Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
  5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a <strong>Kitten</strong> = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like <strong>'something'</strong> = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a <strong>hooya</strong> = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into TTC obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing a <strong>Lemon</strong> = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

Oh Ill that sounds awful, your poor DH and his poor DSB.

feathered that made me giggle!!

angelazul · 18/02/2016 10:46

Kwick glad to hear the witch made a timely appearance, gx for IVF!! Canters sorry she got you though Flowers

Lol Stumbly I'm also unfortunately farty atm

Ill your poor hubby, sounds like the new wife likes to have her cake & eat it too.

Just if I pm you my email address, can you add me to fb group please?

Vidroids, what's the deal with evening primrose oil & cm??

LondonGirl83 · 18/02/2016 11:37

Kwick yay for AF

ill that's awful.

stumbly had no idea gas was an early pregnancy sign. I've had wicked gas the last few days. Its been crazy. Good I hope its that on not some other problem!

I'm 10 days post ovulation now... This cycle is flying by due to being on holiday for most of it.

NameChange30 · 18/02/2016 13:31

Feathered LOL! Grin Thanks for that!
I'll see how I hold out next month...

MyBlackCat · 18/02/2016 13:51

angel EPO helps you to produce more cm, which helps with the swimmers. I used it one cycle and it delayed ovulation, I ended up with a 44 day cycle which created all manner or the crazies. I'd use with extreme caution x

angelazul · 18/02/2016 13:57

Thanks Black, eeekk 44 days, no wonder the crazies struck, think I'll give it a miss!

justtheonethen · 18/02/2016 16:31

Hey all. Not read back yet but I've had a smear test today and I felt really unwell afterwards for about an hour. Felt really sick and nearly fainted in Tesco! Actual smear was fine, didn't feel a thing so not like I'm traumatised. Coincidence or psychological?

justtheonethen · 18/02/2016 16:32

And epo also gave me super long cycle! If you want more cm then drink more water/ eat grapefruit

FuzzyOwl · 18/02/2016 18:14

Grin feathered.

Hope you feel ok now just.

angela evening primrose oil has never made my cycle longer. In fact, I have taken it during my shortest cycles. You only take it until ovulation and it does give me more cm.

angelazul · 18/02/2016 18:48

Thanks vidroids. I'm due to start taking antihistamines again next month & I know they decrease cm, so just trying to research some options.

Just poor you, take care of yourself.

justtheonethen · 18/02/2016 19:44

I take antihistamines every day and it doesn't have an effect on cm for me

Catscatsandmorecats · 18/02/2016 20:39

Yay for Kwick's AF but boo for Canters'.

There's been a lot on here the last few days! Hugs and Flowers to all those who need it.

Nfmv: not a lot really but I'm happy haven't started spotting at 7dpo. 6 days til AF is due, I can't imagine we'll get a bfp in this wtf cycle but can't help but hope.

I got a letter from my Dr saying although she had referred me to the recurrent miscarriage clinic, they couldn't see me as my three miscarriages were not sequential. I thought this was the case on the NHS but was secretly hoping that my Dr had some amazing secret way of getting me in. BUT, all you viroids having repeated chemicals, they did count mine as miscarriages for the referral so it is worth letting your Dr know.

They also sent some quite interesting information on possible causes, suggested investigations and treatments. Not that I'll be investigated now but it was interesting. If anyone would like to see it I can try to photograph it.

Kwick709 · 18/02/2016 20:57

Evening lovely viroids... what a day... only just sitting down for some r&r!

Thank all ever so much for the gx and warm wishes :)

coribeth the debriment thing sounds ace... I am not a medic but I may sometimes go on to youtube and watch videos of blackhead and cyst popping and the scalpel thing sounds very satisfying

Illiria sounds very complicated and frustrating... sometimes life just is not fair!

ok... on to read page 30..

