Wondering if anyone wants a buddy?
I'm ttc #2 (DD 13m)
Just finishing AF and embarking on cycle 2

Come shove 2 fingers to the back of the witch and let's count down to O and POAS psychotically in a few weeks...

I'm going all out this month with SMEP, pressed, EPO, OPKs....

Hahaha I honestly thought I would be better! I'm feeling really sick tonight. It's definitely nothing to do with having been awake since 4.30am and having had a bit McDonalds for my tea.....!!! I so hope this week goes fast! Did you pee on another OPK?!

ohnonotanother1 · 15/05/2016 20:33

Haha I felt sick earlier but def all in my head. Managed to scoff a plate of fajitas and some sweets just fine Blush

Yup peed on another one and it's nearly as dark, but not quite. Not sure if that means I'm imagining the whole debacle or whether it's because I've weed and drink lots!? Wonder if opks work the same as hpt and are weaker with more diluted wee? Stil defo stronger than my usual negatives...

SunnyDays1987 · 16/05/2016 06:40

Haha I love fajitas!! Oh I really don't know then, sounds like something is different though!! At least we can now say we might know this week, much better than having to say next week I think!! DS slept well last night so I feel human again today. Woohoo! Back to symptom spotting it is then!!!

ohnonotanother1 · 16/05/2016 08:12

Morning everyone - how's everyone doing? Drmum/minty/mimi you've been v quiet!

Just ordered some frers from eBay due to arrive on 19th. I've gone from being fairly positive to being petty sure I'm out this month. My opk is a bit lighter this morning so def no pattern there of getting darker, and I have zero symptoms. I do have a bit of a dodgy tummy which is making me feel Eurgh though.

Feeling pretty disappointed about it this month tbh. I know I'be only been trying a few months but I feel like life's in limbo a bit. I'm happy not working but if I knew it was going to take forever I'd start looking for a job etc. Damn you ttc! Haha Wink

SunnyDays1987 · 16/05/2016 08:20

To be fair ohno, the OPK is meant to pick up HCG which doesn't start in your body until after implantation which is usually 7dpo earliest so it wouldn't really be telling you anything until after that. I know what you mean though, I felt quite positive but now I'm feeling like I'm out too for no good reason other than the TWW messes with your mind! I also said to DH if it takes 6 months or so might we give up because that would really affect my plans of when to go back to work. TTC would be so much easier if you just knew when it was going to happen wouldn't it!

How much were your FRERs?

Hope everyone else is ok!

iwillbemrsminty · 16/05/2016 10:16

Gosh I have been away for weekend and seem to have missed loads!

Getting excited for you both sunny and ohno. Let the obsessive poas commence! I have some FRER's sitting in our bathroom cabinet, from Amazon, just over £7 for 2 which is so much cheaper than getting them from the high street shops. Which of you is due to poas first?

Well i am rather Confused at this but my AF lasted all of 24 hours?! It is normally 4 days and heavy at first then tapers off to normal then quickly turns light. But never less than 4 days. Don't know what to make of this but as it happened I was rather Smile about it as we were going away. bryan adams concert was fantastic!

waves mimi and drmum.

SunnyDays1987 · 16/05/2016 11:49

That's probably my fault minty, DS has been a nightmare this weekend so we stayed in a lot feeling like zombies so I was on here loads! Nice to hear from you though 😄

I saw 2 FRERs at Asda for £6 a couple of months ago so I bought a pack in preparation because they were so cheap!! I'm due AF between Saturday and Monday so I'd probably test from Tuesday onwards if no sign, unless I have something happen that makes me really think I might be pregnant, in which case I'll test Monday maybe!! I think ohno said about testing Friday before a drinking event?!

Glad you enjoyed your concert! That's strange about AF. Have you tested again or do you think it's the CP messing your cycle up?

iwillbemrsminty · 16/05/2016 15:31

It's nice to come on and see there's loads to catch up on Sunny. Are you and DH still in zombie mode or have you managed to catch up a bit? I think I am the only one without any DC so I never really have anything interesting to say compared to you lot!

That's a really good deal at Asda! I haven't looked for them in our Asda but Tesco is the nearest big store to us and they definitely don't stock them. I should have them on that auto order setting at Amazon!! Blush

Rooting for a bfp for you, will be keeping everything crossed for you and ohno. We agreed a while ago that we all promise to stay on here until we're holding our newborn in one arm and typing with the other! I hope you will join in with that Grin

It's definitely strange about my AF but no I haven't tested again, I did think about it over the weekend but decided against it I "accidentally" packed my box of FRER's and took them with us! as I really don't want to see another BFN.

