For everyone who is entering the madness that is Ttc after stopping the pill. Maybe to start the thread we could all post our stats, so we remember where everyone is at and don't have to check the old thread. X

I know I'm a lunatic! boobs definitely less sore today but I'm going to try to relax.

There is no particular temp level... It differs person to person and also month to month. Fertility friend wil average it you pre ov cycles and once you get 3 temps that are more that 0.3 higher than that average it will tell you you have likely ovulated. The actual number isn't relevant, and neither is the line it gives you, it's just a visual marker. You will need pretty much a whole month to get an idea. Xx

I go on holiday on Monday ladies but the witch got me this morning it's still very light spotting only when I wipe at the moment, but I'm sure it'll amount to full blown shitty witchyface! I few we tried everything we could this cycle. So gutted!! Defo getting drunk every night on the cocktails next week!

Aw Chapman, the OPKs drove me mad this cycle too! Seemed to get a constant stream of light lines then a dark surge all of a sudden. Keep peeing on them at various times of the day! I felt 5-7pm was when I had the strongest surge. Hope it comes for you today!!

Sunny, fab news about the digi test! You'll be absolutely fine hun, try not to worry! The ICs are a load of crap I think! Don't worry yourself, try to relax (easier said than done tho- I know I'd be the same!) xx

Oh cookie I'm sorry. Is it definitely af? I still have my fingers crossed that's it's implantation bleeding but if it is af then have an amazing holiday and get right on those cocktails!! Xx

Thanks Sunny, it's definitely AF unfortunately! I thought we could have had 2 short luteal success stories this month but it was not to be still chuffed for you chick & it really does give me hope!! Xx

Yes, I managed to get to 11 or 12 dpo- every cloud!! Onwards and upwards! Just need to try and chill out for the next 20 days or so until ov approaches again! Xx

Girls need your help! Finally got my positive opk this morn think I got one last night but this morning it is darker than the control line. We dtd tues night & Thursday night tried last night but DH fell asleep! We dtd this morn but DH always has trouble ejaculating on a morning (not what we need now) so we're gonna try again later. How many hours after positive opk do you ovulate and do you think il be covered if I dtd today would love to actually know when that egg releases 😭 My bbt today was 36.31 xxxx

chapman - you release an egg 12-36 hours after your positive! If it was darker this morning then I would call that your positive and count from then 😊 Dtd tonight and tomorrow and you should be fine!
I just got my positive today and didn't dtd last night but managed this morning and will again tonight and tomorrow!

You and I can count down the tww together! 😃 X

Yeah Chapman, yay for positive opks!! We dtd on the day of positive and the next day (also positive ppl as mine are always positive for a couple of day) worked for us! Good luck. Get that egg!! And you bobo! Fingers crossed for you both xx

Cookie - so sorry that's AF showed babe really thought this would be your month along with sunny! Least you Can go on all inclusive hol and enjoy yourself! We fly to LA in the second week of May so I've still got another cycle after this one if I don't fall this month. Hugs for you xxxxx

Bobo - aw that's good news Hun hopefully egg releases today or tomorrow!! 😀 me and DH did it 3 times this morning and not once did he cum don't know why but never does on a morn but we got showered was off to go shopping and then he started undressing me again haha any ways 4th time lucky it was fine so il give him the rest of the night off and do it again tomorrow 😊 Even went to asda not having a shower again trying to keep it in as long as poss 😂😂

Sunny - hope I haven't missed it I was trying to wake him up last night and he literally was exhausted I felt so annoyed and bad cause he was tired haha! then this morning he literally jumped on me! Ice attached a pic of my opks!

Bottom one is this morn at 9.30am top one is 13.35pm! Will do another one tonight I think!

Remember I said I shud of ov the 19th/20th as I got bad pains and ewcm the 19th and I knew in my head I shud of DH that night but I had a fight with dhd that night so I didn't but I done it the 20th which was the next day but af just arrived which makes ov the 19th exactly I can't believe I missed ov by a day !!! I'm now 1dpo! Had strong lines on Opk Sunday, darker than control line on Monday and I felt the Egg release at 10pm last night (34 hrs after first darker than control Opk!!)

Really hope we caught it this cycle!

The test line on my cheap Ics have finally gone as dark as the control line today, 20dpo. 5 weeks tomorrow. It's going slowly! I'm getti a bit of right sides pain but just keeping an eye on it at the moment, i will speak to gp if it gets worse. x

Thats poo Shan but atleast it's nearly over and you can try again Have you tried opks? Ov pains aren't always a great indicator of when to dtd as they can come on after ovulation and by then it's too late.

