Ladies I have a question: Last cycle af arrived at 10dpo (this was first cycle after pill and a bit of a mess). Do I assume af will arrive on 10dpo again and test at 12dpo (which will be with you on Wednesday Gold) or is that too early? I know people tend to wait until 14/15dpo but as my luteal phase might be short I thought 12dpo would be ok? And obviously I'm impatient and don't want to wait any longer

Hi sorry I was sitting my kids out and bathing them! Can I ask (just for the purposes of knowing a bit more about you all) what number baby this is? BoBo after ovulation your cycle should be roughly 14 days. However implantation can happen from 6-12 days so you could get a positive from 8dpo onwards but if it's a bfn don't get too disheartened because it's totally possible to get a negative until 14dpo!! X

Bobo I reckon you have a pretty good chance of an accurate test result at 12dpo, provided you use an early-response type test like a FRER. Don't be disheartened if it's negative though as it might just still be slightly too early.

Princess I am trying for #2. DD just turned 18 months. I only really want (and can afford!) two children so this is probably it for us once (hopefully!) when we have child number 2.

This will be baby number 5 for me although I only have 3 living daughters as my son was unfortunately stillborn. With my first 3 children I didn't test positive until 14dpo bit my last little girl I tested positive with a frer at 11dpo and probably would have had a line at 10dpo! I get a bit obsessive though and test from 7dpo. I'm fed a pre on a stick addict! Haha

Hello BoBo, all ok here, I've been getting cramps on and off for the last couple of days which I don't normally get but no other symptoms.

I'm quite enjoying waiting to test this cycle.. Previous months I've been frantically poas days in advance and then ended up disappointed. With waiting, I can relax and imagine that I might already be pregnant without being constantly reminded that I'm not!

BoBo I'm not sure about your question, when I came off the pill it took at least six months for my periods to become completely regular.

We had a big family lunch today for my mum's birthday. Halfway through, DD announces "Mummy's got a baby in her tummy!"
Cue excitement/shock from my family and me trying not to burst into tears whilst trying to laugh it off. Awful awful awful.
Add to this that I've got a bad eye infection that makes me look like I've been punched in the face and my piles and I'm just a mess, really...
And it's fertile week. Joy.

I've had a few pains and twinges today but no af yet. They feel more like they are in my ovaries than my womb so that's a bit different to normal af cramps I'm totally clutching at straws and ignoring the fact af will most likely arrive tomorrow

Fingers crossed BoBo and hope af hasn't arrived. No sign of af yet for me, but don't want to get too hopeful..

I'm 8 DPO and in two minds about whether it's our month or not. Symptoms so far : vivid dream about having a baby last night), thirsty and needing the loo lots and some cramping. Oh and a sore throat has turned up which is probably completely irrelevant but you never know!

However before I had my last BFP (which was a v.early mc) I found I was experiencing lots of creamy cm and this month there doesn't seem to be much. Aargh is it too early to test?

I'm away on a family weekend away and would really want to know by the weekend as they will know something isn't up if I don't have a drink or two (not a complete wino by the way ha ha)

Scottishgirl all I can say is that I had LOADS of creamy CM on my second to last 2ww. I was convinced I was pg, FF was convinced I was pg... I wasn't! So don't get disheartened over lack of it

fx for you Scottish I wouldn't test yet as you don't want the disappointment of a bfn for being too early. Hang on until Friday at earliest I'm only 11dpo (af due approx 10dpo based on last cycle but may just be later this cycle)

One more sleep until testing day for us Gold Luckily it happens to be my day off tomorrow so if it's a bfn I'm going to rage clean the house and eat all the chocolate I can find haha!

I'm in such a downbeat place, I've decided this is our last month of properly TTC. I'm almost out of OPKs and I was desperate for an Autumn or summer baby. I'm also going to my last acupuncture appointment on Thursday and really can't afford it any more, so that'll be stopping too. I'm on my second day off due to this eye infection, DH has a cold, and I'm away for my estimated ov day, so all in all a bit of a crappy situation.
Saying that, we did manage to DTD last night. No kissing, for fear of infecting each other... So romantic!!!

But then I see Harry from McFly's wife's Instagram posts about their little girl - conceived through ivf and I just think wow I'm being such a dick and need a good slap! I'm so lucky to have had one conception/pregnancy/birth/baby. Another one would be great, but if it takes time, it takes time.

And my boss hinted today that I may be getting a role I've been asking for for several years in September. Will be a big challenge, but one I'm excited about. So actually a pregnancy might not be great timing right now... AAARGH life!!!!

Well now I'm totally confused. Tested again today and initially put it aside as bfn. However looked again 30 mins later and there was a very faint pink line, which I suppose could be an evaporation line. So I'll test again on Thursday. Still no af but similar to BoBo I've had twinges/ pain on left side, similar to ov pain but not like af cramps.

Sounds promising little.i would poas again tmwr. That 2nd line doesn't appear easily. Fx fx

I had some more cramping and a bit of blood tonight when wiping and a weird stitch underneath my right rib cage. Strange! I hope it's not AF coming mega early. Doesn't feel like it though