I have to say I am really enjoying this thread, and it is really helpful for me to have you ladies and your previous experiences here with me having never been pregnant or ttc before. And I don't have any friends nearby to go to so I really do draw a lot of support from here. Flowers

SunnyDays1987 · 16/05/2016 17:23

DS slept for just under 12 hours last night so we are definitely feeling more human today! How do you think you'll cope with sleep deprivation?!

Ah ASDA is my nearest store so if they are on offer there again I'll let you know! They didn't have them at my nearest tesco either. I always said I'd do a digi once I knew I was pregnant but I didn't bother last time. Maybe this time I will!! I just like to see lines though for some reason! Will you just do FRERs?

Thank you, I wish it would hurry up now! Yep I'm definitely in it for the long haul now. I joined a conception thread in January 2014 and we are all still in a Facebook group now. It was so helpful during pregnancy and with having a baby. Everyone was pregnant before me so I had loads of support and advice when I had questions!

How long ago was the one day bleed then? So confusing. Did you have any implantation bleeding last time?

DrMum83 · 16/05/2016 20:12

Evening ladies!

Still having the faintest of faintest bfps which is pissing me off, but I have read loads of threads where some women swear they ovulated post miscarriage with a faintly positive test still. Yesterday I had loads of ewcm so we dtd. OPK also strongly positive but that could be because of the bhcg in my system. I dunno, I need to exercise more patience!

ohno and sunny - you need to be positive!! C'mon, statistically one of us is surely due a bfp this month?! I cannot wait!! . Glad your sleep has recovered sunny - my dd is cutting her molars and omfg has she been hard work. She has completely gone off food and juice so spent most of today syringeing juice into her..!
minty how strange re your short period....?! Are you not tempted to test just in case? I know what you mean though, it's tough seeing the result you don't want, over and over.
I agree, I hope this time next year were all in the newborn phase and are sitting moaning about sore nipples and sleepless nights!
I've got hundreds of used hpts lined up on the window sill of the bathroom, same with opks! I've even kept the opks from when I ovulated and caught with my DD. Lol, seriously mental!

Waves to mimi hope you're ok sweet!

ohnonotanother1 · 16/05/2016 22:23

Hi minty and drmum! Where's mimi these days? Hope she's ok!

Minty I don't know how you've resisted testing, as much as I don't like seeing bfns I do love a good pee on a stick. It just feels so full of promise! Assuming it really is af then you'll be at shagathon o clock in no time. Good times!

Drmum so many people get preg so quickly after mc that I can't see they all got bfn that quickly, so perfectly plausible they might ovulate while getting Bfps. I have fingers crossed! Are you going to be opk-ing?

I think statistically we are def due a bfp in May but think it's just me and sunny left to test this month? I'm not feeling in the least bit confident. No symptoms at all, though still weird opks. My fave dr Google revealed mixed opinions as to whether using them as hpt is more effective in the morning or afternoon so I did both. Am was a clear line, stronger than my usual negatives. PM was a fairly dark line like yesterday. I'm not really doing it to draw any conclusions just out of interest (and to distract me from testing early!) so I will wait and see what this all reveals...

I'm a bit grumpy and emotional today but my son has had a delayed reaction from last weeks mmr and now has a fever and has been swapping between lethargic and hysterical all afternoon so think I'm just worn out. It's not a strong enough state of emotion to be a symptom! Does mean I missed seeing bee though which has pissed me off no end! Angry

SunnyDays1987 · 17/05/2016 07:03

Morning! I would imagine if you had EWCM and a positive OPK then you should be ovulating DrMum? Fingers crossed for you anyway. How long ago was the miscarriage? How many teeth does your DD have now? My DS only has 4 still! He's not been too bad with those so far but I've heard the molars can be a right bastard! Laughed about all the lined up tests! I kept my BFP from last time. It's in a little bag with other keepsakes!

Well, I joined a conception thread and within 4/5 months all 10 of us were pregnant, so yeah I'd think statistically someone should be getting pregnant soon. I doubt it'll be me either. When I'm realistic I just can't see it happening first month really! I had a bit of a wobble to DH last night that I was sick of the suspense but also that I'm really not sure I want to be pregnant again. I really hated it so much last time and I didn't feel human for about 6 months after having him because I'm not good with no sleep, so the thought of doing it all again and with another in tow is really scary. Does anyone else every feel like that? minty, please ignore my negativity. Some people love being pregnant, I just wasn't one of those lucky ones! But obviously DS was worth it all and clearly I'm considering doing it again, I'm just having a wobble!

