For everyone who is entering the madness that is Ttc after stopping the pill. Maybe to start the thread we could all post our stats, so we remember where everyone is at and don't have to check the old thread. X

I went a cruise round the canaries Chapman! It was very hot when we docked but the seas were extremely rocky! Felt a bit queasy at times but it didn't put a dampner on things, we both had a lovely time. Sad to be home and back to washings, ironing and the prospect of going back to work looming!

Aww you have the willpower of a saint! I just get too impatient every month! Do you have any ICs in the house or are you def going to hold off & use an accurate one on Sun?

Welcome, high hopes! We're a friendly bunch in here. Like Chapman said, there's only a couple of the original gang left but i suppose that means it must be a lucky thread! I hope you all don't go leaving me here on my todd though!! 12dpo for me and still on the long...long...long wait for ov! Don't think i'm going to bother with opks to be honest as i must be having multiple surges! Just going to try and dtd as much as possible, especially after CD20 onwards xx

Aw sounds amazing cookie glad you had a good time we go in 5 weeks to LA, San Fran & Vegas but I totally miss my ov dates so il either come on whilst we are there or find out I'm pregnant over there so we shall see haha!
No no ics no nothing am sick of seeing only the one pissing line so am just gonna wait and see if plus it'l save me money haha! Aw bless you must be terrible how long are your cycles now? If don't get pregnant this month am ditching the opks and just gonna forget about it all and see if it happens that way! XXXX

HighHopes - I would definitely do the opks! I know it's bit obsessive but I feel like I am actively doing something to help ttc when doing them. What I've been doing is doing one every three days until they start getting a line, then one a day until it starts getting darker and finally I do them 2/3 times a day to catch the surge. I keep them all in a little book Dh calls it my 'Lady Dipper book' haha!

Cookie that sounds lovely!! I am very jealous I'm testing on Sunday (12dpo) Not really sure if I'm hopeful or not I've been having a bit of cramping and discomfort but af isn't due until next Tuesday! I will probably still be here to keep you all company in May

Welcome high hopes. You are in the right place. I definitely recommend opks if you have irregular cycles. It can be a bit disheartening and frustrating doing 40 days worth in a row, but I also felt it was something proactive that gave me some control... And I just can't maintain dtd every other day for a whole 60 day cycle. So we settled for 2-3 x a week and then every day when opks were positive.. Worked for us.

Cookie: hello, welcome back from your holibobs! Sounds like you had a great time and just what you need... Except for rude people thinking they have a right to know what your reproductive plans are!! I think I get asked about 1x a day either do you have children, or are you trying/going to try soon, mostly from my patients (I guess it the obvious topic of conversation when you are helping them through their pregnancies/newborn phases) but it is relentless. It's what put me off telling my mum that I'm pregnant this early cps if something goes wrong then she will know we are trying Ms il get constant questions about it!!

Chapman, wow to your willpower!! You are absolutely right to wait tho if you can. It's a waste of money, extra stress and testing early won't change the outcome. I only tested at 10dpo this time as I wanted to know if I could have wine with dinner. (Although it was meh the day before and I did have wine!! Oops.). Any symptoms? I really have my fingers crossed for you.

Fingers crossed for you too bobo. The camping sounds positive I had that this cycle.

So I had the scan yesterday. It's not ectopic, phew! But by my dates I'm sure I'm 5+6 yesterday, but all they could see was a gestational sack, with yolk sack in it.. No baby yet. It measured more like 5+2-5+4. So I'm hoping that it's just a few days behind/implanted late or something (which I'm dubious about because of how early I got my bfp). They are rescanning in 8 days to see if there has been any change. Fingers crossed. I'm now worried that it's measuring behind because everything has stopped growing but there's not much I can do but wait, and I know it's very early. I'm off on holiday on Saturday and was hoping to tell my mum and sister while we were away but I'm not sure now. Xx

I think I'll pick up some opks in town tomorrow as it would be nice to know if and when I am ovulating.
I noticed the Ovia app presumed I would be on my period last week (based on a regular cycle) but as AF hasn't arrived I had to amend each day to say no period, yet it hasn't amended my 'days to fertile window' countdown & all the summaries are relating to the run up to ovulation so it can't be very accurate!

