Pregnant or not?

Ok so I've been ttc for over 6 months now and I'm kind of driving myself slightly insane. On the 8th January I had an internal ultrasound to see if I had PCOS which thankfully I don't but also my uterus was clearly empty. I have these cheapie tests that I bought from Amazon a couple of months back and Before yesterday I've taken 6 (one most recently as last week, the time before that was just before new year) all negative but then last night I took one and had a faint but visible line I then did two more and got the same result. I've heard of Evap lines so I waited till just now when I got woken up needing to pee and tried a clear blue digi test which showed pregnant 1-2 weeks!!! I'm trying not to get my hopes up as I've heard they're notorious for false positives especially if they come up 1-2 weeks but what do you all think?? Is it possible to be pregnant considering I had a clearly empty uterus on a screen like almost 3 weeks ago? Or am I just extremely unlucky and got 4 false positives?

Well when was your last period? When did you ovulate? Couldn't you have got pregnant since your ultrasound?
I'm not an expert but I thought false positives were pretty rare.

I have very irregular cycles they can range from 39-59 days. My last one was beginning of December. According to my calendar I did ovulate 2 weeks ago but I didn't do an opk so I can't tell for sure. I suppose it is possible to have got pregnant since then but my point is if I'd gotten pregnant in the last two/three weeks would it already be showing up. I'm just very paranoid I had a loss last year and I didn't test pos for that until 6 weeks.

Also apparently according to the googling I did after I took the clearblue digi loads of people have had false positives with them

If you ovulated (and got pregnant) a couple of weeks ago then yes it would start to show on tests now. I guess all you can do is wait and see but positives on two types of test would make me hopeful at least!
And I really don't know much about false positives but I thought the point was the pregnancy hormone has to be in your wee to get a positive result, so it's hard to get a false positive? (Though I guess a chemical pregnancy could make you think you've had a false positive - you get a positive test then your period a day or two later, but actually it's a very very early pregnancy loss?)

As you ovulated (probably) 2 weeks ago and the scan was 3 weeks I'd say there is a very good chance you are pregnant :) maybe make an appt with your GP to discuss it? Congratulations :)

It's perfectly feasible.

Sounds very promising - get a FRER and test again!
