quick question, and some background ...

ive been off the pill for about 2 months now (horrendous migranes), using condoms, but not always 100% safe with them, and i think one drunken night of no protection

period was due Dec 23rd, no sign of it, though lots of cramps

ive also had a few spots on my face which i NEVER get, only when pregnant,

i did a cheapie test yesterday and it was negative,

is that test reliable?

im desperate for AF to start as ive got a new pack of pills now (that hopefully wont give me headaches) so can start them when it arrives!

thanks

PS - i keep getting pains like periods about to come, but it doesnt (having these for about 10 days)

If it was me i'd want to do another test before starting new pills.

Mind you if you've not had any pills for 2 months your body might be trying to get back to normal still.

Did the GP not make any suggestions?

I am no expert but i would imagine the test is reliable enough. give it a few more days and if your still without AF try another test.

I would take another test and pop to see your doctor, as you can get negative tests and still be pregnant. Best to be safe than sorry.