Sunny - Yay so glad it's not ectopic! fx it was just late ovulation/implant and I hope the next 8 days doesn't drag for you

High -I use the one-step opks form Amazon. I picked up about 90 for £10! I love a bargain

Sunny - Only decided not to get any because last month and the month before and the month before that i was like a mad woman poas 3/4 days before af was due and was sick of seing negatives so just gonna wait now til A F shows which no doubt she will sunday or wait til monday.. which will be the hardest thing ever as i am regular haha! No hun not really i keep feeling cramps and as if someone is pulling strings and that but apart from that no. did you have any? thankyou hun im glad your preg wasnt a ectopic but i hope you get some answers when you rescan fx for you and just hope its a bit behind in growing! :) xxx

bob - how are you hun? apart from the head cold anything? have u tested yet haha? have u given in?

Chapman - I'm ok I've had a few odd pains today but not reading too much into it...kinda... totally am really! I haven't tested yet I am being a good girl! I told dh we would test together on Sunday and I think he would be disappointed if I tested without him (like normal) so that's giving me the willpower to hold off That and I'm only 9dpo now so would most likely get a bfn!
fx your cramps are a good sign! Do you think you will resist testing until Monday? x

Haha bobo this 2ww is the worst you just make up symptoms and symptom spot but most of the symptoms are the same as period haah its so annoying! same here im holding out sick of the negative nancys!!! im 11dpo today i think but not trying as i only finish at 8 and cba to go asda. And yeah hun i will if i dont come on on sunday! xxx

Took the last pill from my pack a few days ago, and my withdrawal bleed started today.
I'm not sure if this counts and cd1 cycle one, or do I wait for my first period after this and that is cycle one?

I'm not doing opks this time, I'm trying to be relaxed.

Poas on a opk stick cause it was there.. Thinking it would detect pregnancy maybe but was just a faint second line. Now I feel annoyed and just know AF will show now. Been having cramps and AF type feeling all day. 😭

Chapman, my opk didn't go positive until about a week after I got my bfp! If not longer! They do pick up hcg but not until it is quite high levels, they aren't as sensitive as pregnancy tests. Although I have to say when they do go positive the line is much darker than hpt. Step away from the opks. You aren't out til your out.

Welcome sparkle. I would count it as cd1... Some lucky people conceive 1st cycle off pill so 1st true cycle never arrives. I say just go for it.

Welcome sparkle!!! I would also count it as cd1 😊 If your not using opks jut keep an eye on your cm, fx you get a nice regular cycle straight away!

Sunny - that is very rea assuring I don't know why I did it haha just cause it was there but I've stepped away and I'm waiting til Monday if AF holds off that long. When is your due date Hun? Mine would be Xmas or Boxing Day if I fall this month 😱

Chapman - they sound like really good signs! Pg Symptom spotting is a bitch but your lack of af symptom spotting sounds really promising!
I guess I feel a bit different in my womb area , lots of odd cramps and pains that aren't very af like. Apart from that I can't tell if symptoms are pg related or because I'm ill haha! Like I absolutely ache everywhere! I normally ache a bit towards the end of the week (I'm a postie so my legs normally die after day 5 at work!) but not this much.
I really want to test tomorrow but dh said no I have to wait until Sunday 😩 He's so mean X

Morning ladies! Just realised in my last post I said I was 12dpo (haha I wish!!). I meant CD12... And now on CD15! I know I said I wasn't going to do OPKs but I couldn't help myself yesterday. Still completely neg so on the long journey still to ov!

Bobo - I didn't feel pregnant st all apart from the massive cramps I suffered last night which had me doubled over in pain that seemed AF related now I know they weren't! Really hope your get your bfp! And not yet he's been football I don't know how to say it well surprise him think he will be in utter shock as he's quite quiet about it all tbh! XXXX

Tested half an hour ago and bfn on frer so its all over for me this month. Gutted tbh and feel like I'm letting dh down! Next ov dates are when we are on holiday with big family group so that's going to be a pain 😒
