kat - I love your opk book idea! Ha! I may copy... I have kept the opks from the cycle we conceived DD - they're neatly taped and labeled to some card. Would it be wrong to put them in her baby book... 'Here's the hormone shift when your egg was released'

How's everyone getting on?

I'm having the worst period ever, it's so so heavy and going on forever. sigh.

Also had a little wobble about the idea of TTC at the weekend, I've only just started a new job and could really do with mat pay (even though it will only be statutory minimum). I also informally committed to a min of 1 year in the role so staying past that would hopefully buy me some good will to be able to go back doing the hours of my choice. Plus, this time I went back to work after 9 months and am massively regretting not taking the full year off, so I want to be able to take the full year next time and have a few weeks with my son before a new baby arrives. And I still haven't lost the baby weight, was massive by the end of my last pregnancy and couldn't walk so a couple of extra months would be helpful to lose a few pounds.

So... I'm going to stay off the pill but not try with gusto for a couple of months haha.

Because we all know that TTC happens to schedule, right?

I'm CD13 today - feels like the last week has really dragged. Had a nearly positive opk this morning but I usually ovulate around cd19/20 so not sure what that's about.
Does anyone have varied ovulation timings?

drmum hope u finally got a darker opk. My cycles since ttc have been all over and so yes, ovulating earlier than normal sometimes.
Haven't done much dtd and on cd11 so hoping its not too late.will be forcing dh the next couple of days.
Really don't want a 2017 baby so fx we all get our bfps soon!!

Starting to give up on opks as they're just so variable depending on time of day, duration bladder held and amount drank. Getting near positives and then negatives on and off last few days. I think I'm gonna just have as must sex as poss... Is daily too much dya reckon? I really can't be arsed

My word!!it seems like this cycle is definitely not mine.had dressed up all sexy awaiting to dtd but SIL decides to have a mild stroke and was rushed and admitted in hospital.(hope am not sounding cruel).I'm certain I ov last night coz I had all the cramps but could not get shagging(dh too stressed). Oh well

drmum dtd as often as possible is the best way I'd say.I don't use opks so that usually is my only way.we dt d EOD soon after AF has left then everyday from cd10-15 then EOD.but this month has just been hectic.

I think I'm ovulating, been digging around the old cervix (tmi) and high and soft so gonna dtd again tonight... Yawn. Feel as sexy as a rotting trout. I've just bought a Clearblue Fertility monitor so hoping it won't need to be used next month...fx'd...

Evening everyone. I can't start ttc yet I'm currently on the countdown to my appointment to get the coil out. It coincides with my fertile days though so i could also count this massive month wait as a countdown to ttc.

Although I'm selfishly wanting to start as soon as we can, in the back of my mind is if we manage to win in april or may 9m time would be christmas and ds birthday which would mean a crap financial start to every year forever. Do we hold off or just go for it... THAT is the question!

So, I just got strongly positive opk so I'm on 0dpo... We have dtd so much in the last 10 days (8 times) - good job it only takes 5 minutes

So I'm CD17 so bit of a late ovulator, but my cycle lengths are around 29 +/- 1 day so with regards to my luteal length, I should be ok dya reckon? I got pregnant with my DD with the same numbers 2 years ago but am bit of a worrier... Fx'd.

I'm still getting reaaally strong pos OPKs- that's 2 days now... Does that happen to anyone else? Is it normal?! I though the peak lasted a day max?!

I've never understood opk test etc luckily I never had to do them last time. I thought that if it's a pos then the egg will be released within 24 hrs and can be fertilised within 48 is that right?

A whole month til the coil comes out (grrr at the rediculous wait I've had for this appointment) so I've started preparing the only ways I can. I've made sure I figured out what my period patterns are, started on the decaf, got the preggo vits in. Not bothering reducing my drink yet though 😂

blink - opk lighter today so I've probably ovulated in the last day, the countdown begins! How annoying that you've had to wait so frigging long for coil removal! I'd do it for you if I could!

I've felt really sick today and knackered and got loads of CM... (Tmi) symptom spotting like a loon!

Hie drmum hope u had a fabulous Saturday. I thought i was the only one knackered. To top it off iv had a running tummy and feel sick too.could it be implantation?? only God knows haha.have been googling countdown to pregnancy and it says best possible day for implantation is 9dpo so I pretty much can't poas Monday. Hope I can have the willpower to wait till Friday.

I thought implantation was earlier than 9dpo? I got a bfp 10dpo in my first pregnancy... I'd test anyway!!!

U r right, implantation is between 6dpo to 12dpo but most common at 9dpo.but will poas tmrw all the same. I just can't resist.
