Underactive thyroid - no periods?!?!

I was diagnosed with an under active thyroid 3 months after my lo was born in May. I have been taking 100mg of thyroxine every morning. My periods continued normally for about 3 months but since November I have not had a period.

Can i still conceive if I am not having any periods?

Hi,
I'm not sure whether you'll be able to conceive or not but I have an under active thyroid and whenever my periods have stopped, I've needed my medication dose changing so I would recommend seeing someone as soon as possible to check your bloods
Hope that helps

When did you last have your thyroid levels checked? I think they need doing fairly regularly, and your body is probably still adjusting after birth, so it's possible you do need a higher dose now.

I had them checked in November and about 2 weeks ago and they told me my results are fine

Have you had your prolactin levels checked?

Also, what you're told is 'fine' may not be fine for ttc. Find out what your numbers are.
