For everyone who is entering the madness that is Ttc after stopping the pill. Maybe to start the thread we could all post our stats, so we remember where everyone is at and don't have to check the old thread. X

Hello ladies, I haven't posted in a while! I came off the pill in December last year and had some spotting (literally a spot after I wiped - tmi) around 30 days later and since then nothing. I've been trying to pay attention to cervical mucus and I think I may finally truly have EWCM and I may have had ovarian pain yesterday - but it probably wasn't. So I managed to DTD the day before the pain that may or may not be related!! The main reason for my post though is that I picked up some blood tests from a fortnight ago and I have low prolactin and high (11) fsh. My dr said it could be related to coming off the pill (cerazette) but a tiny bit of research says this isn't the case. Has anyone else had this? Last time it was tested was when I was pregnant or just before I was pregnant 3 years ago and it was 2. The dr said that 12 would be a warning of poor outcome in a fertility clinic. :/ anyway hopeful that it is all related to the pill as I had the same lack of periods last time but didn't get any blood tests until 6 months post-pill rather than 3 this time.

Iv lost my mind... Just peed on an IC at 7dpo, with dilute urine (only had a week 2.5 hours ago!! Haha) wasn't even really fussed at looking at the results, just haven't weed on a stick for a week, getting withdrawals!

Phones the surgery and got told my bloods from yesterday were filed as normal with no further action. The reception couldn't read out my actual progesterone level as they aren't allowed. I would be interested to know as I don't 100% trust them (control freak!) but at least that's reassuring for the time being!

Hi tiny, the pill can really throw your hormones out of whack. I wouldn't be too concerned at 3 months. Have they got a plan to repeat them in a few months? Fingers crossed you caught ovulation and get a bfp and it won't matter anyway! Xx

BFN Girls late cycle for me :( but I think I ovulated they other day cus very bad pains and ewcm proper so I dhd the fight nights I did so FX in a few weeks test again

Aw, at least you know Shan. And like you say, it's likely you ovulated late so fingers crossed your bfp is still on its way.

Iv just looked and my 7dpo IC is bfn.... Haha who's surprised! Lol. 😂 x

I will go back at 6 months post pill and hope in the meantime that I get lucky. I'm not sure what is worse - no period so no 2ww, not knowing when ovulating etc or Periods every month and BFN. Probably the latter?

Tiny I feel your pain. When I stopped the pill 1st time took 10 months to have a period. This time it took 3 months and my cycles have been anywhere from 29-98 days. I find the waiting to ovulate much much more frustrating than the tww! I don't actually mind the bfns as I feel like at least the opportunity was there. It's the not ovulating for weeks and weeks and doing endless temps and opks and dtd every few days "just in case" that drives me crackers with the not knowing. At least in the tww I know whether we have dtd at the right time, and it's in fates hands, and there is an end point! (Although the days do seem to last longer in the tww!) x

I stopped taking the pill in August and my cycles have gone from 66, 33, 38 and I'm currently on day 57.

Cycles when ttc#1 started at 89 and dropped down to 40 days by now! So frustrating!

Wow 10 months Sunny! I've got a while to go before I reach that! I've given up with OPKs but I might consider it if/when I get a period. I wish I'd been able to OPK for this recent EWCM but didn't get a chance. Next time! :)

Welcome mummy! It's frustrating isn't it. Mine were 98, 54, 32, 29 and now on cd 50 and due on I a few days so length suddenly gone up again! Don't think il ever go on the pill again til I'm don't having my babies.

Tiny, I think il do opks next month as they are quick and I don't have to do anything differently... Although doing 40 days in a row is pretty mind numbing!! but I'm not going to temp (if my progesterone bloods show my opks to be right and I am ovulating) because it does affect my sleep.. I wake up early worried I'm going to forget to temp, or get anxious if I wake up early and think "my temp won't be accurate now, but if I don't do it and go back to sleep it won't be accurate after only 1 hour sleep" and then I can't get back to sleep cos woken my self up by worrying about it! Haha.

I was really lucky last time. It was 99 until spotting then 39 then I got pregnant but it would have been a 60+ day cycle. This time it's been 30 days until spotting and now I'm on day 40 I think. I guess if I did ovulate yesterday then it would be something like a 54 day cycle. To be honest I could handle long cycles it's just the irregularity and not knowing so you can't plan in any way.

Hi everyone. How's your Easter weekend going? Full of chocolate I hope! I'm going to back to slimming World this week.... I've done nothing but eat for weeks now, All my clothes are tight!

I did a ic this morning. Negative. But stupidly looked hours later and possibly posibly a hint of an evap. I know it was an evap not a line but in also had really sore boobs and wanted to know before a night out tonight, so did an superdrug early test and completely negative! Boo. I know it's still early at 9dpo but think il just wait for at now. Short luteal phase so should be here in the next couple of days. Think i might be just starting to get the niggles of period pain so shouldn't be long! 😕 x

Easter is going good decorating the spare room totally redoing it! I'm on cd 8 today I'm doing SMEP this month haha. So gonna do the bd tonight probably tomorrow too with it being weekend going to start doing opks tomorrow too!

Sorry to hear about the BFN Sunny. Fingers crossed it's too early. I've been eating and drinking to take my mind off of the lack of cycle. I've been doing slimming workd badly for 6 months and have almost lost a stone but keep putting that pound on and off again.

Urm.... Just did this, 4pm in the afternoon (haven't drunk much today and held wee for 4 hours). Tell me I'm not seeing things! 10dpo! Absolutely zilch on same test yesterday! (Well possibly the greyest evap in the world and only if I held it up against my torch like a line!) even had a glass and a half of wine last night! If this is really true and I'm not sure I believe it, then I conceived on a cycle where I ovulated on cd43! I'm going to test again tomorrow, see if it's getting darker. I'm not going to let myself get too excited as it's such such early days and I know what the rate is of things going wrong are at this stage. Plus slightly higher chance of miscarriage with pcos. Wow, sorry for rambling, I was totally expecting bfn. Thanks for all your support ladies and helping me through the craziness... I never thought it would be my turn! Xx

Ps I'm going to feel like a total idiot if this turns out to be an evap... But it did come up faintly in the first 3 mins. Picture is at 10 mins x

Yay I'm so glad someone else has seen it and I'm not just bonkers. I tested whilst hubby was out and I can't get hold of him. Think he is going to have to meet me at a family meal tonight so il have to wait until after to tell him. Easter bunny brought me a different kind of egg! 😀

The line has actually dried a bit darker. I'm just going to have to cross my fingers that the egg settles in ok.

Yeah superdrug early. When I tested at 9dpo test I had decided they were a bit crap but I take it all back.

I've had really really sore nipples and boobs last 4 days. Temps have all been up regardless of what time it taken them (iv tested it repeatedly like a loon at various times!) and I'm really tired but that just might be from a long week. And iv had what feels like ovulation pain, particularly on the right side (?? Uterus stretching, hoping the egg isn't in a tube but it would be too early to be causing pain anyway!). And the occasional very mild bit of nausea a couple of days ago but I think that was in my head!

Aww Sunny, I really am so pleased for you! You were the first one I started speaking to on this thread (well, the previous thread) & I know the journey you've been through. It gives me hope! The line isn't even a squinter - amazing! Aw you'll need to do something like hide the test inside an Easter egg box for hubby! Tell him the bunny brought him an egg hehe!

I've got 2 Superdrug tests and 2 frer in my drawer! Will test perhaps on Friday if AF hasn't showed. Going on holiday next Monday so I need to know whether I'll be making the most of the all inclusive drinks or not lol! Here's hoping I wake up tomorrow with a pair of sore boobs!
