For everyone who is entering the madness that is Ttc after stopping the pill. Maybe to start the thread we could all post our stats, so we remember where everyone is at and don't have to check the old thread. X

Hi everyone
Stopped pill 22nd October 15 after 12 years on various different ones
Cycles seem to have returned to 28 days straight away.
Very light though so needing to check I'm actually ovulating.
Seem to be heading towards TTC late May time FX!!! OH slowly coming round to the idea haha. Was on first thread as thoughthe we were OK to go but he had a wobble so hoping it's OK to be on this one.xx

These OPKs are driving me crazy I have had a faint line for days why won't it just get darker!!!! CD26 now x

My IC OPKs arrived today.. had to sneak them out to check it was them so the rest of the office didn't see! It says you have to let your urine sit for 20 minutes at room temperature... does anyone bother with this? Definitely can't use whilst at work then! On CD13 so if 28 so need to check to see if I am getting a LH surge at all from tonight really.xx

I've never left it 20mins I'm going to test again later so will leave it and see what happens x

In the "Before you begin" section it states 20 minutes (approx).xx

Sorry about the multiple posts but ive not tested with an OPK before so this is exciting!
I did two . First one on the left from 10 minutes ago, 2nd on from 5 minutes ago. This must mean I AM actually ovulating! Woop!! That's a relief. Know when we are ready in a couple of months we can do this! Excited

That's good news Poin!! Happy for you! I've taken another opk stick today and it's positive so I'm defo getting dtd tonight!! Not that strong of a test as my urine was quite clear as I've been drinking water all day Xxx

Loving all these OPK pics! I'm a bit of a weirdo and I just love looking at lines Poin that is so interesting about leaving the urine for 20 mins. I'm now currently sitting with a small pot of wee up in the bathroom whilst I make myself a cuppa lol! Great news about your positive Chapman! Looking likely that we're cycle buddies again then- you can't get rid of me! I think my peak will be tonight or tomorrow. Hoping I've not tired out DH tho as we dtd fri, sat, sun. Would be devastated if my peak was tomorrow and I miss my chance tonight and tomorrow if he claims he's too tired. Will just need to jump on him! Xx

Yeah I thought that when I read it Cookie - worth a try if you're always just missing out on positives. I didn't wait the 20 minutes if im honest - was far too impatient and dunked it straight in! Really surprised that I've managed to get such good strong lines! Can't share this excitement with the OH though so you'll just have to bear with until I get over it lol.

AF arrived this morning (just as I was about to POAS to make sure I definitely wasn't pg). So yay that I didn't waste a clear blue but boo that no bfp this cycle but yay that my last cycle was only 29 days.
Ordered opks from Amazon.
DH is on board (as long as I don't get too 'task master' with ttc - apparently this is supposed to be fun and relaxed ?!? )
Trying to think positively.

Looking for some advice! My OPK I just done is negative, almost no line at all! Here is a pic of last night's one - do you think I could have already ov'd between last night and tonight? My CB one only said high fertility this morning, not peak (so I assumed ov wouldn't be until tomorrow). I'm so confused xx

How much fluid have you drunk today cookie? The more diluted the wee, the fainter the line x

I've held my wee in for a couple of hours now and tried not to drink much. It's developed slightly more after 15 mins, doesn't seem as dark as last night's tho. Strange! Xx

They the same test or am I being silly and you've inverted the colour? If there is a small chance you've missed peak, the days you've dtd in the lead up will probably be a great help!xx

I think these OPKS are so temperamental because I've been home today and couldn't resist testing I've done three tests and had three totally different results from fine line to really dark?! I'd hardly drank all day either only 1 cuppa! I'm going to try DTD each 3/4 days and FX I'll catch it whenever I do finally OV x

The green one is last night's Poin and the pink one is today (a different batch hence a different colour!). I'm so confused and don't know whether to have a night off dtd and save myself for my peak. Yvonne I'm totally with you on the tests being temperamental. It's driving me crazy. I actually think I'm becoming crazy piss on a stick lady xx

If you DTD Fri Sat and Sun you can defo have a night off Cookie x

cookie hoping we have our peak at the same time! Tbh me and DH have only dtd sat and tonight purely because I didn't realise I was ovulating. Hope I've not missed my peak and the little egg drops tonight 😅 Like Yvonne and Poin says if you dtd the past 3 nights you can have a night off and hopefully you've caught already!
Don't even know when to do dpo this month either am all over the place!
