Can you only get pregnant around the time you are ovulating? For example, I think I ovulated on Boxing day- is there a chance I could get pregnant if I BD now?

why don't you give it a try and find out?

They always say in sex education you can get pregnant anytime!!! So although you are more likely to get pregnant at a peak fertile time, like Tommy said - worth a try!! - least you will have fun finding out!

It does seem odd though doesn't it? If you look at the science, I'm due on a week tomorrow so there isn't enough time is there for the egg to implant. And why would the egg be there????

there is always a chance..!

RubberDuckInLeftoverCurry · 31/12/2006 17:59

It has to take time to travel down the tubes doesn't it? Go for it

Can you ovulate that late on in your cycle?

I suppose it depends if your cycle is regular or it is variable...

Ammy12 · 31/12/2006 18:58

I think its fairly regular- 26 days and I'm sure I ovulated on Tuesday, felt flustered and creamy mucous (tmi). Just wondered if there was much hope for BDing now.

I think there is less of a chance, but where there is a chance you should go for it. I would have sex, enjoy it and you never know. Least you know when you ovulate (keep information every month) and co-inside your sex with ovulation next month if not pregnant this month.

Have fun and best of luck..
