the right times and the wait to find out is driving me crazy... no signs of AF yet (due on Thursday I think) but I daren't do a test yet it's all I can think about... I'm supposed to be working and my brain just can't focus! ARGH! DH doesn't want us to do a test until we're sure AF is super late... I don't think I can wait that long...

babyinthacorner · 29/03/2016 15:36

Woah giraffes - hi five! That's dedication! We only managed 3 times this cycle... Blush
Everything crossed for you my love X

Under I hate it when FF does that. Fx for you too. Very jealous of the amount of EWCM on your chart... Now there's a sentence I never thought I'd say!!!

No news here. Boobs still sore and no sign of AF. So if it doesn't show tonight, I'm officially one day late and have had my longest luteal phase since November. Either vit B6 is doing its job or altitude is fucking with me... I HATE THIS LIMBO!!! Why didn't I pack any tests?????

GinandJazzHands · 29/03/2016 16:54

baby my money is on you being pregnant! Fx for you - I feel that Bridget Jones moment at the Pharmacy coming on! Just sat at the airport myself, not feeling preggo at all so treating myself to one gin and tonic. I hope you enjoy the slopes despite the stress! Hi to all newbies too!

GinandJazzHands · 29/03/2016 17:02

Hey trying I meant to say I think your feelings are perfectly normal and totally understandable. TTC is such stressful business! I met an old friend who has just had a baby and found myself inwardly wincing when she mentioned that she conceived within two weeks of deciding to start trying. She said it in a 'by the way, make sure you are really ready if/when you decide to have one, as it can happen so quick' sort of a way, but it was pretty smug. DH and I had a good joke about it afterwards, we've only been trying since late November, but I can imagine the same comment in a couple more months time will make me want to smack someone!

underrugsswept · 29/03/2016 17:24

Haha thanks baby. The timing was a bit weird this month though. It usually starts 3/4 days before a positive OPK and lasts 1 day afterwards. My money is also on you being knocked up Wink

Dutchy88 · 29/03/2016 20:20

If my cycles have returned to normal I'm in the tww, if not who knows?!

We dtd 12 days out of the last fortnight which o think with a 6 month old isn't bad going 😉

underrugsswept · 29/03/2016 21:02

I took a random OPK today and got a faint line. It definitely went back to a complete negative after my two positives. What's that about?!

underrugsswept · 29/03/2016 21:36

Please don't tell me to have sex. I just want to read MN in bed with my hot water bottle!

weechops · 29/03/2016 21:51

Bloody good going Dutchy!!

Jealous of all the lovely holidays right now. I'm desperate for dh to get home on Sunday so I can get a rest! Well, after lots of bonking of course!

under opk's usually always have a faint line throughout the month, they just get darker as you get your surge. No more sex needed ha!

Anyone watching One Born? I think I can't get any broodier then I watch that :)

giraffe that's certainly dedication to the cause! Chart's looking good too so fingers crossed for you.

DH super late home from work last night but still just managed to get bd in, temp rise this morning so we've given it best shot. Annoyingly ovulation pain on right yesterday which might decrease our chances given previous csection discovery that I don't have a Fallopian tube on that side! Here's hoping left one is feeling very mobile this month.

baby how's things? First month I took b6 had a random 36 day cycle with lots of spotting, like you I was on holiday at time in middle of nowhere so couldn't test either so I guess will never know whether just weird cycle or cp. Went back to normal after that though and definitely longer LP with it (14 days last few cycles up from 10 when periods first returned after dd). You're still in with a shot!

samk15 · 29/03/2016 23:06

Wow I've spent ages reading all of your posts, there is definitely comfort in the solidarity that is shown on here.

I hope we all get our BFP very soon. It's absolutely all consuming ttc isn't it?!

I'm new to all this charting ovulation business, feel like I've got a lot to learn Grin

Sam xx

happysunshineandrainbows · 29/03/2016 23:16

Hi - I'll be hopefully testing on the 28th / 29th April, finally persuaded hubby to just go for it after my next period which is due next week (although I've been crampy and emotional this week so to be honest as my cycle isn't regular I'm expecting it any day now!)

BertieBotts · 29/03/2016 23:38

I think we've been doing it 2 or 3 times a day Blush Month 1, we're a little bit excited Grin

I didn't know OBEM was on again as I'm not in UK but I might look on catch up... I have been watching The Midwives on Youtube and that was partly what spurred me on actually. I want to do it all agaaaain!

ZoeNotAMumYet · 30/03/2016 00:40

Hello everyone. I am new! DH and I recently had "the chat" and are going to start TTC next year. Thought I would join you to follow your journeys and hopefully learn some things! Then this week got a weird bug at the same time as AF on its way and the results managed to convince me, my hubby and my mother (who exclaimed that my boobs were enormous) that I was pg. Turns out not and would have been unlikely as we are still using protection for now but for the first time ever the prospect was genuinely exciting and it almost felt a bit disappointing to have "the witch"! I wish you all a painless tww and eventual sticky beans and lovely pregnancies very soon! Hope I have used the acronyms/terms correctly! :-) xx

ZoeNotAMumYet · 30/03/2016 00:41

Oh yes and we will be TTC #1 and I am 30.

BertieBotts · 30/03/2016 08:59

My mum and sister are leaving tomorrow :( We are in Germany and only get to see them about once every 12-18 months.

DH gave me permission to do a test this morning just in case I am so I can tell them Grin Bless him. It's way too early and I don't think it will come to anything, but I've relented on the basis that I was planning to drink this evening so, you know, might as well check!

The challenge would be how to tell DM and DSis without alerting DS who is 7 and would get way too excited with no context.

samk15 · 30/03/2016 09:48

Bertie that is dedication to the cause! I'm impressed. Hope it goes well for you!

BertieBotts · 30/03/2016 09:51

I peed but nothing to tell, as expected. As you were!
