Hi everyone, hope you all had a great weekend.

rainy that's fantastic news about your dad.

No news here either, FF detected ov but then changed it to a day later than it had originally put it at. Which makes me 4dpo. I doubt we've done enough as we only dtd twice last week but I don't really care anymore. In fact I'm starting to wonder why I'm even still bothering, I'm much more interested in planning moving into my new home than thinking about babies!

Kellz92 · 23/05/2016 14:14

Thanks Genghis we enjoyed it so much we stayed another night. DD was at her nanas anyway :)
Was nice to relax and we didnt do much, just bought supplies for when we do our 26mile walk in 2 weeks.

Hope you all had a good weekend too.

Im thinking af is coming early again. slight cramping, so tired, hot and emotional. It could be a symptom for af or bfp but im saying af! no nausea though so yay :)

x

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 24/05/2016 02:16

Ha ha Kellz it must have been good! Wow - 26 mile walk - that is impressive - I hope you bought some blister pads Wink. Is the walk for a particular reason?

It's nice to have something else to think about DizzyN - and no doubt a house move will keep your mind very occupied! After ttcing for so long it's hard not to get discouraged isn't it? I find myself at the stage where I no longer hope/expect a bfp every month, and don't even get upset anymore when AF rocks up. I'm sure that's strange but I think I've just realised (and accepted) that we clearly do have fertility issues, and can kind of detach myself slightly from all the TTC mindf**kery. I do kind of feel sad that I've had to get to this mindset but it has made things easier for me, maybe some sort of self preservation, who knows. Sorry this wasn't supposed to sound negative!

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 24/05/2016 02:19

Whoops, posted too soon. What I really meant is that I get where you're coming from DizzyN. Maybe I should have just wrote that instead Grin

BorisIsBack · 24/05/2016 06:49

Dizzyn are you still getting tests done to get a referal? Sorry I forgot where you are at.

Kellz your walk sounds lovely hope it's somewhere pretty!

Genghis I totally get you on the mind f*ckery of ttc. I used to pee on sticks each month as a matter of course not ever beleiving the results could be possitive.

I'm now 14 weeks can you beleive. I've started to tell people and be open about the ivf and the shortness of infertility. It's amazing how many others are going through it went through similar. One of my best mates at work took clomid for 9 months, another girl I told - good friend of DHs - just had a MC at 8 weeks - she would have been 14 weeks now too. It's amazing how common this is. Really sad Flowers. but, you know what, people get there eventually by some natural miracle or medical intervention. Even on the months when they only DTD once or twice, or on there last chance at clomid.....

Shortness? Shitness! Auto correct on my phone is very polite!

Was lovely genghis

The walk is the Aberdeen KiltWalk, I'm walking for Archie Foundation which is a local charity for children's hospitals in North of Scotland :) got blister socks a and blister plasters lol

Boris it's a walk along the Royal Deeside from Aberdeen out, it will be nice if the weather is nice. Wow 14 weeks already?! Just flying in xx

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 26/05/2016 05:19

That looks great Kellz...and hopefully you will have good weather for it.

Boris it is interesting (and sad) how common fertility issues are, but I like your positive thinking and hopefully we'll all get our bfps by hook or by crook! Also, 14 weeks already?! I'm so pleased it's all going well for you Smile

Hope everyone is keeping well? I'm already counting down to the weekend...mind you, that usually starts from Tuesday.

Kellz92 · 26/05/2016 10:03

genghis i hope the weather is nice too, dont fancy it in the rain haha

I count down from Monday haha!

AF due for me on Saturday. Im CD26 and 8DPO, this last few cycles my spotting has started on CD25 so im hoping im starting to regulate again. Only getting creamy cm, so hopefully i have a normal cycle again :) Hubby wanting me to test already haha! but going to test on Saturday if Af still not here. Temps look good, still a bit all over the shop but hopefully that will calm down next cycle too
xx

Looking good kellz....

Kellz92 · 26/05/2016 10:31

fx boris how are you keeping? x

DizzyNorthernBird · 27/05/2016 08:31

boris my GP has referred me but I'm just waiting for my appointment to come through. She said it would take about a month so it should be here soon. I know two girls at work who are pg, both had rough journeys to get there...it really does help to know we aren't alone in this battle and who knows, there might have been someone nearby listening to you chatting to your friends who feels a little bit better now.

genghis no, not negative, just realistic! It does make it far easier when you just assume there'll be no bfp. Sounds awful but I can't look at those monthly buses threads anymore with the newbies and their 'symptoms'. For some of them it just won't be that easy. I was there once, I cringe about it now. It is sad.

kellz good luck for your walk! I'm at the same point in my cycle as you, 9dpo today (FF says 8dpo but I disagree) so Af will be due on Wednesday night I reckon. My chart is looking quite nice this month also with a nice steady rise, however I go onto my late night shifts tonight and tomorrow night which means the temps will be messed up for the next few days.

Has anyone got anything nice planned for the bank hol weekend? I've got 5 days off next week, hooray!

