Freaking out a bit. As is DH. Thrilled but terrified. This was supposed to take months!

Going to spend the day with my mum today and DH is adamant we can't tell anyone yet...going to be v hard to keep mouth shut. Terrible timing!

Aw Chapman I'm so sorry, I really thought this might be your turn. It's such a disappointment isn't it. Don't feel like you have to chivvy your self up straight away. It's ok to feel sad and wallow in it for a day. I felt much better for my sob a few weeks ago. Have a cry some chocolate and watch a good film. And then pick yourself up, next month is a new try. I always feel shitty and "it's never going to happen" until I get my positive opk and then i get positive again! Xx

Chapman, so sorry to hear of AF hun, you poor thing. You're totally within your right to be feeling gutted/upset/angry! I was devastated last month & seem to be taking it worse as the months go on. As Sunny says, it's a new month and once ov time approaches then the optimism can start again!

Well I'm (hopefully) 3dpo. Please let me reach the 1 week mark without AF showing!! These short luteal phases are driving me mad. I also have 2 FRER and 2 Superdrug early tests in my drawer in preparation for test time- I'm mad, I know!! Shan, have you tested yet? Maybe I could post you one Hun?? I honestly don't mind doing that! xx

sUNNY - i KNOW HUN SO DID I (oops sorry about the caps im so used to typing in caps at work) i had all the symptoms of BFP but then again i know myself when im gonna come on i just think women have that feeling haha! but as you say gonna pick myself up for next month! have a drink at the weekend and by monday AF will be gone! how have you gotten on have you and OH been dtd?

Congratulations lemon :) send BFP my way as I'm 3 weeks late tomorrow and no sign atal ☺ so I may take a test or il be signing myself into the nut house :( heads recked and I'm getting so much cm I keep thinking it's AF so I'm running to the bathroom but it's not ? So I dno I may test soon if it a BFN I dno what's wrong never this late in my life b4 the pill it was sometimes 2 weeks but 3 weeks never

We haven't dtd since tues so will try and get on it tonight! Really hoping I did ov earlier this week though. I had a pounding headache on Monday & I never get headaches, so I'm kind of hoping it was a 'hormone headache', which I know can happen! We'll see! I feel like I've had an influx of people recently just asking me about babies and when it's going to happen etc. It's so insensitive (although, I admit, i probably was one of those people!)

Shan, definitely do a test! You don't want to be 7 or 8 weeks pregnant and just finding out Mrs! Xx

I think the egg has popped. Opk negative today and temp up this morning. Just hope it stays up and it's not another false surge. This opk was way darker than my false one earlier in month and when iv had such dark ones before I always come one 7-10 days later, so fingers crossed I am ovulating. Dtd last 2 nights and will try again for tonight to try to catch it, but I'm on call so fingers crossed I'm not called out. I don't need to be delivering other people's babies when I should be at home trying to make my own! Haha.

Cookie we are at similar place in cycle and I have short literal phases too. Snap. Fingers crossed this is our month.

Shan: wee on a stick woman!! Preferably a hpt type stick... Not just any old stick out of your garden. I hope it's bfp for you. Do you know when you ovulated? Don't wanna be the voice of reason but if you don't know for sure that you have ovulated you might just be having long cycle/delayed ovulation. Look at me, cycles pre pill were normal 30 days... Cycles after pill are anything from 29 days to 100! Iv ovulated on cd43 this month so wouldn't expect period until about cd 53.... But not because my period is late, because my ovulation was late. If that makes sense. X

Sunny you are right, I think we all do genuinely care about how everyone is getting on - even though we are complete strangers IRL! I even feel a little bit guilty that I've got my BFP on cycle 1, feels like I've jumped the queue and normally I'm so polite.

Haha lemon, we don't mind queue jumping here! I'm genuinely really excited to log on and see who has got bfps. There are not a limited number of pregnancies.. Ie the fact that you are pregnant doesn't mean that one of us won't be. Or put another way if you weren't pregnant one of us wouldn't be pregnant in your place. Everyone and every body is different.. And my hubby said to me the other day, the longer we wait the more exciting it will be when it happens. He is a good egg. Thanks for the lucky stars!

On a separate note I just bumped into someone I vaguely know (ie have met about twice) in a shop, they have recently had a baby... And after I asked about the baby he then asked me if we were trying!! That's not an appropriate question, in a shop! Haha, because of my job though I get asked a million times a day, iv perfected my lie to, "no we have only been married 8 months, we are just enjoying married life for now". It's like asking someone if they are having unprotected sex! 😂 I might ask a close friend but not a near stranger!! X

Like I don't drive neither does my husband but I live in the middle of a bog haha and when I get into town I do be rushed off my feet getting food and stuff by the time I get home I realise I forget and my husband is to embarrassed to get one as he works with all his friends and we trying to keep TTC a secret so I can't really ask anyone either I will get my hands on one soon I might pop into tesco tomorrow when I'm heading that way to check if I'm lucky to remember I keep forgetting as I'm just waiting for af to arrive because of the BFN 2 weeks ago well 1 BFN the other one was invalid

So I'm confused yet again! Thought I was 4dpo but have been doing OPKs just incase I get another late surge like last month. Looks like my body has been tricking me and my ov is now approaching. I'm officially done with clear blue smiley OPKs! Waste of time! Will try and seduce DH tonight and tomorrow! Does any else get strong OPKs even after ov? I'm one very confused, frustrates lady right now!!! xx

Aw cookie, you sound like me about three weeks ago! That opk is definitely negative. Mine have test lines of varying degrees of darkness through the whole month. Was your one last week darker than that? I haven't got a picture put if you look back on thread to about the 26th of feb you will see my pic of my almost positive opk. I thought that might be ov as the 2nd line was almost As dark as control... Then got lighter. This proper positive was way way darker. Do you temp? That's the only way to confirm ovulation after positive opk.

Also just a side note.. My opks are always darker after Iv been drinking (which thinking about it was the case with the one a few weeks ago) because I'm dehydrated the next day! Maybe it's just that.

Sorry for the following rant😅:
I am officially having a crap week 😩! Af was a couple days late so I got my hopes up only to have a bfn on Wednesday. I could handle that but then two people on the march bus got bfps later that day... Followed by another bfp on Thursday... And another yesterday!!! By now I'm thinking Mother Nature is seriously rubbing my bfn in my face 😡 No bfps this morning so I figure the run is over and then up pops a post on Facebook showing a family friend had her baby 4 weeks early! I'm over the moon for her as she had Ivf and he is a beautiful baby, I just didn't need it this week! I'm waiting for an announcement tomorrow from a family member saying they are pregnant to be the icing on the cake and then I may have a little cry 😞 I always thought ttc was supposed to be a fun happy thing but apparently not 😩