Chapman I' think I'm going to have to give my frers to dh to hide so I'm not tempted! I'm going to try and wait until after af is due but knowing me I will cave at 12dpo haha

Hey, can I join in?! Me and hubby to be are ttc #1 and I came off the pill in December, now on day 110!! Didnt think it would take this long to have a natural period, but im guessing its just the crazyness of the pill!!

I came off the pill at the end of November and my first cycle was 76days! I too thought I'd pretty much go straight back to normal but nope. We all know how frustrating it is to want to start trying and having a stupid body that makes you wait

Do you have any idea when you are ovulating? Using opks? Or just waiting this one out?

Suppose ur right bobo but I'm just gona dhd every 2 to 3 days and when I get ewcm il Deffo be doing it hopefully it's not a long cycle like this one cause il will crack :(

Hi cat welcome!! Aw I feel your pain, my 1st cycle off pill this time was 98 days, but I stopped pill a few years back and 1st cycle was 9 months! Very annoying. I do think Angus cactus helped me get periods back quicker this time. On the plus side I'm now 5 weeks pregnant tomorrow so it does come back, just takes a bit of time. It's easier for me to say that now but at the time I was getting really worked up and frustrated as these ladies will tell you!

Chapman, I know I'm addicted, I can't help it! I have about 40 ic's for about £4 from Amazon sat in a drawer so they are calling to me!! sorry tmi but I was actually drier this cycle post of than I normally am (wonder if my progesterone was higher than previous months?) I didn't get the creamy cm that people talk about in early pregnancy until about a week after bfp and now I've got it in abundance!! Keep having to check I haven't come on as it feels like so much!

Bobo I got a good line on early test at 10dpo, was really strong by 12dpo so in sure 12dpo would be fine to test... Although obv you will save money testing later!

Hi ladies can I join too?

We are TTC #1 and came off pill at start of Feb. First cycle was 33 days (ov'd CD24). On CD28 of second cycle now and no ovulation yet ... Looks like it's going to be a long one. Was hoping cycle length would decrease not increase!

Doing OPK's and every day they have the same shade of line that just isn't getting darker ... Very frustrating!

Also getting spots that the pill was obviously keeping away! Love that it's out of my system enough to make me spotty but not enough to ovulate on time!

Sunny I think you gave me some advise when I first came off pill ... Congrats on your BFP ... fab news!!

Bobo - I haven't gone out to buy any for that reason I am so impatient! Can I ask have you dried up down there or are you still getting cm?

Sunny - thanks Hun it's not tmi just I have dried up down there now and when I've been reading into it people who have had there bfp have had it constantly since ovulation so I was just wondering but it's re assuring to know you only started it after your bfp! Xx

Sciatica was bad today only for like an hour but I only usually get that the week leading up to AF! Because of this genuinely feel like I'm out already feel like shit today xxxxx

33day first cycle is great! Fx this one is only a little bit longer and you get a positive Opk soon! Don't remind me about the spots 😩 Mine were so bad after stopping the pill I looked like a teenager again! 5 months off of it and I am still getting them though not so many thank god!

Hi may! Welcome, fingers crossed you ov soon. I know how frustrating it is doing opks everyday for weeks that all look the bloody same!

Chapman, no I think it's quite ormal to dry up after ov. It's estrogen that gives you cm, which is the hormone that dominates the 1st part of cycle and peaks as you hear up to ovulate. And then progesterone dominates in the luteal phase and its quite common to be drier. Some women get a bit of ewcm after ovulation because the corpus luteum (that the egg has popped out of) produces small amounts of estrogen. Although funnily enough in previous cycles ov always had quite a lot of creamy cm post ov... But think maybe my progesterone levels were lower. Also everyone is a bit different. I'd read things online where people knew they were pregnant because of abundant cm but wasn't like that for me. Xx

Hello ladies! I am still lurking but have been having a break from the site for a while as we decided to wait another couple of months before carrying on ttc as my maternity package at work means that I wouldn't get paid my 6 months mat leave if I went on another batch of maternity within 12 months of the last lot...so i need a baby due on or after 4th Feb which means a while to go still!! So lovely to hear happy stories of success after the wretched pill. Am pleased to say that my cycles have settled down a little bit now and are down to 27/28 days. Have decided not to go back on the pill again unless I'm fairly sure we won't have anymore children as I don't want the same thing to happen to my body!!