FuzzyOwl · 18/02/2016 20:57

Sorry the clinic won't be seeing you Cats although I presume that if you are unfortunate enough to miscarry again that they will. I would be interested in the information if you can photograph it, please.

I am 5dpo and no symptoms although a bit of cm for the last few days. Have started doing lots of great walks, which has really made me feel better about things, although it is a shame they seem to involve such steep hills!

Kwick709 · 18/02/2016 21:02

just are you okay now? that is a strange reaction to a smear... although they are not the nicest things.

Cats how disappointing that they are not going to see you. Any chance you could go private and have it investigated? Peace of mind is worth everything.

Kwick709 · 18/02/2016 21:04

Did any of you see this in the Metro today? How is this even possible????

You are not a robot and the ovary whisperer's chanting for you in the viroid commune with our carved cock relics- don't panic about the acid foof! It's JS 58!!!
coribeth · 18/02/2016 22:41

kwick my auto correct is determined to call you knick Confused and yes debridment very satisfying! we are all secretly monkeys at heart Grin a girl I went to school with had her baby on loo in her defence she was thirteen at the time and pretty sure she knew bit of a shock for her mum though! Hmm
That's rough just I can over think things and go a bit funny sometimes brains are funny things! Remember fainting once when my grandad went to take a splinter out of my finger! Blush

Catscatsandmorecats · 18/02/2016 22:43

Oh ffs! Don't think I'll need to worry about going private, I've started spotting again, exactly the same as with the last two. Bum.

Fuzzy I'll do it tomorrow in the light and post the pictures.

Kwick I worked with emergency call takers and paramedics for a few years and apparently it is surprisingly uncommon. I don't understand how either!

Ain626 · 18/02/2016 22:56

Viroids, I need to read up on today's chat, but quick question...

When DH has his SA.. we know he shouldn't have sex for 3 days before. But is there a top limit to this? We're going to take his sample on Wednesday morning. We dtd yesterday (Wednesday). Is a week too long? I'm away atm. Though I am going to get back home tomorrow night.. so dtd tomorrow is okay right? And should we make sure we do? (Even though I'm going to be shattered from travelling).

MyBlackCat · 18/02/2016 23:37

ain no clue but if your knackered could he not 'service' himself? Shock

Illiria · 19/02/2016 04:43

Thx everyone, situation sucks but we can only get on with it and Dhb is so sweet.

Ain it should be no more than 5 days and no less than 3 days according to my doctors.

Cats so sorry, your dr sounds proactive though?

Catscatsandmorecats · 19/02/2016 06:12

Ooops Kwick - meant to say surprisingly common!

Thanks ill I do hope some light comes soon your dhb's situation, it does sound really tough.

justtheonethen · 19/02/2016 09:14

Wish I could just pop one out on the loo!

cats try not to worry, have you had progesterone levels checked though? it could be that if you're spotting. Ask your gp to do that if not. Thanks

I would be interested to see the info too please.

ill what a nightmare, sounds like your dh is handling it well though.

ain definitely no more than 5 days. Just get him to knock one out 4 days before I think Wink. Put the sample in your shirt pocket, they will ask how long ago it was done, that's about it really. He doesn't even need to be there to drop it off if that makes it easier.

justtheonethen · 19/02/2016 09:16

Think that's it cori, was quite funny really, had the most elderly nurse I've ever seen, she could barely get out of the chair so I was worrying about her bending over! Turns out experience trumps youth as she was amazing, didn't feel a thing!

stumblymonkey · 19/02/2016 10:20

Hello viroids...just catching up as went to see Sarah Millican last night (v. funny!).

Ain: I will leave your question to much more experienced viroids than me but I suspect there's no upper limit

AF due in two days and nothing going on for me. Bit unusual as I normally spot for a few days before AF and nothing yet however BFN yesterday and no preggers symptoms so am expecting to start spotting any minute now.

Having a bipolar blip at the mo so feeling a bit deflated/emotional but hopefully it will pass!
