So I can't see a line, maybe a horizontal one, faintly.
But, this instructions talk about the intensity of the colour pink 'in the test region' not on a line.

You are looking for another vertical line. I think I can see a very very faint line but it may be an evap line. Try again in the morning with first urine of the day and hopefully it will show. When they talk about the intensity of colour they mean that the line will be darker if you have more HCG in your system i.e. faint line when testing early on and getting darker if you test the next couple of days
