Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
  5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a <strong>Kitten</strong> = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like <strong>'something'</strong> = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a <strong>hooya</strong> = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into TTC obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing a <strong>Lemon</strong> = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

Canters - I agree with kwick anything with salycilic acid in it seems to help me. I use a face mask thing made by l'oreal and an avon correcting lotion that works to moisturize as well as control spots. That said, my skin still isn't brilliant but it is better than with anything else I've tried (apart from some topical stuff I had once, but that's no good for ttc).

well done kwick on the injecting, you are very brave.

ill I have to say that is exciting, and no hooyahs if you test tomorrow with a frer when AF is officially late.

London you have more willpower than me! GX for you.

NFMV: (TMI ALERT) I have started bleeding heavily today, and it is painful again so I figure it must be AF - I have no idea why I keep spotting from around implantation time then this happens. I will poas tomorrow in the vain hope that its another chemical and I can get that referral.

BUT - I have just passed something that as like a little lump of tissue rather than the normal blood and clots. WTAF is going on?!

justtheonethen · 22/02/2016 16:33

ill definite line!!!! Congratulations! Star

Sorry cats, no advice but Thanks

LondonGirl83 · 22/02/2016 16:44

Ill that's definitely a line and not even a squinter! Congratulations!!

cats that sounds horrible. Call your GP

SockQueen · 22/02/2016 16:57

Ill that is definitely a line, and a pretty good one if AF is only due today! Gx for FRER tomorrow...

Illiria · 22/02/2016 17:05

Cats so sorry. Thanks and Chocolate

Thanks everyone, yes this is my lets give it a shot even though it hasn't worked on our own before month. DH is out at work dinner tonight so not sure if can get a frer tonight.

Bloody terrified though

Ditsy79 · 22/02/2016 17:07

Ill - I can definitely see a line Smile
Still no AF here, not done FRER test today (had bfn yesterday)but may do one tomorrow.

Canters15 · 22/02/2016 17:13

Ill- this is so exciting! Definitely a line there. Out of interest did you do anything differently this month? Cant wait to see the frer.

London this also sounds v likely for a bfp. Gx!

I went and bought the loreal stuff and also a night moisturiser with salicylic acid in. Desperation!!

Illiria · 22/02/2016 17:19

Canters The only thing I did this month and the other time I got bfp was take 1000mg of vitamin c everyday. In fact I mc two weeks after stopping it last bfp so going to keep going with it this time even if is just to make me feel better. It's a water soluble vitamin so any your body doesn't use will get flushed out.

ScottishLady7 · 22/02/2016 17:44

Ooh looks like a definitely like to me ill Gx for testing again tomorrow StarStar

pops off to buy multiple packets of vitamin c and several bags of oranges

stumblymonkey · 22/02/2016 17:46

Ill....yay!!!! Definitely a line as you don't get silly indent/evaps with the Internet cheapies!

And gx still for London.

Let's hope this Fred is on a BFP roll!!!

ScottishLady7 · 22/02/2016 17:54

*like a line! Sent too early...

stumblymonkey · 22/02/2016 18:04

Ain....I'm your Tuesday weigh in buddy. Hoping to see a loss tomorrow evening that makes it all worth it!

Kwick709 · 22/02/2016 18:09

Cats I am very sorry - I think you should test and contact doctor Flowers

FuzzyOwl · 22/02/2016 18:21

Oh Cats Flowers

Gx tomorrow London

That is not even a squinter Ill! ICs are notorious for faint lines and one that photographs and doesn't need to be enlarged to be seen is as big and fat as a BFP can be! Congratulations and I hope the next eight months goes really smoothly for you.

ChatEnOeuf · 22/02/2016 18:55

Beautiful line, Ill! Tentative congrats :)

Cats that sounds horrid Flowers. Any chance this is an early MC - the spotting could have been the beginnings and this is the main event? Either way, have a hug and some wine and I hope your DH is looking after you.

I bought DH some mega strength Vit C. He looked at the RDAs and almost dropped them. Might share them with him.

Canters15 · 22/02/2016 19:09

Cats, what on earth is going on with your foof? It sounds horrible. I'd definitely speak to your gp.

I am hitting the vitamin c....!

FuzzyOwl · 22/02/2016 19:48

NFMV: I am 9dpo and have some spotting. This is either good or bad, so I know just as much as I did before!

Catscatsandmorecats · 22/02/2016 19:49

ill I am very excited to see what news you have tomorrow, it is a good line :D

Lord knows what my foof is up to. Think it might be another early mc, I've got a call booked with the Dr tomorrow morning. Thank you Viriods yet again for your support in my continuing foof saga.

I'm going to concentrate on getting a referral and taking extra vit C!

NameChange30 · 22/02/2016 20:45

Cats Sorry to hear about the mysterious bleeding, hope your GP is helpful tomorrow and they can get to the bottom of it soon.
