Have I had a false positive?

My period was due today, no sign yet. Tested with a Superdrug Early detection test. No line showed up after a minute so I put it on the side, checked again a few minutes later and there was a line. I was so happy.

My husband said it was faint so I should do another test so I did another of the same kind, and no line appeared. I've since tried a Tesco one and no line.

I know I should have waited for FMU tomorrow but I just couldn't. I have one more Tesco test for the morning. I'm gutted though now, as I think I've just had a false positive :(

I'd guess you'll have a line in the morning and there just wasn't enough hcg in your subsequent wee to get a line on those other tests

Try not to worry! The Tesco one is probably not as sensitive as the Superdrug one. Its really early days and as your levels are building this is quite normal.

Not sure but I can see the start of something. It could just be too early to tell. I'd suggest waiting a few days at least. Hope so for you Flowers

I think that's a positive and you just had weaker hormones in your evening pee.

ricepudding84 · 21/02/2016 19:42

Superdrug ones are more sensitive, try again in the morning!

Tesco blue dye tests are rubbish.
You need pink dye, first response early result are the best Smile