So I think there's only a few of us left on here now? Sad

Writerwannabe83 · 27/05/2016 08:49

Hi everyone, it's been a long time since I was on this board as it was back in February that I got my BFP but unfortunately I miscarried. My DH wanted to start TTC again straight away but I couldn't face it, however, this cycle I felt ready to try again so here I am.

I'm 5dpo today and symptom spotting like mad. Due to my DH having a nasty sports injury we could only DTD the day before ovulation and the day after so I'm not overly hopeful.

On the topic of infertility, my friend told me last week she's 13 weeks pregnant and she'd been having fertility investigations and treatments for almost 2.5 years in order to get this any. She's only 28 so it shows it can happen at any age.

Any ways, I'm going to read back through the thread and have a catch-up and hopefully I will see some BFPs Grin

Kellz92 · 27/05/2016 08:57

Hi DizzyN

Thank you :) FF says 10 dpo i thought it had been 9dpo, so im around that date lol. Hope your shifts dont much up your temps too much!!

Writer i remember you getting your bfp, im so sorry for your MC, good luck for this cycle!! Im 23 years old so it can really be any age! so happy for her :)

a bit achy today but doesnt really feel like AF just comes and goes. keep running to the loo but its only creamy/watery cm.
CD27 - its a record for me not to be spotting yet even when i was regular so just waiting for it to happen.
This is my chart today....
Looks good but i did an IC this am (DH wanted to, i wanted to wait) but it was bfn so think i could be out.

xx

Welcome to bumsnet
MagpieCursedTea · 27/05/2016 19:09

Kellz I got bfn at 10DPO both times I was pregnant. This time I didn't get the BFP until I was 13DPO so don't lose hope yet!

Hope everyone has a lovely bank holiday weekend!

Kellz92 · 27/05/2016 22:13

Thanks magpie, I bought 4 FRERs as they're buy one get one free so got two packs of 2 lol. Trying to hold out to test xx

DizzyNorthernBird · 28/05/2016 10:51

How things today kellz? Your chart looks great!

Got off work late so didn't go to sleep until 4am, then my alarm went off at 6am Hmm and DP woke me up at 7am. So today's temp can't be trusted at all! It's dropped down slightly which totally ruins the nice upwards curve I had. Grr!

writer I'm so sorry to see you back here, in the nicest way. I hope you've been looking after yourself. Flowers

dizzym is it your massage today? Let us know how it goes!

BorisIsBack · 28/05/2016 12:31

Kellz - sorry for the bfn, but it could still be too early. Your chart is looking good. Hope the weather forecast looks as good?

DizzyN hope your appointment doesn't take too long to come through.

Writer - sorry to see you back Flowers, hope you are ok.

Waves to genghis, dizzym, magpie.

If anyone is lurking do let us know - we would love to know who you are :)

Hi DizzyN still no sign of AF felt really wet down there but it's just cm. TMI sorry. Did a Frer as you can see. Looks a faint line on it but can't see it on the pic so me and hubby probably imagining it so will try again later.

Grr for getting woken up early you will be shattered

Thanks Boris. We were adamant we can see a line but can't see on pic so will be imagining it. Will try again later. Happy with the chart and still no sign so I'm not out yet. Only 11 dpo so still early. And even before when I ovulated late I always started af on CD28 so fingers crossed. The weather is warm here :) love it.

Hope you both have a lovely weekend.

BorisIsBack · 28/05/2016 14:55

Kelz im not sure if i can see another line, i think i can !!, sorry thats not much to go on, hopefully you get a stronger line in a few days!!

Af got me yesterday while being baby bombed in work, I'm really happy for the girl that told me but felt like a blow to the stomach as she as telling me while i had severe af cramps, and to top it off they hadn't been trying long!!,

BorisIsBack · 28/05/2016 20:38

Kellz that chart looks promising. I might be able to see a line. Test again soon with fmu.

Rainy sorry fur AF and the baby bomb. tough. X

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 29/05/2016 01:42

Kellz your chart is great, and I think I can see a slight line on the picture where you're holding the test. I really hope it is!!

Sorry about AF and the baby bomb Rainy, and talk about bad timing! Is it this month that you go back to your doctor about your clomid prescription?

Writer sorry to read about your miscarriage Flowers I hope you won't be back here for long (in a nice way).

DizzyN Five days off sounds lovely - enjoy! Anything exciting planned? That is annoying about your chart not to mention the lack of sleep...I hope you managed to have an afternoon nap.

DizzyM I hope all is well? And yes, tell us about the massage..

Waves to Boris and Magpie, and any lurkers. This bus is under serious threat of being downgraded to a people carrier so please come and join!

I hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend.

Kellz92 · 29/05/2016 06:20

Thanks rainy, going to try again. It looked more clear on the test but still thought I was making it up lol. Sorry AF got you honey.

Boris I'm going go try again Fx, not getting my hopes up.

Thanks Genghis, I hope so too. How are you? Xx
