Thanks ladies, I really thought something was going on in there! Oh well, onwards we go. The tww is the longest 2 weeks ever isn't it mimi, you'll soon have the poas urges! Drmum may I ask how long it took you ttc your dd?

No worries - I had a mmc in Jan 2014 but luckily conceived my DD the next month after miscarrying.

I'm ok, I've got flu at the moment and had a fever today so been feeling really down and worried about the effect a fever will have on the baby. I'm such a worrier! I've booked a scan for when I'll be 7+4 but I really wanna bring it forward to 6+4. My DH isn't keen as if there's not a heartbeat we'll end up having to have a scan a week later and this is exactly what happened when we had the miscarriage. The wait was hell! He thinks the later the better as we'll get solid answers. I just want to punch his face in.
We had a scan at 6+4 with my DD and saw a heartbeat.
What dya reckon??

Anyhow, sorry to whinge and moan to you guys. I know youve got your own stresses.

dumum hope u are feeling better today. I hate the flu, I have to be in bed at least 2days. Hope the fever is over too.

You might as well have the later scan. Only a week later .l know just how u feel. U just need to hear that heartbeat and make it feel real.

I am tired of being hopeful so I'm trying very hard to not overthink it (easier said than done). Got my fx though haha

Still feeling shit with cough and fever. I don't know what's a pregnancy symptom and what's flu. I'm on annual leave this week which is just frigging typical!! Luckily DH off too so he's been able to look after DD. I dont know how I would have coped otherwise, literally can't get out of bed

Thanks drmum. She practically can't do anything now. She has to be fed and taken to the loo. She just had an mri done today cause doc is suspecting nervous system breakdown .

The results came back clear and she was discharged from the hospital. Seems like she was exaggerating her symptoms. How cruel..... Anyways hope she completely recovers soon.

Morning ladies, checking in after a few days off as been away for DP's birthday. Gosh you poor loves, Drmum I hope you are feeling a better by now and morning sickness still hasn't struck. Mimi good news about your sils results being all clear - is she ok now? Your poor DH though, all stress you could do without. for you both. What happened with AF mimi? I'm at the start of my fertile window again now so dtd plenty! Also got some opk's which i've only used one so far and got a faint second line but it says it's negative unless its a strong line. So going to try and do them twice a day.

I am gradually feeling a bit better, still coughing but no fever now for 24 hours so hoping that's the end of it. Having slight waves of nausea and quite light headed the last few days and knackered. I'm naughty but I booked the scan for this Saturday.. eeek. If all ok, will start getting excited after that!

I'm about 10dpo and am not poas no earlier than 14dpo. I haven't had any symptoms whatsoever but today just feel like af is brewing itself up

Oh no I'm sorry AF got you Mimi. I hope you got suitably pissed! New month, start again. It is down to me you on here now I think! I am now on CD 18 and (I think either ) 4 or 5 DPO. Not got me head round the OPK's really yet but had what i thought was a positive on Good Friday, although it may have been negative, I aren't sure if the line was quite dark enough! Anyway, in the 2ww now. Boooo!

I surely boozed my sorrows away with some vodka and lemonade on Sunday

Oh yes vodka and lemonade (with a dash of lime!) is my favourite boozy drink. Good choice mimi. DP is very stressy and down at the minute about work so trying to keep him jolly and I know a BFP would make his year. Fingers crossed! Do you drink in between AF's mid cycle? I did get a bit drunk on Sunday night (on above said beverage!) and wonder now whether it's ok to be having a few drinks every now and again especially in the tww (after possible conception) or should I stop? It's not like I get totally hammered, just a bit merry! That's surely ok whilst TTC isn't it? In view of how long it may take to actually get a BFP, carry on sensibly? What does everyone else think? Obviously wouldn't drink and get merry once I get a BFP.

Morning minty after ttc for 10cycles, a bit of drink kinda makes me sane. I don't drink everyday but will only stop when l get my bfp.

Hope you give your dh that bfp soon.

So sorry have been awol. Had scan a week ago which showed pregnancy behind my dates and I have spent the last week in hell, worried myself sick about another mmc and generally been depressed.
Thankfully the follow up scan showed things have caught up this week and I'm 7 weeks, saw a little blob with a heartbeat.
Mimi - I should have listened to you! You said to have first scan today but I went earlier and ended up in limbo for a week!!

Anyhow, hope you ladies are well.

Sorry I haven't been on over the weekend, it's been a busy one!

Drmum congrats on your little beating blob!! Hope you are feeling much better now you've had your scan.

I'm cd23 and about (i think) 9dpo but trying to hold off poas as long as possible, but had stinging stabby boob pains friday and saturday which kind of took my breath away as they really hurt! Had a very very slight pink colour on wiping after a wee this morning too, but this happened last month so I don't want to get my hopes up. I have some FRER's coming from Amazon tmw. AF due 9th or 10th. Ovia telling me to poas thursday, so i'll try wait til then. Aaaaaah hate the waiting!!

Mimi have you started your dtd marathon??

Ooh and I was going to ask if either of you had any experience of massively greasy hair as a symptom? Mine has turned awful suddenly, wash it in a morning and by afternoon it needs washing again. It's truly awful
