March BFP bus!

CD1 for me today and as I have quite long cycles, I will be missing February altogether.

My stats are:

Got my BFP today!

Stats:
TTC#1 for 22 months
2 miscarriages at 4

Not overly sure on dates for this one. Last proper period was 17th Jan but I had 2/3 days of spotting on 18th Feb.

I think im 5+4 but can't be overly sure.

I am very anxious as have had 2 miscarriages in last year but this one seems to have made it a tiny bit further so hoping it sticks around.

Drank prosseco, ate Stilton and had a back and shoulder massage this week- all things I wouldn't have done had I known!

Hopefully I'm one day behind you baby - expecting my temp rise tomorrow.

I think I ovulated today, so I should really DTD tonight to be sure. Had a bit of a shitty day at work though so I'm really not feeling it. I missed my DDs' parents' evening because I had to do a parents' evening myself, and then I had a horrible parent right at the end. Not feeling sexy right now!

Sorry about your crap work day Giraffes. Hope you found some energy to DTD.

As for me, AF has finally turned up, more than a week late. Gutted. I really thought what with being late I might have still had a chance (and I kept stupidly reading things through google where people didn't get their BFPs until they were several days late etc). Am also hoping this is just a fluke long cycle caused by illness and not a sign that all my cycles are going to be nearly 40 days long. Ugh. Plus DH announced just before he left for work that he's going for a couple of after work drinks this evening so think I will just sulk on the sofa this evening once DD is in bed. Sad

Anyway new stats are:

ETD: Late march (assuming a normal length cycle this time).

Even more BFPs! Congrats all. I think I may have gone mad. Am 9dpo now and tested 7dpo and today at 9, obviously bfn :( got excited as my temp spiked .3 but I also worked a night so got up at different times. Feel out already although it's still early. Really hate the tww :(

Fx to you too mimi just feels like everyone has got bfp this cycle! Had 2 babies born in the family this week which doesn't help and my ds is basically potty trained and doesn't need me so much. Why do they have to grow up!

Oh how nice of ds.how old is he now?I know what you mean about everyone getting preg around. Sme ladies I was on threads with will be giving birth in a month or two and here l am jumping from one bus to the other. Its tough.hope our time comes soon fxfx

My ds is 3 bless him. He was perm weighing 2lb 11oz at birth so I've been scared until now to try again. The first year was mainly spent in and out of hospital. Nearly cried the other day as I don't ever really go into what we went through with him the only reason people know the basics is from the time I took off work when he got readmitted. But my friend said basically I had a sh*t pregnancy and first 18 months with him, now he's doing so well. I dont often look back to those days now, I worry that my body would fail me again and I'd have another premature baby, fx not though.

How long have you been trying mimi? Are you on any meds etc? I've got pcos but not been to gp about ttc yet giving it a few months as only on cycle 2 this time

Trying I know how you feel. Each cycle the sense of impending doom gets stronger and I want to just count myself out from 1dpo. So hard to stay positive. And that's without the trauma that you've been through.
I went back to my acupuncturist tonight and she's cancelled my next two acu sessions and given me herbal pills in place of them. I have to take 28 per day plus 2 cups of herbal tea. She says she needs to extend my cycles from 24 to 27 days and has given me pills to cure my stress. NOW???? REALLY???? I've been telling her I'm stressed since I started treatment in January!!! Oh and surprisingly enough, all the pills together cost me an extra £30. I'm getting very cynical about it all. Plus it was the cause of the huge row with DH that I'm still a bit sad about. It also seems to mean she doesn't think I have a chance of getting pg this month either, so may as well jump on the march bus now

baby must be hard for you being a teacher too (unless it's teenagers that would just put you off having kids!) I thought about acupuncture but I'm a bit cynical about it too. Sorry you and dh had a row. Got fx it will be your month.

trying this is my 8th cycle so getting rather fed up. Here is hoping the next pregnancy goes smoother hun.it will be easier now cozif they know your history they can try prevent it from repeating itself. Fx for a quicker bfp !!!!

Hopping off the Feb bus and on to this one. AF isn't here properly yet but I've had some bloody CM so I know it's imminent. Boobs still hurt though which is a bit unfair, usually they stop just before AF arrives. They gave me false hope this month Sad.

I'm new to the thread and I've been ttc for 9 years or so. I have very regular periods with a 14 day luteal phase.

My last IUI was cancelled as I ovulated early. I'm now 18 or 19 dpo and no sign of af. We dtd at the required time but after 9 years and two failed IUIs I don't want to get excited.

So far my breasts feel heavy, I've had a few sharp pulling pains behind my belly button, a headache over my left eyebrow today and lower back pain. In fact I feel generally under the weather today.

I'm going to poas in the morning.

Under my cycles and symptoms are all over the places since TTC, I know what you mean. I'm usually regular as clockwork, always have the same symptoms - EWCM at right time, sore boobs and spots etc. Now it's all out of kilter. And no EWCM at all!!! Angry

Thanks trying u are so right and u made me laugh a bit.it seems easier to fall preg when u shouldn't haha.was just watching "I didn't know I was pregnant" and was pissed off that when u eat healthy, do everything by the book... nothing. Hope your Saturday was good.

I'm starting to think I've jumped the gun a little. I'm having stomach cramps not like period pains but as though I have food poisoning or a stomach bug.

I don't think that's a pregnancy symptom. I wish I hadn't read too much into it now.

God I feel shocking. Really tired and quite nauseous. Trying to work out if it's psychosomatic. I felt very similar in Dec when I was very late for my period and I suspect actually had a chemical. That was the catalyst for wanting to ttc again. Because I really thought I was preg and then AF turned up mega late, even by my standards. But I felt really queasy then too.

I'm only 8dpo though, which to me seems really early for definite symptoms. I tested today just in case and was a definite negative. My temps and OPKs support be only being 8dpo too.

So who knows what's going on. But it's sending me a bit mental given this is only our first month TTC this time around. Not a great sign.