Ah the mmr is grim ohno. My DS was so clingy and whingy for a few days afterwards, he had a burning temp as well. Hope he gets better soon for you. Missed seeing bee?!

I think I might have seen mimi post on a thread recently saying AF had arrived? I might have lost perspective with the dates though so I'm not sure. Hope you're alright wherever you are!

I'm cd29 now, AF will arrive cd33-35 so I feel like I'm approaching the business end of things now!!!

ohnonotanother1 · 17/05/2016 07:26

Well my son is asleep on me following a n hour of hysteria and some forced calpol!

Minty def don't be put off by us! It's bloody hard but also amazing. I'm sleep deprived, sat weird and uncomfy, covered in milk/snot/calpol but hearing his little snores is lovely

At the 2am bout of hysteria I noticed I had short sharp stabby pains in my left ovary region.., am hoping these weird opk don't mean I'm ovulating now! There's zero chance of dtd with clingy child on me!

SunnyDays1987 · 17/05/2016 07:31

Griiiiiiim! But the sleepy cuddles are lovely. That was the last time my DS had a nap on me, after his jabs! Hope he's better today!

I've been having sharp twinges really low down too. I keep telling myself it's not implantation but I don't know?! If you got a positive and EWCM at the right time surely you can't be OV again? I know it's grim but maybe check your cervix?!

ohnonotanother1 · 17/05/2016 11:22

He's asleep on me again!

How do you check your cervix!? Do you literally just shove a finger up there? I don't really get Ewcm ever so can't even say when that happened. Sigh.

SunnyDays1987 · 17/05/2016 12:23

Hahaha laughed my head off at "literally just shove a finger" but yeah pretty much. When you're fertile it's really soft and open and then it closes up quite quickly afterwards and goes harder! It's a bit grim but I really wanted to steer away from temping etc this time so I go off cervix and EWCM. But yeah maybe that's trickier if you don't have any. I don't know, I'm sure there are flaws in every method!!

ohnonotanother1 · 17/05/2016 12:44

Hmm I'm not sure I'm up for that right now but maybe next month!!

I have another minor spanner in the works - the childminder just picked up my son and thinks the other girl who she looks after had chickenpox. A third child had it a couple of weeks ago and this girl only got spots this morning since she went to the childminder. I'm fairly sure my son is having the after effects of jabs as he reacts the same every time. Is chickenpox and ttc a bad mix!? I remember my friend developed it when I was preg last time but I think the dr said because I was over however many weeks it's not an issue but on the off chance that this month is my month, or he catches it and gets the spots in two weeks ie into my next cycle, do you reckon it's a problem?!

SunnyDays1987 · 17/05/2016 12:56

I think chicken pox is a problem for pregnant women but is that only if you've not already had it? Maybe DrMum would know more than me on this?!

SunnyDays1987 · 17/05/2016 13:19

Oh and fair enough re the cervix checking. Not for everyone! Hope you don't think I'm a pervert now haha!

ohnonotanother1 · 17/05/2016 13:51

Ok minty this ones for you seeing as I contributed nothing to "can I see a line" porn last month. Not sure why I poas, the kid has gone to cm and I had free time and no money lol.

There's a very definite line there within ten mins but I don't think it's in the right place is it, too close to control line? And it's so faint it's hard to see if it's got colour which makes me think it's grey. Intriguing....

And no sunny I don't think you're a pervert but I do admire your efforts, the reason I said no was I simply can't be arsed haha

Mimilicious013 · 17/05/2016 13:53

I'm so sorry for going missing and thanks for thinking of me Flowers.i am feeling rather low and pretty much don't want to do anything. H not dh Wink is irritating the living s* out of me. I can't even think of having another dc with that idiot at the moment aarrgh ((sorry for ranting))

I have definitely missed out on a lot. Rooting for you sunny and Ohno. Hope you give us good news soon fx

Minty hope that bfn will suddenly turn to a bfp Grin.enjoy the few months you have of peace hun before you have a little person in your arms.

Waves back drmum. Good on you dtd. At least you know you have turned all stones. Hope the opks were predicting ov. With ttc, anything is possible. How is ds feeling now. Hope eating is a little better.

ohnonotanother1 · 17/05/2016 14:02

Haha mimi I've had a few days of my husband being an annoying twat too! Must be something in the air... You have my sympathy!

Mimilicious013 · 17/05/2016 14:09

Thanks hun, ttc and marriage can bring the worst out of a person.. Aaah

Mimilicious013 · 17/05/2016 14:10
